اللّّهُمّّ أأسْأْأ ا ا وَوَ وَالتُّقُّق وَالْ
The following supplication is narrated from Qutb al-Din al-Hanafi in his Kitab Ad’iyat al-Hajj wa al-‘Umra and is attributed to Hasan al-Basri.
“O Allah, I ask Your forgiveness for every sin where I have put my base desire before Your obedience and my passion at Your command – so I have contented myself with Your wrath and submitted to Your displeasure, even though You are had forbidden me. put before me Your admonition and established the proof for me by Your warnings [of the punishment in Your revelations]. I ask your forgiveness O Allah and I repent. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Pornography and masturbation are evil and heinous sins that ruin a person’s life. One is deprived of the sweetness of iman. His heart and soul become dull and develop an aversion to Ibadah and a closeness to Allah Ta’āla.
Allah Ta’ala says:
إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ (يوسف: ٥٣)
Translation: Verily the nafs incite to evil. (Yusuf: 53)
The example of one’s craving (nafs) is like a little child; it always demands to get what it wants. The child’s parents know what is beneficial for the child and what is not. They don’t grant the child whatever it wants, even if the child is screaming or crying. Rather, they take action to discipline the child. They make him a respectable person with good qualities. Likewise, we must refine our own craving (nafs) and not allow it whatever it wants.
If one can control his desires and does not give in to his desires, he will attain the sweetness of iman and attain a high rank in the hereafter.
Remember that the ever-watchful Allah Ta’āla knows the innermost regions of our hearts even when no human eye is watching us. One should fear that no deeds will be neglected on the Day of Judgment, and that even one’s own eyes will testify against him on the Day of Judgment.
The negative consequences of pornography use are too many to mention. In short, it robs one of true human values and spirituality. The real life and essence of Iman are lost.
Below are some recipes that may help you solve your problem:
Ø Stay away from all those ways that spur your carnal desires such as B. immoral friends, malls, beaches, etc.
Ø Protect yourself from the evil eye on non-mahram women.
Ø You should not access the Internet unless there is a real need to do so.
Ø You cannot put butter in a hot pan and expect it not to melt, nor can you touch an electrical cord and expect not to get electrocuted. Similarly, if you access immoral websites, you must fall into sins.
Ø Try to keep your computer or similar devices in a place where everyone can see what you are doing. Turn off the devices when you feel the urge to commit sins.
Ø Don’t stay alone.
Ø Visit the mosque and the society of pious people. Identify a spiritual leader and benefit from their spirituality.

Finally, keep making dua to Allah Ta’āla to help you abstain from such sins. Repent to Allah as much as possible. Refraining from sins may be extremely difficult at first, but after constant struggle and punishment of one’s cravings, one’s cravings will finally be controlled and you will find joy in refraining from sins. Turn to Allah, the Wise, Almighty. Indeed, Allah Ta’ala will help the person who aspires to draw closer to Him.
ي يا أأيُُّّا اآمَنُو سْ سْ ِينُواْ بِالصصبْرِ وَالصّل imp the
Translation: O you who believe, seek help through patience and prayer. Verily, Allah is with those who are patient. (Al-Baqarah: 153)
Moreover, Allah Ta’ala has also promised relief after these difficulties.
Allah Ta’ala says:
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا. إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (الشرح: ٦،٥)
Translation: Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. (Al Sharh: 5:6)

Fasting would be helpful in controlling your inner desires and strengthening your will. If you can’t fast, don’t eat much or at least don’t overload your stomach before bed.
