Pros: “The crew was friendly, the food was great, the flight was safe.” Cons: “More space”

Pros: “The crew was A+, the food was delicious, and the amenities were great even for economy class.” Cons: “Some of the flight attendants spoke very quickly and were difficult to understand.”

Pros: “I love Korean Air” Cons: “No complaints!”

Cons: “My trip from Kuala Lumpur to Korea and back faces critical situation during landing at both airports (Incheon and KLIA). I WANT TO SUGGEST THAT KOREAN AIR MUST CHECK YOUR TIRE CONDITION BEFORE TAKE OFF. I DONT FLY WITH KOREAN AIRLINES ANYMORE”

Pros: “Crew and moves” Cons: “The food was so-so.”

Pros: “The airline offers special meals upon request, with very good seafood dishes in each serving.” Cons: “The touch screen didn’t work on the entertainment; everything had to be controlled with the remote control.”

Pros: “Boarded on time; everything dealt with efficiently; friendly staff. Breakfast wasn’t great – overall too sweet. Usually Korean goes well with food.”

Pros: “I like the Korean bibimbap food in the film selection, it was good for the Korean and Asian films, although there were few.” Cons: “People didn’t obey boarding orders, everyone lined up all at once up and the crew allowed them on board, although they were not supposed to go any further, although I was supposed to board first, I was able to board last. I didn’t really like the choices for the Japanese and Korean M music, without liking CJ-pop and K-pop more, I also like traditional Japanese music like Koto and more traditional Korean music”

Cons: “They need to offer more water on the flight. Had to keep asking.”

Pros: “On time, good service and food”

Pros: “Big screen. Full soda cans. Not too cold. Space for the legs.”

Negative: “1:50 hrs late.”

Pros: “Flight was great and comfortable. Will fly Korean again.” Cons: “I couldn’t hear an announcement very well. It was spongy.”

Pros: “Service, friendliness”

Pros: “Anonymous, I really appreciate being able to get a meal on the plane. I love all the delicious food as well as the cleanliness for Korea Air and the good customer service.”

Cons: “Cabin temperature was too high”

Pros: “The flight attendants were very nice to everyone on the phone.”

Pros: “Food choices and crew courtesy” Cons: “Pet boarding – there was a puppy on board that cried and cried. i am a dog lover Please remember this flight from JFK, NY to Seoul, Korea was over 13 hours. I am aware of the stress that air travel causes to pets. Nevertheless, it is up to each pet owner to decide which pet is allowed to travel on board. This particular pet owner has chosen to let his/her pet scream causing the pet’s stress and discomfort throughout the flight and upsetting all the passengers. The pet owner did nothing, such as not giving the pet a tranquilizer or holding the pet to provide comfort or safety. I personally find such behavior irresponsible.”

Cons: “Boarding was free for everyone. I didn’t board in the aisle.”

Pros: “The staff was friendly and even though it was a fast flight they still provided a light meal. They were very efficient getting people on and off the plane.”

Pros: “Amazing service, very polite and professional. The food was very good, the facilities were clean/thought out, and the seats were quite roomy and comfortable. TV screens worked well with good sound. Will fly again!”

Pros: “Get preferred seating because we were Elite Plus members of the Sky Team” Cons: “Get off the plane in cold weather in Seattle.”

Pros: “Nice service” Cons: “The omelette, I got terrible food poisoning and all my friends had stomach upsets. Bad experience because of that… Everyone around me wasn’t happy either, because of bloating/farting, poor people.”

Pros: “I like all email reminders and notifications”

Pros: “Boarding is systematic, all items fine. Food was good. Love the legroom.”

Pros: “I have never flown with this airline but I tried as it is a Skyteam subsidiary. Wasn’t disappointed. The flight was easy and the team was nice.”

Pros: “Almost everything” Cons: “In priority class, aisle access from window seat was tight”

Pros: “- Great service from the crew on board. – Very good Indian veg food e.g. Hindu veg food and Asian veg food. I would suggest the non veg people to try these next time.”

Pros: “I fly a lot of Asian airlines. This was my first time with KE. Overall I would say the food was ok and I’m not particularly picky. But the flight from Seoul to JFK was just beef and seafood and a Korean rice bowl. Pretty limited. If you’re a vegetarian, I would suggest planning for a vegetarian meal.”

Cons: “Their movie offerings are a bit limited.”

Pros: “All flight attendants were professional in appearance and demeanor. They cleaned the toilets after each customer left the toilet.” Negative: “I came from a very cold climate and wore long underwear under my street clothes. Unfortunately, it seemed that the blankets on the plane were “too” warm.”

Pros: “You can take a free city tour if you are in transit at Incheon Airport. Also a fantastic public area for customers passing through with free showers, cushioned day bed, charging points. Paid massages, paid airport hotels, or lounges with buffets.” Cons: “There was nothing we didn’t like about our flight to Seoul”

Pros: “Everything was good and the price was reasonable.” Cons: “I think every flight should have more movies, music and other entertainment.”

Positive: “The boarding went smoothly. The seats weren’t too bad. Decent selection of films, but I’ve had better. USB plugs at each seat. Ordered vegetarian food but didn’t arrive.” Negative: “They didn’t have my vegetarian meal that I ordered so they were quite hungry.”

Pros: “The plane was delayed, but we appreciated the Korean Airlines staff waiting for all the passengers who needed to catch their next flight. Pros: “Stewardesses are polite.” Cons: “The bathroom floor is not properly maintained. Always wet.”

Pros: “O” Cons: “Overall the flight was good except for the long 12 hour layover in Korea that killed us. Maybe it’s okay if just one doesn’t fly back and forth along the way.”

Positive: “Friction-free running”

Pros: “So very accommodating and friendly. The standard for customer service.”

Pros: “Service”

Pros: “This was my first overseas trip and Korean Air made it very enjoyable! I really enjoyed the pillow, blanket, general hospitality, continuous supply of food, snacks and drinks. The planes were very nice and didn’t seem overcrowded yet. Ticket and baggage clerks were fantastic!”

Pros: “The flight was quite busy so it felt crowded but we were able to sleep. The flight attendants were great as always.” Cons: “the cramped quarters at night.”

Pros: “Polite crew, good service, latest movies, comfortable.” Cons: “The couscous had curdled into a lump. Small bottled water would be nice.”

Pros: “Many bathrooms available. Bathroom specifically for women. Toothbrush/paste/slippers provided. Passenger tags can be placed on the headrest to indicate if they wish to be woken up for dinner. Free alcohol. Friendly staff.” Cons: “Dry air. Even though I put the label to be woken up for meals, I wasn’t woken up when they served instant noodles as a snack. I asked if I could have one after I woke up and they asked for my seat number. I showed them my seat was in the exit row but I never got my instant noodles even though I saw them all ready to go in the galley. Maybe they only have a limited amount.”

All Japan Airlines staff, from the check-in clerk to the stewardess, were all very polite and helpful.

JAL staff is always super professional, polite and helpful. The ground staff in Japan were extremely helpful in solving our connection problems perfectly.

Kayak messed up the planning of our canceled flight and kept us from leaving for a whole day

The plane got on late but they didn’t give anyone an estimate of when they would be boarding so people could go to the nearby lounge. The crew on board was great and the premium economy is worth it. I wish they allowed the purchase of business class upgrades which are only allowed with points. The food on this flight is not as good as usual. Not many new movies to see. Overall pleasant flight

Overall experience from check in to disembark – everything was painless and comfortable. Nice treatment. Special meals were good. Nothing to fault. The seats were quite comfortable and offered ample legroom. Will fly with them again

The same as above

Good service

Food options. There were no vegetarian options.

We appreciate your excellent customer service. My 88 year old mother enjoyed her rest room with attendant care that suited our needs. Your relentless patience, sincerity and humility touched our hearts remarkably. You treated everyone fairly. Thank you for keeping us all safe and secure. 🙂

There were about 20 people on the flight. It was like getting business class service from the crew.

Cons: “Easy to book with you even if I don’t understand English and Japan Airlines was a wonderful service. Thank you 😊”

Pros: “The flight attendants are the most professional and attentive staff I have ever encountered.” Cons: “Movie selection could have been so much better for such a long flight.”

Pro: “Super comfortable seat” Con: “Everything ok”

Pros: “I paid extra to get a bulkhead seat. But the monitor doesn’t stay up. So I asked for help. The flight attendant used tape on both my monitor and the one next to my.” Cons: “My boarding pass was marked SSSS and I was subjected to another gate security check at the NRT! They laid out all my carry-on bags on 2 long tables and wiped both hands. Then they sent me on my way, leaving my passport on the table. Glad I had the presence of mind to look for it!!!”

Pros: “Everything.” Cons: “The chairs were just a little uncomfortable, too hard, but everything else made up for it.”

Pros: “Crew members polite and nice.” Cons: “To schedule food service more evenly. A meal was served to the passengers on the left, and it was ready before the meal was served to the right.”

Pros: “The JAL service on the plane is great. The food is way better than other companies. The after dinner ice cream is great. The flight attendants are more polite and nicer than other companies. The interior of the aircraft was newer and more comfortable.” Cons: “N/A”

Pros: “The legroom at the seats was spacious and comfortable. However, the toilets could be cleaner.” Cons: “This is the second time I have flown JAL. And the food was below average. Should offer cup noodles or biscuits if passengers are hungry.”

Advantages: “Smooth running”

Positive: “Everything! Makes me want to travel to Japan more.” Cons: “I loved it”

Pros: “Speaks English”

Pros: “The level of care and attention given to my comfort during the flight was exceptional. Also, the economy was far better than any economy I’ve ever expected from other airlines.” Cons: “Upon boarding, I didn’t know where to go to get to the gate at first. Having to exit and then re-enter the airport was a hassle and further complicated my boarding. But that wasn’t JAL’s fault and it’s SFO’s.”

Pros: “Very helpful and polite” Cons: “I have a wound but the seat wasn’t very padded”

Pros: “Friendly, hard-working staff” Cons: “No notice to confirm bumpy ride”

Pros: “JAL has always offered exceptional value for money and first class service.” Cons: “Have taken several JAL flights over the past 1 year and this flight was significantly worse than the last few. Especially the meals.”

Cons: “After Osaka was very good. The flight back to the US was mediocre.

Positive: “Boarding and crew” Negative: “Lost luggage”

Pros: “Good quality food. Snacks for in between. Large selection of media entertainment. Convenient power supply available at every seat, including USB right in front of you. Plenty of handy pockets in front of you to stash various items.” Cons: “Unsurprisingly, the staff was a bit difficult to understand in English. I thought her English was pretty good.”

Positive: “Very nice crew and constant service. Very helpful with counter check-in. Compared to US airlines, Japan Airlines is much better!” Negative: “The flight was late for boarding. The crew was polite but not overly friendly. I wish they had an earlier flight so we didn’t have a 15 hour delay in Narita but I think the itinerary is what it is.”

Pros: “JAL always has good offices.”

Cons: “I reserved Korean air but it was a Japanese airline. It was really difficult to check in online to find my reservation.”

Pros: “Check-in was quick and painless. The crews were friendly. They gave my daughter a little toy before the start which made her happy. The seat was significantly wider than any other airline I’ve taken before.” Cons: “The food was so-so…although my daughter liked her kid’s food (tater tots, chicken nuggets, veggies, jam sandwich, fruit, ice cream.)”

Pros: “Great service and convenience. Great food. On time.” Cons: “The departing plane was older and had stains on the chairs, walls, etc. But still comfortable.”

Pros: “Our flight had a long delay, but once we boarded it was a short and smooth flight.”

Pros: “Couldn’t ask for more than was offered. Flying is never exactly a pleasant experience, but JAL makes it as painless as possible. The food was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful and professional at all times.”

Pros: “The little touches – the hot mid-flight soup was nice and comforting, the crew was exemplary in their hospitality, the seat was by far the most comfortable economy class seat I have ever sat in.”

Pros: “Everything from booking to landing”

Pros: “Flying JAL is always a pleasure. The flight attendants are absolutely professional and the entertainment system is top notch.”

Pros: “Everything” Cons: “Free WiFi would be nice”

Cons: “Some turbulence woke us up in the middle of a night flight.”

Pros: “Staff took pride in providing excellent service from check-in to landing.” Cons: “Still paying for wifi in 2016”

Pros: “The service was excellent and the seats were really comfortable” Cons: “The food selection was a bit poor”

Pros: “Bathroom is super clean.” Cons: “Maybe you can make some changes to your menu.”

Pros: “Crew was very pleasant, professional and caring.” Cons: “The seating areas could be more comfortable.”

Pros: “Plane is comfortable” Cons: “AA attendants were aloof, too busy talking to notice passengers. The service was slow.

Pros: “The customer service was great and the food was good”

They didn’t let me board because Japan had changed its entry requirements and I wasn’t notified. Had to wait another day, pay rebooking fees and miss my family who I haven’t seen in 4 months. HORRIBLE!!

Cons: “Great flight, smooth sailing – the food is fantastic. I flew economy and got excellent food. The staff are very friendly and the plane was a recent Boeing model, very sleek.”

Pros: “Clean plane and comfortable seats.” Cons: “Additional grab-and-go snack with free drink.”

Pros: “Friendly, helpful, attentive crew; plenty of storage space in business class; very good food with an excellent selection.”

Positive: “Wow! That sums it up. The premium coach was like first class on some other airlines. This is by far the best airline I’ve flown with.” Cons: “The website doesn’t work very well. It’s also difficult to navigate.”

Pros: “ANA was great as always.” Cons: “The United Airlines flight was terrible. Seats were small…legroom not the best. The flight attendants were terrible. I called 3 times to get headphones but they never came to give me any. The food was dry and we were only fed twice. I’m vegan/vegetarian so there weren’t any options.”

Pros: “The seat was uncomfortable, the crew was amazing” Cons: “Comfort in the seat”

Pros: “Total crew members, food, hospitality and aircraft.” Cons: “I’m diabetic and couldn’t get my aisle seat, so I had to wake my passenger on both sides too often. I missed my Hindi movies.”

Cons: “Wonderful food and service”

Pros: “Manila traffic jam, MNL confusion, late check-in but staff got me on the plane.” Then my suitcase was ripped open on the conveyor belt at the Chicago O’Hare and ANA immediately issued me a replacement. Two issues [not their fault] handled beautifully. ANA is truly amazing. Many Thanks !!”

Pros: “The staff at ANA are so friendly and accommodating. When I checked in, the woman at the counter transferred me from the middle to a window seat for free. They were very patient and helpful.” Cons: “The food was a bit odd, I had salmon and rice for ‘breakfast’ with an iceberg lettuce side salad. The salmon chunks were small scraps with an offbeat taste. Not bad but not what I wanted on a long red eye flight. Also, I wish there were more Hollywood movie choices.”

Pros: “The crew was fantastic. Really polite and attentive. I liked that they offered liquids throughout the flight to keep us hydrated. Overall good experience.” Cons: “Entertainment – I didn’t have many films that I liked. The meal was okay.”

Pros: “Service courtesy of staff” Cons: “Gate shuttle boarding from gate to plane was too crowded Climbing to plane was almost a rush”

Pros: “Friendly staff, comfortable seats, opportunity to see new movies, good food.”

Pros: “I got a great value ticket from KAYAK, TQ!! ANA is an excellent airline, better service, better leg room and nicer crew than SQ!! Cons: “Food in flight could be improved”

Pros: “very clean over a 9 hour flight, great seat and flight attendant”

Positive: “I thought it was great that the interior was completely darkened for about seven of the 12 hours of flight time.” Cons: “I just couldn’t get comfortable in Economy Class. Traveling in business or first class was visibly MUCH more comfortable, so be aware that it can be difficult to fall asleep.”

Pros: “The crew is so polite and helpful.”

Pros: “Service is outstanding” Cons: “Business class seats were a bit old”

Pros: “Great service and crew. Boarding was quick and efficient.” Cons: “No personal inflight entertainment, but it wasn’t a problem on such a short flight from Sapporo to Tokyo.”

Pros: “- Airfare – Easy check-in – Friendliness of staff – Airplane is clean” Cons: “- Entertainment options were limited – Food choices also limited – Seats are a bit stiff and small”

Pros: “A smooth, professional crew and their hospitality and especially their smiles and attention to passengers is unparalleled.” Cons: “I’m in flight entertainment seemed a bit limiting to me – updated and new versions may improve my experience.”

Pros: “The plane wasn’t that crowded so I had plenty of room.” Cons: “The seat itself is still uncomfortable to put in the extended position to relax. Also, the headrest doesn’t move very well, making it difficult to find a comfortable head position when trying to sleep. It took the crew forever to get everyone on the plane I have no idea why it took so long considering there are so many people carrying them on the flight. The food wasn’t very good except for the marble bread.”

Pros: “Loved everything about the flight – food was good, plenty of drinks throughout the flight, unlimited movies, smooth takeoff and landing.” Cons: “The flight was delayed an hour, so it was too late to participate in any night activities that were already planned.”

Pros: “Solid service, great comfort and an overall rewarding experience. I am very happy with Ana and look forward to flying with them again next year.”

Pros: “Crew very helpful and reassuring even though the plane was late arriving in Tokyo.” Cons: “Due to snow in the Seattle area, the schedule departed 2 hours late resulting in a short connection time, but all went well.”

Cons: “Check-in at LAX. They form 2 different lines for Economy. The 1st row was lined with the first to arrive. Then the 2nd row started to fill up later. But when the ANA agents came out, they had no idea and serve the line of people arriving later. Should know what they’re doing. Either only 1 line, or if 2 lines, should ask which line comes first. ”

Pros: “The staff was very nice. Service was also very quick.” Cons: “Seats were a bit uncomfortable”

Pros: “The boarding process, on-time departure and in-flight service were all great and it has the on-time arrival.” Cons: “Nothing”

Pros: “The service was fantastic. The flight attendants were very polite; they offered non-stop food, snacks and drinks. Overall, the services provided were great.” Cons: “The temperature inside was overwhelmingly hot, making it impossible to relax. On a crowded plane, such an environment is perfect for customers who contract an upper respiratory tract infection when They need to share the air with others. Please adjust the air temperature. Thank you.”

Positive: “The friendliness of the crews and the cleanliness of the toilets.” Cons: “The delay before launch.”

Pros: “Comfortable. Excellent service.”

Pros: “Flight Attendant Excellent”

Cons: “The food was disappointing for a business class ticket. The seats didn’t recline all the way.”

Pros: “I love the plane itself. It felt like it was new and it was very comfortable.” Cons: “Sometimes I can’t understand the announcements. Probably because of the accent and volume of the voice.”

Cons: “Check in was terrible at TKS, extremely ignorant gate agents, it took 6 people and 1.5 hours to check and pay for the luggage.”

Pros: “Fan tasting service by crew members from check-in. Very attentive to every detail.” Cons: “Nothing”

Pros: “Crew was very polite and everything went smoothly.”

Pros: “Good service.” Cons: “Was put on standby even though I was traveling with my teenage daughter and arrived more than 2 hours before departure! I ended up getting a seat, but that was unnecessarily stressful (there were still some seats left in the store, so they knew I would eventually get a seat. They could have told me I could go at check-in.)

Cons: “The flight attendant named Yoka asked me what I would like to eat??? But she gave my food to someone else and told me they didn’t have it anymore.”

Pros: “Great flight. Plenty of legroom in the Economy section. The flight attendants were polite, helpful and made you feel like their valued customer. Would fly with ANA again if touring their routes.”

Pros: “I’ve flown to Asia many, many times and NH is the best of any airline I’ve used.”

Pros: “Treated with respect and calm.”

Pros: “Premium Economy service and convenience” Cons: “ANA’s food quality has dropped so much. It’s basically as bad as eating together. Very sad.”

Pros: “Nice, friendly staff on the plane. Nice friendly airport staff, albeit very slow and easily confused. Needs more training.” Cons: “Airport check-in was ridiculous! An ANA staff member directs us to a specific counter after we’ve viewed our ENTIRE trip (all 3 segments), only to find out 20 minutes later that we should go to a DIFFERENT counter because our final destination was International (USA). . Also, the boarding passes had to be REPRINTED in Tokyo for some reason. Note: On the way to Okinawa 2 weeks earlier we had similar bad experience but only had to wait 5 minute on the wrong lane. Overall ANA staff is very nice, friendly and smiling but seems to get overwhelmed and confused very easily and ALWAYS needs to do simple tasks that their US counterparts do 3x or 4x FASTER. –> TRAIN your staff at the airport counter more regularly!”

Pros: “Great seats in business class. Lots of privacy. Great service too.” Cons: “The American food could have been better. I haven’t tried the Japanese food.”

Pros: “Crew hospitality on board” Cons: “Poor ground handling by Narita staff. By bus from the terminal to the plane. Mixed with economy passengers. Chaos from the bus to the plane.

Negativ: „Ausgezeichneter Flugservice nein“

Positiv: “Ich liebe die Schnelligkeit der Dienstleistungen, immer mit einem Lächeln!”

Positiv: “Toller Service!” Nachteile: “N/a”

Positiv: “Allgemeiner Service, gute Beinfreiheit.” Negativ: „Wir saßen mit vier Babys im selben Bereich.“

Cons: “They reschudle my flight beaucase I have anxiety. It’s my birthday today. I’m suppose to be in China celebrating me and my grandma’s birthday right now. Apparently anxiety is something that Singapore airline are very concerned about me, that needs a doctor note to prove that I’m okey to fly. poor coummcation skill and power play”

Cons: “It is really good experience. All the flight attendants are good”

Cons: “All good”

Pros: “Crew, plane, punctuality”

Pros: “Friendly staff.” Cons: “Kids’ meal didn’t have fruits. No cellphone charger.”

Pros: “Had good experience on Bangalore sfo return journey. In particular your ground staff and aboard the flight were so warm and receptive. Only thing is that seating in the economy class could a little more better. Thnx SA”

Cons: “cramped uncomfortable seats freezing cold in the plane”

Pros: “great service. new plane. excellent video system.” Cons: “not much to complain about.”

Pros: “Singapore Airlines is my new airline, forget about any other airlines. They have very beautiful service and entertainment. Their staff and one of the best crews ever. I really love it.”

Pros: “Aircraft was OK.” Cons: “Cabin crew service can definitely be better. Should offer more snacks for long flights.”

Pros: “Excellent service, food, in-flight entertainment (what choices!!), and the plane was very up to date as well. Made for a very very pleasant flight experience. Especially for how long the flight was (18 hours or so)” Cons: “The get out and get back in halt at Hong Kong. Practically the entire flight had to do this, quite wasteful. Bad customer experience. Find a better way please! If Hong Kong makes you do that switch over to another airport, better yet make no halt. I have flown direct from SF to Singapore before so not sure why this halt.”

Cons: “Breakfast was pathetic. Not fresh. For 16 hours flight only two meals were served and no snacks were provided”

Pros: “Everything” Cons: “I have no complaint”

Pros: “Everything” Cons: “Cabin too hot”

Pros: “I loved the movie selection and the food options.” Cons: “The woman behind me kept insisting that I keep my chair in the upright position. With two crying babies on the plane, I was trying to relax and sleep as much as possible on the 12.5 hr flight. What bothered me even more is that when the woman asked the flight attendant to tell me to put my seat up, the flight attendant complied instead of telling the woman it was my seat to do as I wished. Why make the seats recline if they are going to bother the people behind? Why tell me to put my seat up if it was not a requirement for all (ie during take off or landing)? I did not appreciate this and it made my flight extremely uncomfortable.”

Pros: “Just as previous reviews mentioned, this is a top notch airline even when flying coach. The staff was courteous and attentive, the food was good and the flight overall was comfortable. I’d fly with Singapore again in a heartbeat.”

Pros: “I like your new entertainment devices and big screen” Cons: “the number of movies is a little bit less. the category of videos is not clear.”

Cons: “delay for 2 hours without notice”

Best fligh

Counter boarding was long and painful

Fine Emirates service, everything you’d expect. Good food and drink, good service, good entertainment. Not the worst seats, for economy class. Only real problem was the lack of mask enforcement. Probably about 5% of passengers didn’t bother, and the crew didn’t do anything to ask them.

Pros: “Great seat with extra legroom, very attentive cabin crew.” Cons: “Boarding”

Pros: “The crew is always great.” Cons: “They can’t really do anything about this, but babies screaming all around me made the flight pretty terrible. Infants shouldn’t be flying. My god”

Pros: “The crew was amazing and their service was very attentive to customers.” Cons: “Not having crying infants onboard”

Cons: “Better inflight entertainment”

Pros: “The food was nice.” Cons: “Emirates should consider stop selling the seat that is just located next to the laboratory. It’s simoly too close to the facility and I could not get good rest at all not to mention about the strange smell.”

Pros: “Upgraded to first class!”

Pros: “Today amazingly the service was too good, the hostesses were coming forward and asking if we needed something and making the journey comfortable.” Cons: “Was nicr”

Pros: “The staff were very attentive and polite at all times!”

Cons: “I do not find anything to complain. My first choice will be Emirates.”

Pros: “Flight was delayed for 6 hours while we are in the plane, on top of my 13 hour flight” Cons: “letting people know that flight will be delayed ahead of time”

Pros: “Smooth flight” Cons: “I wished I was in business class…”

Pros: “entertainment was great!” Cons: “Not much to eat for a vegan.”

Pros: “comfortable seats and entertainment system” Cons: “the food wasn’t so good and I expected more from an Emirates flight”

Cons: “2 hour delay sitting in Bangkok airport due to sick passengers and their luggage getting off”

Pros: “Ladies worked hard” Cons: “I now understand how the chicken and live stock must feel in their cages and stalls. Perhaps the CEO and management staff must be made to take the same flights in the same conditions in so called Economy class. So much greed! Hoping for the day, Air travel becomes obsolete.”

Pros: “Crew service, and service at Emirates lounge in Dubai, were outstanding”

Pros: “I love rraveling eith with Emirates. The seats are comfortable. They have good entertainment system eith a variety of choices. The attendants are polite and respectful and they do an amazing job. The food is good as well.”

Pros: “Good flight and on time.”

Pros: “Boarding was good” Cons: “Peanuts !! Ban them please”

Pros: “I love it all, flight and crew was excellent”

Pros: “Smooth flight” Cons: “The food”

Pros: “Smooth flight” Cons: “The food”

Cons: “The seat was uncomfortable because it did not convert into a completely horizontal bed. The small incline meant that I could not get comfortable and could not sleep. The screens remain on even when passengers go to sleep, making it very bright in the cabin. It would be good if staff could walk through and turn them off manually.”

Cons: “Peanuts should be replaced with snack crackers as so many people can not eat or come in to contact with peanuts, it’s a health hazard and not healthy. Entertainment on board should have background music”

Pros: “www.Web.HR”

Pros: “Everything” Cons: “Nothing”

Cons: “I have no space for my legs ..i have 1.97 cm ..other things are excellent”

Pros: “The food, drinks and entertainment we’re excellent. I also watched the staff caring for another passenger who was frequently summoning them for small requests but the staff was always patient and cheerful with him.”

Pros: “Legroom and how attentive and pleasant the fight crew was.”

Pros: “they serve and ask what it needs to like with smile; thanks for all of anyways.”

Pros: “The food, the crew, the attention to detail.” Cons: “The entertainment interface was average, I’ve seen better.”

Pros: “Everything” Cons: “Nothing”

Pros: “Plane was the old type and not the new one that I got when flying out. Still the seats were comfy and reclined. Also the entertainment system has been updated and was brilliant.” Cons: “The food could have been in more regular intervals. I was very hungry by the time we got the turkey sandwich and chock chip cookie.”

Pros: “The best” Cons: “None”

Pros: “Airbus 380 is my favorite plane; the entertainment selection was very good.” Cons: “Dinner featured a salad of potatoes and green beans and the entree included potatoes and green beans, a repetition that seemed odd. According to the printed menu, the passengers had a choice of lamb or chicken, but I only heard the flight attendant offering chicken – no mention of lamb. The food was much better on the Rome to Dubai leg of our trip, as was the service.”

Pros: “Friendly crew, excellent entertainment”

Pros: “I love the wide variety of beverages. I also enjoyed how many times they passed through the cabin to offer us drinks.” Cons: “I have been on the newer planes and the TV functionality is great. However, the older versions have poor quality TVs with horrible functionality. The touch screen does not respond to your finger and sometimes you can’t even get the remote to work. They definitely need to update the technology on all planes.”

Pros: “Emirates are always very good in every department, unfortunately for the third trip in succession on the outward journey they ran out of the main dish on the dinner menu.”

Cons: “The crew was unfriendly and not very accommodating. They did not respond to the request button and did not bring the water I asked for many times.”

Cons: “Check-in counter staffs in Dubai are poorly trained and do not have service-mind at all.”

Cons: “When it is a very full flight and every seat is needed, the space for passengers is very tight.”

Pros: “Nice flight” Cons: “time delay at Dubai Airport”

Pros: “Too cramped -there was no order while boarding -seats were less spacious -Film was of poor quality and i had to switch off -the buttons were less user friendly”

Pros: “The crew could not tell if the meal. Is nut free. Management should make sure crew know ingredients of meals. Or caterers should specify to aireline and crew members of meals contents.”

Pros: “Overall had a great flight.. Timing was good! Good food and very friendly staff. Love to travel with emirites again.” Cons: “NA”

Pros: “I like that Jet blue offers movies on the flight and that they accepted Emirates international baggage rate without any questions. That was very important.” Cons: “I can’t think of anything negative.”

Is Malaysia a poor country?

Having revised its national poverty line in July 2020, 5.6% of Malaysian households are currently living in absolute poverty. The Government is focused on addressing the well-being of the poorest 40% of the population (“the bottom 40”).

Travel Distance between Los Angeles and Kuala Lumpur

Since gaining independence in 1957, Malaysia has successfully diversified its economy from one originally based on agriculture and commodities to one that is now home to robust manufacturing and service sectors that have made the country a leading exporter of electronic goods. parts and components.

Malaysia is one of the most open economies in the world, with a trade to GDP ratio averaging over 130% since 2010. Openness to trade and investment has been instrumental in job creation and income growth, with around 40% of Malaysia’s jobs related to exports activities are connected. After the 1997-1998 Asian financial crisis, the Malaysian economy has been on an upward trend, averaging 5.4% growth since 2010, and is expected to make the transition from an upper-middle-income economy to a high-income economy by 2024 .

However, the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has had a significant economic impact on Malaysia, particularly on vulnerable households. Following the revision of the national poverty line in July 2020, 5.6% of Malaysian households currently live in absolute poverty. The government focuses on the well-being of the poorest 40% of the population (“the bottom 40”). This low-income group remains particularly vulnerable to economic shocks, as well as rising living costs and mounting financial commitments.

Income inequality in Malaysia remains high compared to other East Asian countries but is gradually decreasing. While the income growth of the bottom 40 has outpaced the top 60 for much of the past decade, the absolute gap between income groups has widened, contributing to the widespread perception that the poor are being left behind. After removing broad-based subsidies, the government has gradually shifted to more targeted measures to support the poor and vulnerable, mainly in the form of cash transfers to low-income households.

Malaysia’s near-term economic outlook will depend more than usual on government action to keep private sector activity going as the shock of COVID-19 reduces export-led growth and exhausted fiscal space limits public investment-led expansion. Longer term, incremental growth will depend less on factor accumulation and more on increasing productivity to sustain higher potential growth as Malaysia converges with high-income economies. Productivity growth in Malaysia, while significant, has been below that of several global and regional peers over the past 25 years. Ongoing reform efforts to address key structural obstacles will be crucial to support and sustain Malaysia’s development trajectory.

According to the World Bank’s Human Capital Index, Malaysia is ranked 55th out of 157 countries. To realize its full human potential and meet the country’s aspiration to achieve high-income and developed country status, Malaysia needs to make further progress in education, health and nutrition, and social protection. Key priority areas include improving the quality of school education to improve learning outcomes, rethinking nutritional interventions to reduce child stunting, and providing adequate social protection for household investment in human capital formation.

summary

This quiz will show you the name of a country. You must decide whether it is in the northern hemisphere or the southern hemisphere. (There will be no tricks with countries touching the equator.)

Malaysia, a member of the Commonwealth, represents the political union of areas formerly under British rule. When it was incorporated on September 16, 1963, Malaysia comprised the territories of Malaya (now Peninsular Malaysia), the island of Singapore, and the colonies of Sarawak and Sabah in northern Borneo. In August 1965, Singapore seceded from the federation and became an independent republic.

Malaysia , a country in Southeast Asia , lies north of the equator and consists of two non-contiguous regions: Peninsular Malaysia (Semenanjung Malaysia), also known as West Malaysia (Malaysia Barat), which is located in the Malay Peninsula, and East Malaysia (Malaysia Timur), the located on the island of Borneo. The Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur is located in the western part of the peninsula, about 40 km from the coast; The administrative center of Putrajaya is about 25 km south of the capital.

country

Peninsular Malaysia occupies most of the southern part of Peninsular Malaysia. To the north it borders Thailand, with which it shares a land border of approximately 300 miles (480 km). To the south, at the tip of the peninsula, lies the island republic of Singapore, to which Malaysia is linked by a causeway and also by its own bridge. To the southwest, across the Strait of Malacca, lies the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. East Malaysia is made up of the country’s two largest states, Sarawak and Sabah, and is separated from Peninsular Malaysia by approximately 400 miles (640 km) of the South China Sea. These two states occupy roughly the northern quarter of the big island of Borneo and share a land border with the Indonesian part (Kalimantan) of the island to the south. Surrounded by Sarawak is a small coastal enclave that contains the Sultanate of Brunei. Of the country’s total area, which includes about 265 square miles (690 square kilometers) of inland waters, Peninsular Malaysia accounts for about 40 percent and East Malaysia for about 60 percent.

Relief The long, narrow and rugged Malay Peninsula extends to the south and south-west of Myanmar and Thailand. The Malaysian portion of it is about 500 miles (800 km) long and – at its widest east-west axis – about 200 miles (320 km) wide. About half of Peninsular Malaysia is covered by granite and other igneous rocks, a third is covered by stratified rocks older than the granite, and the remainder is covered by alluvium. At least half of the land area is more than 150 meters above sea level. Get a Britannica Premium subscription and get access to exclusive content. Subscribe now Peninsular Malaysia is dominated by its mountainous core, which consists of a series of roughly parallel mountain ranges oriented north-south. The most famous of these is the Main Range, which is approximately 300 miles (480 km) long and has peaks in excess of 7,000 feet (2,100 meters). Karst landscapes – limestone hills with characteristically steep, off-white sides, stunted vegetation, caves formed by dissolving water and underground passages – are prominent landmarks of central and northern peninsular Malaysia. Bordering the mountainous core is the coastal lowland, 10 to 50 miles (15 to 80 km) wide along the west coast of the peninsula, but narrower and discontinuous along the east coast. East Malaysia is an elongated strip of land about 700 miles (1,125 km) long and about 170 miles (275 km) wide at maximum. The 1,400-mile (2,250 km) coastline will be paralleled inland by a 900-mile (1,450 km) border with Kalimantan. The relief consists of three topographical features over most of its length. The first is the flat coastal plain. In Sarawak, where the coast is regular, the plain averages 30–60 km wide, while in Sabah, where the coast is rugged and deeply indented, it is only 15–30 km) wide. Inland from the coastal plain lies the second topographical feature, the hills and valleys region. Elevations are generally less than 300 meters (1,000 ft), but individual clusters of hills reach elevations of 750 meters (2,500 ft) or more. The terrain in this region is usually irregular, with steep hills and narrow valleys. The third topographical feature is the mountainous backbone that forms the divide between East Malaysia and Kalimantan. This region, which is higher and closer to the coast in Sabah than in Sarawak, consists of an eroded and ill-defined complex of plateaus, canyons, canyons and mountain ranges. Most of the peaks in the mountain ranges are between 4,000 and 7,000 feet (1,200 and 2,100 meters). Mount Kinabalu towers over this mountain complex; At 4,101 meters (13,455 feet), it is the highest peak in Malaysia and the entire Southeast Asian archipelago.

Drainage Peninsular Malaysia is drained by an intricate system of rivers and streams. The longest river – the Pahang – is only 434 km long. Because of the constant rainfall, the streams flow year-round, but the amount of water transported varies with the localized and torrential nature of the rainfall. Prolonged rains often cause flooding, especially in areas where the natural regime of the rivers has been disturbed by uncontrolled mining or agricultural activities. As in Peninsular Malaysia, East Malaysia’s drainage pattern is determined by the interior highlands, which also forms the watershed between Malaysia and Indonesia. The rivers, which are also perennial because of the year-round rainfall, form a dense network that covers the entire region. The longest river in Sarawak, the Rajang is about 350 miles (563 km) long and navigable by shallow-draft boats for about 150 miles (240 km) from its mouth. its Sabah counterpart, the Kinabatangan, is of comparable length but is navigable only about 120 miles (190 km) from its mouth. The rivers provide a means of communication between the coast and the interior, and historically most settlements took place along the rivers.
