Enter your Apple ID details

Here’s part 2 (still on desktop):

Is there an Android version of Game Pigeon?

Unable to download Game Pigeon from Google Play Store. However, there are a few alternatives for Android users. Most of them are free, which is a plus.

I’ve discussed 4 popular options below.

Plato is an SMS app with built-in games. You can send game invites to individuals or play with groups.

It comes with enough titles to give GamePigeon a run for its money. Some of them are Chess, Bounce, Ludo, Ocho, Bingo and Sea Battle.

You can download Telegram X from both Google and Apple app stores. Use it to text others and play games.

Of all the options on my list, this has the largest game selection. Once you find a title you like from the library, you need to download it. The other player would have to download it as well. After that, send them an invite.

Hago is one of the most popular GamePigeon substitutes out there. You can connect with users from all over the world. What is great is that there is also a voice chat function. You can throw voice parties while having fun with your friends.

You get an extensive library. There are over 80 titles from different genres.

Hago has a special feature that allows you to find users in your area. Just go to settings and open location option.

Everyone had a Facebook account at least once. Most people use it to keep in touch with people they know. You can also play on it.

Facebook’s game selection is impressive. You can either play alone or with friends.

Also, you can play with others regardless of whether they have an Android or iOS device.

How do I get iMessage on my Android?

Remember that WeMessage app I mentioned earlier? If you download it, you can access iMessage. However, there are other great options as well. AirMessage is one of them. I’ve discussed how you can use it below. The process is again multi-stage. You will also need a Mac computer.

Part 1 (on a Mac):

Go to the Apple ID website, open an account, and then link it to your phone number

Open your System Preferences and sign in to your Apple ID account; Click System Preferences and tap Sign In at the top right

Go to the Apple ID menu, then click Name, Phone, Email on the left sidebar

Tap the plus sign under the Reachable heading

Tap Phone number and then enter yours

Enter the code sent to your Android smartphone

Open the Messages app on your desktop and sign in to your Apple ID account

Part 2 (still on your Mac):

Go to the AirMessage website, and then click Download

Unzip the file and then send it to the application folder

Open AirMessage and create an account. You’ll need to grant it disk access if you haven’t already

Make sure your desktop doesn’t fall asleep. Go to System Settings > Battery and turn off this feature

Part 3 (on your smartphone):

Install the AirMessage file

Sign in to the same account you set up on your desktop

On the main page, tap the blue chat icon

Enter an iOS device number that you want to send a text message to

Accept the pop-up that appears

You can now send and receive iMessages to iOS users whenever you want.

Can I download iPhone apps on my Mac?

As long as you’re running macOS 11Big Sur or newer, you can download and install iPhone and iPad apps onto your Mac. Before you can run an iPhone or iPad app on your Mac or MacBook, you’ll first need to download it from Apple’s App Store.

Play games on your Mac

If you own a Mac with Apple Silicon (such as the M1 processor), you no longer need to take out your iPhone or iPad to run some of your favorite mobile apps. As long as you’re running macOS 11Big Sur or later, you can download and install iPhone and iPad apps on your Mac.

Before you can run an iPhone or iPad app on your Mac or MacBook, you must first download it from Apple’s App Store.

RELATED: Macs Run iPhone and iPad Apps: Here’s How It Will Work

First, click the Launchpad icon in your computer’s Dock.

Then click on the “App Store” button. If you can’t find it, use the search bar at the top of the bat to find the app.

Alternatively, you can use Apple’s built-in Spotlight search to open the app. The easiest way to do this is to press Cmd+Space on your keyboard. The search dialog will appear in the middle of your screen. Type “App Store” and select the first entry.

You can now type the iPhone or iPad app name into the search bar in the top-left corner of the window.

You won’t immediately see the app you’re looking for — that’s because the App Store only shows Mac apps by default. Click the iPhone & iPad Apps list to switch views.

If the iPhone or iPad app developer chose to make their mobile app available on the Mac, it will now appear on the results page.

Info: You’ll need to authenticate yourself—either with your MacBook’s TouchID fingerprint sensor or with your Apple ID password—when you download the app for the first time and see the “Get” button. The cloud icon indicates that you have previously downloaded the app on one of your devices and no authentication is required.

Click the “Get” or “Download” button (which looks like a cloud icon) to start the download process.

Once the iPhone or iPad app is installed on your Mac, select the “Open” button. The app opens in its own window and runs like any other application developed for your Mac.

Later, after closing the App Store, you can open and run the iPhone or iPad app on your Mac by finding it in Launchpad or using Spotlight search like we did above.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there are no Macs with touchscreens. You must interact with any app or game you download using your trackpad, mouse, or keyboard.

Can MacBook air play games?

The MacBook Air wasn’t designed as a gaming laptop. While you might be able to run lightweight or cloud games on it just fine, depending on it for intensive, triple-A ones locally could be challenging. This Mac is better suited for students and those working in fields that don’t require extraordinary computing powers.

Is the Apple MacBook Air M2 (2022) suitable for gaming?

Apple introduced the MacBook Air (2022) during WWDC22. The reveal came alongside that of macOS Ventura – further unleashing the Mac lineup and its potential. Considering that this new MacBook Air packs the M2 chip, you might want to check out the best apps for Apple silicon. Speaking of Apple silicon, you have to be wondering how well the M2 performs in the gaming department when put in a MacBook Air. There’s no short answer as to whether or not this notebook is good for gaming – as it really depends on multiple factors and what you would define as gaming. Here’s what you need to know about this topic.

XDA VIDEO OF THE DAY

Is the MacBook Air M2 suitable for gaming?

Triple-A (AAA) games

If you want to play newly released AAA games on your M2 MacBook Air, you may encounter some issues. One of the biggest could be possible overheating. The MacBook Air is not equipped with fans. So while the M2 chip is powerful and all, it could overheat if it’s pressured with intense tasks. If you really want to game on a MacBook, consider some of the more powerful ones like the MacBook Pro (2021). If you don’t mind using Windows, here are the best gaming laptops.

Apple arcade and mobile games

Apple Arcade is available on macOS. This means you can play a variety of ad-free games on your Mac for a monthly fee. If you’re aiming for these types of games, the MacBook Air M2 is excellent for it. That’s because most of the included games were originally developed for iOS and iPadOS. As a result, they don’t require many resources to run.

As you may know, Apple Silicon Macs can run iOS and iPadOS games – provided the developers don’t block it. So if you plan on downloading mobile games from the App Store, then the MacBook Air M2 is a solid laptop for that too. The same applies to online games offered via web apps that you play in your browser.

cloud gaming

If you want to play games through cloud services like Google Stadia, Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce Now, or other similar products, the MacBook Air is a solid laptop for the task. That’s because it only processes your input while the games are streamed live from the cloud. So the M2 chip won’t do the heavy lifting. However, it’s worth noting that you’ll need to purchase a separate dongle to connect an Ethernet cable to it.

The MacBook Air was not designed as a gaming laptop. While you might be able to easily run light or cloud gaming on it, depending on that, heavy triple-A gaming could be a challenge locally. This Mac is better suited for students and those who work in fields that don’t require exceptional computing power. Nonetheless, it officially supports some Xbox and PlayStation controllers, so you don’t have to stick to the trackpad and keyboard if you decide to play on them.

Where can you get GamePigeon?

GamePigeon on the App Store.

Is GamePigeon a safe app?

Predators who “meet” kids in one place can suggest playing a GamePigeon game, which gives them access to your child’s phone number and moves their interaction to a private text chat. Parents should make sure their kids are aware of this potential danger if they’re going to use the app.

Play games on your Mac

Children have easy access to certain online platforms and apps that are considered warning signs of dangerous activity – either because criminals lurk there, extremists use them to spread radicalization materials, they are used to hide other apps, or because they are breeding grounds for inappropriate activities content.

However, it is almost impossible for parents to keep track – on average 100,000 Android apps and 30,000 new iOS (Apple) apps are released every month. How are we supposed to keep track of which ones are okay for our kids and which ones are almost certainly not?

That’s why we’ve compiled a list of potentially problematic apps that parents should watch out for. If you find any in your child’s browsing history or installed on their phone or other device, use the information below to start a conversation about why the app or website might be inappropriate. Then decide together whether to delete it or not.

Apps that may reveal personal information

Nowadays it seems like almost every app collects some level of personal information, but parents should be aware of which apps may expose this information to the public. Here are some of the most popular among children:

Zoomerang: This E for Everyone rated video maker is popular with kids to edit videos for other platforms like Instagram or Tik Tok. It does use location tracking, however, which can allow predators viewing your child’s videos to figure out where they are. Screengrabs of the videos can also be easily cropped and used out of context for online bullying.

GamePigeon: While this simple gaming app has many good features, it’s only available in Apple’s messaging (SMS) app. Predators who “meet” children at a location may suggest playing a GamePigeon game, which will grant them access to your child’s phone number and shift their interaction to a private text chat. Parents should ensure their children are aware of this potential danger when using the app.

Bigo Live: This live streaming app is suitable for people over the age of 17, but the users’ age is not verified. You must share personal information in order to open an account that will allow the app to track your child. There are also many reports of bullying, nudity, violence and predatory comments.

Live.Me: Another live streaming video app, this one uses geolocation when posting videos, allowing users to find out the exact location of a minor.

Snapchat: The photos and videos shared via Snapchat should disappear as soon as they are viewed, or within 24 hours. This fact can leave children vulnerable to pressures to share compromising photos, which are simply recorded on the screen or saved to the recipient’s camera roll (to be used for bullying or harassment). Snapchat also shares your location by default.

Yubo: This app is styled similar to Tinder where people (including kids) can swipe right to connect. You must allow geotagging for the app to work — and there are no privacy options.

Toxic online communities

These sites have a reputation for allowing cultures of hate and intolerance to thrive. They are also known for spreading online campaigns of disinformation and harassment. If your child is part of these communities, that’s a big red flag that you should take a closer look at.

Sites promoting extremist ideas

Some corners of the internet are known places for extremists and predators to find vulnerable individuals to manipulate and bully. This is where children can encounter problems when they are cared for by sex offenders or fall prey to white supremacist propaganda. That said, they’re not all bad, and kids can often find fun or useful content there too. If your child uses any of the following websites, talk to them about staying safe online and identifying extremist activity.

Apps and websites with limited moderation

Many of these sites offer extremely limited moderation of content or comment and discussion, often relying on users to report problematic things they see. Because there is so little oversight, these spaces are often used to spread hate speech, misinformation, bullying, and extremist content.

Tellonym, YOLO, Lipsi or Ask.fm: With these apps, children can ask and answer questions anonymously. With no way of tracing content, things like bullying, sexual content, and violent threats are common.

IMVU: This is a virtual world game, but it includes a Chat Now feature that randomly matches users in private chats where children can be bullied, persuaded to share phone numbers, or asked to send photos. Avatars created for the game are highly sexualized, allowing characters to have “virtual sex”.

Camsurf, Coco, Chitter, Chatspin, Gaze, Chatous, Omegle, Kik, HOLLA: Each of these apps (and there are many others) instantly connects users with strangers via a combination of text, video and/or voice – an obvious problem when it does is about children. Many allow location tracking to find people nearby, and have reports of young teens being paired with much older children (or adults posing as children).

Minds: This is a social media platform meant for content creation, but also allows you to “connect with people from all over the world who value freedom of speech and have strong opinions.” Users report that they have trouble muting others who they find offensive or aggressive in the “uncensored” chat threads.

Riot Chat/Element Messenger: Riot was an open source messaging app that changed its name to Element in July 2020. Their chat app says it’s designed for teleworkers to call, text, and video chat, but of course the encryption doesn’t cover business interactions either.

Rocket Chat: Similar to Element Messenger.

World of Warcraft: This Game has robust player communities where harassment, hostility, and extremist ideas against LGBTQ people permeate.

Apps and services that keep online activities private

The following apps use encryption and other privacy technologies to keep their activities private. If your child uses any of these, be sure to find out why – there aren’t many legitimate reasons for kids to use these, so they’re often a sign of trouble.

The app was first released on September 13, 2016, coinciding with the launch of iOS 10.[3] The app was released for free, although it contains in-app purchases to unlock additional items such as cosmetic skins, avatar items, and an option to remove ads.[4]

Games in the app[edit]

The following is a list of games that users can play within GamePigeon:

Sources:[5][6][7]

Poker was one of the games included with GamePigeon’s launch,[8] although it has since been removed and is no longer listed in the game’s App Store description.[5]

Reception [edit]

GamePigeon has enjoyed commercial success, with VentureBeat noting that GamePigeon was ranked number one in the iMessage App Store’s Top Free category six months after its release.[9] Crucially, GamePigeon was generally well received, which was highlighted by online media publications shortly after the launch of iOS 10.[10] It has since been included in many “best iMessage apps” lists.[3][7][9] Based on over 88,000 reviews, the game has a 4.2 out of 5 rating on the App Store.[5] Digital Trends’ Julian Chokkattu wrote, “GamePigeon was intended to be like the pre-installed versions of Solitaire and Minesweeper that used to come with older versions of Windows.”[7] On the day of its release, Boy Genius Report included it on a list of “10 of the best iMessage apps, games, and stickers for iOS 10 on launch day.”[2] The Daily Dot wrote, “GamePigeon is by far the best current gaming option within iMessages.”[3]

8-ball and cup pong have been particularly well received by the media.[11] The Daily Dot particularly praised the app’s billiards game: “8-Ball is terrifyingly smooth to control with your fingers, and there’s nothing like destroying a dear friend while playing poker.”[3] During his 2020 US presidential campaign, Cory Booker cites like playing the game with his family.[12]

In 2017, CNBC quoted a teenager as expressing that GamePigeon is one of only a few reasons people in her age group use the iMessage app.[13] The game has been particularly well received because it allows introverts to engage in a formal social activity. Similarly, the game has been highlighted as a way to maintain social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.[6][14][15]

Influence[ edit ]

Snapchat released an in-message gaming app called Snapchat Games.[16]

As an April Fool’s joke, The Chronicle, a Duke University newspaper, reported that Duke’s athletic program has made Cup Pong an official varsity sport.[17]

To do this, open the Messages app and go to a conversation with any contact.

On the Apps line at the bottom (below the text box), tap the App Store icon.

This will open the App Store for iMessage.

You can install the GamePigeon app by scrolling down to the Top Free section (the app is generally listed at the top of this section) and then tapping the download icon (the one with the down arrow pointing away from a cloud) . When installing the GamePigeon app for the first time, you will need to tap on the “Get” option instead.

Alternatively, you can use the search function in the App Store and then tap the download icon to reinstall the app on your iPhone.

next → ← prev How to play iMessage games on Android phone Are you looking for some tricks or a way to play iMessage games on Android? Here you will learn the ways and tricks to play iMessage games on Android. Since iMessage is a product of Apple iOS family, it is officially not possible to play iMessage games on Android directly. But all thanks to developers who create alternative apps and tricks that you can use to fulfill your desire to play iMessage games on Android. iMessage is an instant messaging service app from Apple for its iOS devices (iPhone) that allows you to send text, audio, and video messages to other iPhone, iPad, etc. devices. After the first launch of the iMessage app, it goes through various updates and makes crucial changes to engage its users. Such recent update of this app is allowed to play games on it. If you don’t have an iPhone device, there are still alternative ways to play iMessage games on your Android phone. Is it possible to play iMessage games on Android? You cannot directly access the iMessage app on your Android smartphone due to various reasons. Apple devices have a special security system to protect their users’ text messages and other data that they send and receive. The device sending the messages and the device receiving them are all end-to-end encrypted. All messages you send are encrypted using the Apple security system in the iMessage app. It is only possible to run iMessage on an (Apple) device that knows the decryption for these messages. While it is not directly possible to play iMessage games on Android device, there are alternative methods that you can use to play these games on Android phone. By using the weMessage application, you can enjoy all the features on Android that iMessages offers. The “weMessage” application is a hybrid of the iMessage cloud messaging system that runs on Android smartphones. To run the weMessage app to use the iMessage feature on Android you need an Apple Mac device to function. The Mac device acts as a server, so the “weMessage” app allows you to use iMessage on your Android. You can use almost all features of iMessage in weMessage including sending text, group chats, content blocking, notifications, DND feature and most importantly, playing iMessage games. Requirements to Play iMessage Games on Android Device You need some things to play iMessage games on Android phone. First, download and install the weMessage app on your Android phone by keeping the following important points in mind: An Apple ID that you use to access your iMessage app.

A Mac device running macOS 10.10 or later, as using weMessage on your Android phone requires the Mac to be running a program.

Download and install Java 7 or later on your Mac device.

Android smartphone with Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher.

You need to install the weMessage app on your Android device. As discussed above, iMessage does not work on Android devices as it is a cross-platform product (Apple iOS); and works on iOS and macOS devices. To use iMessage on your Android phone, you need to use macOS to streamline the process. All your messages will be forwarded from Android to iOS device in two steps. In the first step, the messages are sent to the “weMessage” program (server) and in the next step, these messages are passed to iMessage for sending on macOS and Android devices. weMessage server is a suitable application for macOS. However, all these messages are encrypted using the Apple security system. Steps to run “weMessage” application to play iMessage games on Android phones Since iMessage games officially cannot be played on Android phones, developers implement an alternative tool, weMessage, which is iMessage’s closed messaging system enabled on Android devices. weMessage app supports all features offered by iMessage including group chats, DND, notifications, attachments and more. To run weMessage to play iMessage games, follow the steps given below. First, download and install a Java SE Development Kit in your Mac OS to provide terminal rights for your server by changing your system setting. To install Java on your Mac, see Installing Java on Mac article. Now download and install the “weMessage” app on your Android phone. Also visit wemessageapp.com and download the weServer zip file for your Mac device. Extract the “weServer” zip file and you will find a “run.command” file. Double click on it to start weServer.

Next, provide your official iMessage email address to associate the app with iMessage. However, it is recommended to choose a new secure password to avoid security issues. The “weMessage” app is installed and set up on your Android phone. Now you can start its text services immediately. You can also add your contacts to weMessage individually if you wish.

Note the following points to use weMessage on your Android device without any problems. Visit the Google Play Store and install the “weMessage” app on your Android phone. After installation, start the weMessage app on your Android. Click the Next button to continue and if asked for permission, grant access to your messages. If required, you need to toggle the “Allow system settings to be changed” toggle next to the weMessage app. You need a Mac IP address to connect the weMessage app to your device. If you are already running weMessage server on your Mac and both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, the weMessage Android app will automatically connect to your Mac. You can also manually specify the Mac’s IP address in the Android app to connect. To enter the IP address manually, navigate to System Preferences > Your Network > Advanced, TCP/IP. Here you can find Mac IP address in IPv4 address. Enter the Mac IP address, your email address and password in the weMessage Android app and tap Sign in.

After you’ve got everything set up correctly, log into the app to go to the conversations page. Now you can access iMessage messaging service on your Android. You can send and receive text, audio, video messages, etc. to and from your Android device on iMessage on iPhone or iPad. Remember that you need to connect your Android phone and Mac OS to the same Wi-Fi network to make them work together. An alternative tool to “weMessages” to use iMessage games on Android devices is the PieMessage app (project). PieMessage is another alternative app that you can use to run iMessage services on Android. For the most part, the app works in a similar way to the “weServer”. This application uses your Mac device as a server to process iMessages from your Android phone to your iOS device and vice versa. This way you get all iMessage features on your Android device. PieMessage Setup Requirements Before you start setting up the PieMessage project to access iMessage features on your Android phone, you need the following requirements: Mac OSX device.

The public IP address for Mac OSX devices.

iCloud account with iMessage enabled.

Android phone with version 4.0+.

Java JDK tool. IntelliJ IDEA

Android Studio Below are the steps to install and set up the PieMessage app on your Android device: Visit GitHub and download the PieMessage project. From here you can download the PieMessage APK file and install it on your Android device. Go to the Apps menu section and open the messaging app on your iPhone. Now connect your iCloud account to your message. To do this, navigate to Messages > Settings > Accounts. Copy the PieMessage project to your OSX device. Edit the “socketAddress” value in PieOSXClient/src/Constants.java, replacing it with the IP address of your public OSX device. After you have made all the settings, move the “message.applescript” to your home directory (/Users/). Open the JavaWebServer/ in the IntelliJ tool and run the server class. Open the PieOSXClient/ as a project in IntelliJ and run the PieOSXClient class. Finally, open the PieMessage Android/ as a project in your Android Studio tool. After that, you can compile an APK file on any Android device to install and access it. Can I use iMessage with Android?

While iMessage can’t work on Android devices, iMessage does work on both iOS and macOS. It’s the Mac compatibility that matters most here. weMessage is a program for Mac that routes messages through the iMessage network.

Play games on your Mac

One of the main differences between iPhone and Android is that Android devices cannot use iMessage. That’s true, but if you have the right software, the right computer, and some technical savvy, or at least a willingness to experiment, it’s actually possible to set up iMessage for your Android phone.

These instructions will only work if you have access to a Mac device and your Android phone is running Android 5.0 or later. You are using software that has not gone through the typical Apple approval process. While there is nothing wrong with that, you must trust the developer of the software not to betray your trust.

Why you usually can’t use iMessage on Android

You usually can’t use iMessage on Android because Apple uses a special end-to-end encryption system in iMessage that secures the messages from the device they’re sent on, through Apple’s server, to the device that receives them. Because the messages are encrypted, the iMessage network can only be used by devices that know how to decrypt the messages.

apple inc

Apple keeps iMessage and all its cool effects and features, including iMessage apps, exclusive to devices running iOS and macOS to entice people to buy its products. For this reason, there is no iMessage for Android app available in the Google Play Store.

However, there is a way to bypass Apple’s control over iMessage: a program called weMessage.

What you need to use weMessage

To be able to use weMessage, you need the following:

An iMessage account: This is likely your existing Apple ID.

A Mac with macOS 10.10 (Yosemite) or higher: Using weMessage requires a program to be running on your Mac.

Java 7 or later installed on your Mac.

An Android phone running Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher.

The weMessage app installed on your Android phone.

Here’s how weMessage lets you use iMessage on Android

Maddy Price/Lifewire

While iMessage doesn’t work on Android devices, iMessage works on both iOS and macOS. It’s Mac compatibility that matters most here. weMessage is a program for Mac that routes messages through the iMessage network. This means all your texts are sent to weMessage and then forwarded to iMessage for sending to and from macOS, iOS and Android devices, while still using Apple’s encryption.

How to set up weMessage to use iMessage for Android

weMessage is a pretty clever workaround for dealing with Apple’s security for iMessage, but setting it up isn’t for the tech novice or the faint of heart. There are many steps here and it requires more complex configuration than most programs. But if you’re really committed to getting iMessage on Android, this is your only option. Here’s what you need to do.

Configure weMessage on Mac

You must have Java installed on your Mac to use weMessage. Verify that you have it by navigating to Applications > Utilities, then launching the Terminal app that comes preinstalled on your Mac. Type java and then click Enter. If you get an error, you don’t have Java. If you don’t see the error, you have it. Make sure you have the latest version by downloading it here. Next, download the weMessage program for your Mac. In the weMessage folder, double-click the run.command file to start weMessage. If you get an error message that the program can’t run because it’s from an unknown developer, click the Apple logo > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, and then click Open anyway. Next, you need to enable some accessibility features of your Mac. On the System Preferences > Security & Privacy screen, click the Privacy tab, and then click Accessibility. Click the lock icon at the bottom left to unlock your settings. If prompted, enter the password you use to log in to your Mac. Click the + icon, then navigate through your hard drive to Applications > Utilities. Click Terminal > Open. Double-click run.command again to start the program. This will launch a terminal window. Enter the email address you use with iMessage. Next enter a password. The weMessage app running on a Mac. Your Lifewire password doesn’t have to match your iMessage password, and maybe it shouldn’t, since your Apple ID is used for so many things.

How to set up weMessage on Android

Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device and install the weMessage app. Start weMessage on your Android. Tap Next. At the Permission Error prompt, tap OK to give the app permission to access your device settings. When Settings opens, tap the button next to Allow system settings to be changed to allow weMessage access. Tap the back arrow at the top to return to the app. When prompted to choose a default SMS app, tap weMessage and then tap Set as default. Select OKAY at the “Help” prompt. Enter your Mac’s IP address into the app so it knows how to communicate with your computer. Learn how to find your IP address if you’re not sure how. Enter your iMessage email address and the password you chose during setup above. Enter your iMessage email address and the password you chose during setup above.

Assuming everything is configured correctly, you’ll see one screen for all your conversations. Test if you can send iMessage texts from Android by texting to an iPhone. You know it’s working when the text bubbles are blue.

You are not done yet!

The instructions so far will only work if your Android phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. That’s useful, but you want your Android to use iMessage no matter where you are. To do this, you need to set up port forwarding.

Port forwarding configures your home Wi-Fi network to allow connections from outside. This is how your Android device connects to the weMessage app on your Mac from anywhere.

The way you set up port forwarding is different for pretty much every router or modem. Because of this, there are no single instructions that can be provided. The best way to learn how to do this is by using the video and instructions on the weMessage website.

Once you’ve set up port forwarding, test the setup by turning off Wi-Fi on your Android device and texting someone using iMessage.

iMessage might not be the only iPhone feature you want to use on Android. You might be able to use Siri on Android or even use some iTunes features.

‎GamePigeon

creeperklr2 ,

I love playing these games with people and I already bought GamePigeon+ to remove ads and unlock some other levels, I mean ok that’s fair. But then you get to other microtransaction things. Word reveals which I thought were free, turns out you only get a few. Thereafter? “Want more revelations? Buy them!” “Want more planes in Sea Battle? Buy them in packs!” “Want more add-ons for 8-Ball? Buy them for just a few dollars a pack!” (Yes, it gets you not even all for this game just like 5)

I love the games and GP+ is a fair price. But now when they literally put an individual price tag on every other item or feature that isn’t unlocked by GP+, that gets very greedy very quickly. I was even willing to put up with some of it. Even bought some extra planes. But what finally got me to write this review was that the word was revealed at the end of the puns, which I was under the impression was a feature at the end of the game and not restricted in any way. nope You get x revelations, then you have to buy more. Serious? I simply declared greed. I guess I NEED nothing else so I will continue to play ad free because I already bought GP+ but they don’t get any money from me anymore. Hell, if it was all 99 cents that would be reasonably fine, but all those extra packs per game cost several dollars each. It is ridiculous. overcome yourself

Can you play GamePigeon on Mac?

GamePigeon is an iOS app that acts as an extension for iMessage. GamePigeon is essentially a collection of classic games like Cup Pong and 20 Questions. The app contains over 20 different games that can be played from the comfort of your phone. Only multiplayer games are available, all playable with your iMessage contacts.

But what if you want to play iMessage games on your Macbook? Let’s take a quick look at that.

Can you play GamePigeon on Mac? – replied

The answer is that unfortunately you cannot play GamePigeon games on a Macbook because they use a different operating system. You can only play GamePigeon directly on an iOS device – unfortunately not with MacOS.

Since GamePigeon is an iMessage extension, you can only use the app on devices with iMessage. iMessage is typically not available on Macs, unlike iPhones. The same scenario applies to Android devices and the Android operating system – you still cannot use Game Pigeon there, nor can you download it from the Google Play Store.

Instead, Macs have a Messages app that acts as the default messenger. This means you cannot use GamePigeon on a Mac device. This is quite unfortunate as a Mac’s larger screen would be useful for playing GamePigeon games, as opposed to an iPhone’s much smaller screen.

Although you can’t use GamePigeon directly on a Mac; You can still view GamePigeon on a Mac screen. To do this, you need an iPhone with GamePigeon downloaded. This way you can use the larger screen of a Mac while playing the games on your iPhone.

How to view GamePigeon on Mac

First, make sure your Mac has QuickTime Player installed. On Mac OS X, QuickTime Player should already be installed. If you are using an older Mac operating system, QuickTime Player may not be installed by default. In this case you have to install QuickTime Player manually.

How to download QuickTime Player

Downloading QuickTime Player on Mac is an easy task. There are several download links for QuickTime Player available on Apple’s website.

You can manually download QuickTime Player from the Apple Support site: https://support.apple.com/en_GB/downloads/quicktime.

Locate the appropriate download link and click on it. If you are using a Mac, click the Mac OS X download link: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL923?viewlocale=en_GB&locale=en_GB.

Click on the download option to download QuickTime Player.

How to use QuickTime player

After making sure you have QuickTime Player installed on your Mac, check if you have GamePigeon downloaded on your iPhone.

You can download GamePigeon by opening the iOS App Store and searching for “gamepigeon”.

Locate the GamePigeon app and click on the “Install” option to download the app.

After downloading GamePigeon on your iPhone, connect your iPhone to your Mac using a Lightning to USB cable.

Next, open QuickTime Player on your Mac and go to File > New Movie Recording > iPhone. Your iPhone screen should now appear on your Mac.

Now open iMessage on your iPhone. You should see a series of icons at the bottom of the screen. The GamePigeon icon should be there. Find the icon and press it to open GamePigeon. The GamePigeon icon should look like a game controller (i.e. the same as the GamePigeon app icon in the App Store).

If the icon doesn’t appear in the first row of icons, you can press and hold the icons to maximize them. You can now swipe left or right to cycle through the different icons available. Scroll until you find the GamePigeon icon and press it to open GamePigeon.

Finally, press on a game to play it. Since all games are multiplayer games, you need to choose an iMessage contact to play with. Open a message thread with your selected contact and open GamePigeon. Press on the game you want to play.

The game will then appear as a message that you need to send to your chosen contact. Once they receive your invite, you can start playing by taking turns.

The message containing the game should have a game icon (a triangle). Press the play icon to open the game. It should appear in its own window.

Now you can start playing.

Conclusion

In summary, GamePigeon can only be played on devices that have iMessage downloaded. iMessage is usually only available on iPhones, so GamePigeon is primarily an iPhone app. iMessage is required because GamePigeon is an iMessage extension.

It doesn’t work as an app in and of itself – it only works in iMessage. Macs don’t have iMessage, so GamePigeon cannot be used on Mac devices, but GamePigeon can be viewed on a Mac screen using QuickTime Player. Check out this article if GamePigeon has stopped working on your iPhone.

QuickTime Player is a standard app on Mac OS X, but can also be downloaded from Apple’s website. Just connect your iPhone to your Mac with a Lightning/USB cable and use QuickTime Player to project your iPhone screen to your Mac.
