What is best teeth whitening method?

Professional teeth whitening

Professional (in-office) teeth whitening is the fastest and most effective teeth whitening option. The procedure takes only up to an hour and can whiten your teeth two to eight shades lighter, with results that last up to five years.

Tooth Gem Technician Training

There are many teeth whitening methods on the market that you can choose from to brighten your smile. These include whitening toothpastes, natural teeth whiteners, over-the-counter whitening strips, teeth whitening trays and gels, and professional teeth whitening. Read on to learn the pros and cons of each method.

1. Whitening toothpastes

All toothpastes help remove surface stains from coffee, tea, and other habits, but whitening toothpastes contain additional chemicals that help whiten teeth. Whitening toothpastes are meant for everyday use and can take weeks to see the desired results. It’s important to remember that while this method is somewhat effective, whitening toothpastes largely rely on abrasives to polish the teeth, which can wear away tooth enamel.

2. Natural teeth whiteners

Natural teeth whiteners include baking soda, charcoal, apple cider vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and even strawberries. Natural teeth whiteners are readily available and inexpensive. However, the success of some of these methods, such as apple cider vinegar, strawberries, and charcoal, depend on acids and abrasives, which can remove surface enamel and accelerate the aging of your teeth. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide can be used occasionally to give teeth an extra shine, but overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity. In summary, natural teeth whiteners are only recommended for occasional use as they can do more harm than good and therefore will not drastically whiten your teeth.

3. Over-the-counter whitening strips

Whitening strips are available at most drug stores, are inexpensive, and are one of the most popular methods of whitening teeth. Depending on the strength of the peroxide in the strips, it can take seven days or more to see results. The results are also short-lived, lasting anywhere from six months to a year. Therefore, this method can be good for a special occasion, but it is not a long-term solution.

4. Bleaching trays and gels

Whitening trays and gels can be purchased either over the counter or from your dentist. This method goes beyond removing superficial stains and focuses on lightening the overall color, therefore it is more effective for teeth whitening than the above methods. Depending on the strength of the peroxide in the gel, it can take anywhere from three days to weeks to see results. Over-the-counter splints are one-size-fits-all and could result in the gel coming in contact with your gums, causing irritation and sensitivity. Trays and gels purchased from your dentist are safer and provide faster results because the trays are custom fitted to your teeth by the dentist and the gels contain stronger bleaching agents.

5. Professional teeth whitening

Professional teeth whitening (in-office) is the fastest and most effective teeth whitening option. The procedure only takes up to an hour and can whiten your teeth by two to eight shades lighter, with results that last up to five years. Professional teeth whitening is the most expensive option, but the immediate and drastic results are worth it.

If you are interested in buying your own teeth jewellery, we will help you choose the best products for your budget. But before we dive into some of the most frequently asked questions about dental gems, let’s address the biggest concern most people have when considering dental jewelry for the first time:

What is tooth jewellery?

A dental gem is a piece of jewelry that can be placed on your teeth by a dentist, dental hygienist, qualified tattoo artist, or participating beauty salon. As dental gemstone professionals, their only goal is to ensure your jewelry is placed correctly; Tartar is temporary, does not cause permanent damage to your teeth, and can be easily and painlessly removed at a dentist’s office. Plus, they’re beautiful to look at and add a touch of sparkle to your smile!

Our dental gems are made from solid gold, real diamonds and sapphires and feature different shapes and symbols. We also offer high quality Swarovski brand crystals intended for oral use. They contain no toxic metals such as lead or nickel and come in a variety of colors and sizes.

Fun Fact: Tooth gems can last a long time! We have clients who have been wearing their tooth jewels for over 20 years, but you can change them at the dentist’s office if you want a new design.

How much does tooth jewelry cost?

As with many forms of jewelry, the cost of tooth jewelry can vary depending on the materials used. Tooth gemstones cost can range from $31 to over $100 for high quality metals and crystals; This does not include the cost of visiting a qualified clinic to have the jewelry placed on your teeth.

Some tooth gemstones offered by other suppliers are made of inferior material, which can cause problems if worn for a long time. That’s why we are committed to selling high quality solid gold dental gems with no lead or nickel to protect your oral health and promote a beautiful smile. We also know that you shouldn’t do this yourself with just any glue – a professional dental clinic uses high quality glue that will not damage your teeth or harm your oral health in the long run.

If you pay attention to your oral health and have your teeth cleaned regularly, there is no reason why you should not enjoy your tooth jewelry for years!

Do you offer a course without a Pro Kit?

Yes! You can take the Tooth Gem Training Course without getting a full Pro Kit. It comes with a class training kit only which includes 1 LED curing lamp with charger and protective shield and dental quality connection materials. This course can be taken in person or online and costs $1750.

Do I need any special certifications or licenses before I can take the course?

No, certification is not required to become a dental gemstone technician, nor are there any state or federal requirements, but you must check and confirm the laws in your city, state or country to ensure you are following all rules and Regulations for conducting this and any other type of business. We offer a training course to obtain a certificate of completion certifying that you have been trained in using the correct techniques, tools and adhesives to successfully and safely apply tooth jewelry. By the end of our course, you will indeed be a Certified Tooth Couture® Dental Gem Technician, as you will be “officially recognized as possessing specific qualifications or meeting specific standards” as required to work with Tooth Couture® products and services.
