Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android in 2020, and on PlayStation 5 in 2021. The game is also set for release on Nintendo Switch.

Does Genshin affect open-world games?

Chinese developer miHoYo has made all the money in the world with Genshin Impact, an open-world, free-to-play gacha game. The Genshin model is something miHoYo is keen to rely on, as it’s already in the middle of developing Honkai: Star Rail. That game is another open-world RPG game, currently in a closed beta.

  1. Collect images of your desired characters.

  3. Use a gif maker app to put these collective images together into a gif.

Is Genshin Impact Haram?

I’m sure playing it isn’t haram but it is haram if you spend real money on the game; spending money on Genshin for a banner is technically gambling because you don’t know what you will get and it’s also based off chances. It is also haram if you neglect your prayers and zhikir to Allah (SWT).

Is Genshin pay to win?

Genshin Impact is not a pay-to-win game, which means that players can enjoy it without spending any real-life money. The main reason is that Genshin has no PvP system—a game mode that encourages the character meta to move quickly, consequently pushing players to the edge of the financial competition.

Genshin Impact has raked in over $3 billion in mobile revenue alone and is clearly raking in big bucks for developer HoYoverse, which has recently turned its attention to other projects, from new games to massive technology investments.

The game’s financial success stems from its gacha system – a gambling pool that encourages players to spend real money on draws. Each draw gives players the chance to earn a coveted five-star character or weapon that will be heavily marketed ahead of release to create cravings. New units are coming into the pool for a limited time to provide a sense of urgency: draw now or wait months for your favorite character to rerun.

With the ability to further improve characters and weapons by acquiring multiple copies, players are even more compelled to spend money to be the best. But despite this conflicting monetization strategy, the gacha model isn’t always pay-to-win. It all boils down to implementation, raising the question of whether Genshin Impact has managed to create a model that is free for players under its expensive banners.

Can you play Genshin Impact without spending any money?

Genshin Impact is not a pay-to-win game, which means players can enjoy it without spending any real money. The main reason is that Genshin doesn’t have a PvP system – a game mode that encourages the character meta to move quickly, pushing players to the brink of financial competition. Additionally, Genshin Impact’s character pool is balanced, allowing players to choose characters they like, removing the pressure of drawing for specific units.

While getting copies of characters and weapons improves their abilities, it’s entirely optional. Competing players might feel compelled to shell out cash for these copies, but the reality is that without constellations or refinements, the gameplay won’t suffer.

How can free players search for characters in Genshin Impact?

All characters and weapons can be drawn with a premium currency called Primogems, which are available for free through codes, events, and general gameplay rewards. In a month running only Daily Commissions, players can earn around 1,800 Primogems – enough for 11 turns in the gacha. Plenty of events and content keep the Primogem supply going.

Since new banner releases are announced in advance, players have plenty of time to save up for them. A pity system has also been introduced for characters and weapons, allowing players to calculate the exact number of Primogems they need for a guaranteed turn.

Do you pay for cosmetics in Genshin Impact?

Unfortunately, players in Genshin Impact have to pay for cosmetics. Outfits can be purchased in the shop using Genesis Crystals – a currency that can only be purchased with real money. On the plus side, the Blessing of the Welkin Moon, a $5 per month subscription, grants a bonus of 300 Genesis Crystals in addition to a daily Primogem payout. Since Genshin Impact rarely releases cosmetics, it’s possible to save up for an outfit at some point by regularly purchasing the Welkin Moon every month.

Also, only five-star character outfits cost Genesis Crystals. While four-star outfits can also be purchased with this currency, they are available for free by participating in events.

How popular is Genshin Impact in Japan?

Japan accounts for nearly one-third of Genshin’s revenue, even though play time and downloads have — on mobile at least — lagged behind those of top homemade games in the country.

nene’s anime c&d games : How to Create a Click and Drag game!

MiHoYo declined several interview requests, citing his executives’ busy schedules.

Mr. Futatsugi, the Japanese game developer, is among the beneficiaries when Chinese companies look abroad. In 2021 he received a significant investment from NetEase that gave him more freedom to express himself artistically.

“There aren’t any companies in Japan that give us the money to make the kind of games we want to make,” he said, adding that “Chinese companies are the ones who see the value of our company the most. It doesn’t hurt that he gets to keep 100 percent of the intellectual property of the company.

Mr. Futatsugi says the biggest threat to Japan’s video game industry doesn’t come from China. Instead, he gets to the heart of the problem in Japan itself, pointing to the aging population and shrinking market, licensing deals that keep profits away from creators, and conservative companies’ reluctance to embrace new ideas.

But industry analysts warn that the cash injection will divert talent from top Japanese companies and accelerate the industry’s decline, said Seiichi Mitsui, head of consultancy Game Age Research Institute.

“If Japanese companies don’t defend themselves — not just individually, but by coming together as an industry — they may not be able to put the brakes on,” he said.

Is Genshin Impact actually fun?

The free-to-play games in those obnoxious adverts wish they were this good. Just as Black Desert is a fun, cheap single-player RPG hiding in a comically imbalanced MMO, Genshin Impact is an amazing open-world JRPG with a gacha monetization system that doesn’t spoil the new-player experience.

Is there a salesman in your circle of friends? You know, someone who recommends their favorite thing with such passion and regularity they could practically qualify for a commission? There’s a guy in my circle of friends who buys everything he can from Amazon (I didn’t even know you could get groceries there) and we always scold him with his sales pitches. Ironically, this is the same friend who first introduced me to Genshin Impact, and now this game has made me the second seller in our group.

I love Genshin Impact and recommend it to everyone and their dog. I’ve been playing it literally every day for a year and I don’t want to stop anytime soon. I never expected this on day one, but a year later it has become the perfect little piece to complete my gaming puzzle – the line block to fill my neatly arranged Tetris hobby time.

So here I am, recommending Genshin Impact on its one-year anniversary louder than ever.

Why you should play Genshin Impact

I recommend Genshin Impact the same way I used to recommend Black Desert Online: with huge caveats that don’t really matter unless you become an endgame goblin like me. The basic experience is incredible and couldn’t be more accessible. Genshin Impact is totally free and available on PS4, PS5, mobile and PC. It’s getting harder for me to remember with every update. Every breathtaking view, every fully voiced quest line, every intense boss fight – all for free. It’s witchcraft. The free-to-play games featured in those obnoxious commercials wish they were that good.

Just as Black Desert is a fun, cheap single-player RPG nested within a comically unbalanced MMO, Genshin Impact is an amazing open-world JRPG with a gacha monetization system that doesn’t spoil the new player experience. If you take something away from this article, let it be this: you don’t need to spend money on Genshin Impact to have a great time with it. One of the game’s biggest content creators, Enviosity, has built an entire brand around this fact. You get more than enough free resources and characters to advance your adventures and clear all base content. I spend a little on the game each month because I love it and want to support it, but we’ll talk about that later.

Genshin Impact is a third-person action game in which you quickly switch between a party of four characters to perform combos by combining elements like fire and water, ice and lightning, and so on. There are ranged and melee fighters, some dedicated healers and supports, selfish damage dealers and some that sit in between, and they’re all too good for this world. More common four-star characters can eclipse some rarer five-star characters, making building your dream team that much easier, but you really can’t go wrong with anyone. Some units are better than others at some things, but Genshin Impact has done a remarkably good job of keeping the characters comparably powerful but significantly different, with a few notorious outliers. Hu Tao is broken, and I will shamelessly play her until the heat death of the universe.

The combat is great, but it’s only half the fun at most, and I mean that in a good way. Teyvat, the world of Genshin Impact, is the real headliner. It’s loaded with secrets, treasure, resources, time trials, mini-bosses, puzzles, and other organic points of interest that give it an infectious energy and appeal that other open-world games would kill for. The many Breath of the Wild comparisons thrown out at Genshin Impact’s launch – some of them mine – were deserved, but it has outgrown this design shorthand. You could rightly compare it to many games, but there is no other game than Teyvat. You’ll come and stay for the breathtaking sights once you realize you can go there if you can see it and there’s probably something cool waiting to be found. Between the wanderlust and the irresponsibly beautiful soundtrack (please god give us a vinyl LP, MiHoYo), just walking around is a constant pleasure.

It’s meat and potatoes, and over the past year Genshin Impact has added so many fun side activities to the mix it’s hard to keep track of at times. There is an island builder that you can use to build houses for your favorite characters and build entire cities around them. You can now actually fish instead of catching salmon out of lakes with your bare hands. Events regularly feature platforming challenges, wobbly game modes like Tower Defense and Prop Hunt and Straight-Up Fall Guys, and optional bosses that can crush even experienced players.

Why I play Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact has become enviably dynamic, and I know that because I’ve experienced it all firsthand. I’m nearing 100% exploration in all regions, I’ve beaten every combat challenge in the game, completed every quest, enjoyed every song – and that stuff alone can last you like 100 hours, all for free. But I still jump into Genshin Impact every day, even if there’s nothing brand new to do. There’s a lot to be said for the catharsis of a relaxed everyday life, but for me it’s more about the satisfaction of seeing progress build up.

I get a few weird looks when I say Genshin Impact is like gardening for nerds, but it’s true. I put in a little time (or occasionally a lot) every day and spend a little money every month, and every few weeks or so I get to step back and admire what I’ve accomplished. The only difference is that I’m raising valuable anime characters instead of growing plants, but that’s really just splitting hairs. It’s fun to see my favorite characters getting stronger. I can decimate challenges that previously seemed impossible or experiment with party compositions that weren’t available to me in the past. Every day brings a bit of progress – better gear, more XP, upgrade materials collected – and that’s enough to keep me going until the next big update.

Update day is always a joy. It’s like a little party. Gamers are hyped, Reddit and Twitch are buzzing, incredible fan art is everywhere. The launch of Inazuma, Genshin Impact’s first new region, is one of my fondest gaming memories. New things to explore, new characters to meet, new characters to wish for…

Oh yes, wishes. Now we’re getting into a bit of gacha stuff, so let’s address the elephant in the room.

How much I spent on Genshin Impact – and what I got in return

Aside from being a good video game, Genshin Impact has made over a billion dollars in a year because it’s funded by the power of RNG (and waifus). You can spend Primogems to get specific characters and weapons in limited-time banners that are basically glorified loot boxes, and you can buy more Primogems with real money if you want to keep the proverbial dice rolling. If you’re unlucky, buying a single five-star character outright can cost over $250 worth of Primogems. With a five-star base rate of 0.6% per roll, you’re going to be very unlucky. If that sounds like gambling, it’s because it’s like gambling. Remember the loot box blowback from a few years ago? Yes, gacha games have been lightening wallets long before that, and they just weathered that storm unchanged. Gacha is the original loot box, baby, and it doesn’t care about you.

That’s the ugly part, and it’s important to acknowledge it. Here’s the good news: I spent well under $250 on Genshin Impact and I have every character and weapon I’ve ever really wanted. You can get a lot of Primogems just by playing the game, and if you’re looking to spend it, a little money and patience can go a long way. Earlier this year, I totaled what 100 days and $60 in Genshin Impact got me. The short version is: much more than I would have thought. Now that a year has passed, let’s check in again.

By purchasing the $10 Battle Passes and $5 Login Passes with every update, I’ve now spent $150 on the game, which is a little over $12 a month on average. In that time, I’ve drawn a total of 19 five-star characters and four five-star weapons. My luck was above average so someone with the same investment could have gotten less five stars but still more than enough for a healthy collection.

I will continue to buy both passes – and not buy clumps of Primogems for the foreseeable future. They’re both good deals on different things. If you want more new characters, purchase the Welkin Login Pass for the additional Primogems. If you need more resources to level your characters, buy the Battle Pass to grease the wheels.

But if you just want a great JRPG that gives you enough cool characters to try out different playstyles, you don’t need to buy anything, because that’s Genshin Impact – and as we’ve discovered, it’s free. Believe me, the salesman, the leprechaun, the gardener. Do yourself a favor – fuck it, do me a favor – and give it a try.

nene’s anime c&d games : How to Create a Click and Drag game!

Drag-click isn’t a technique, it’s an art. And “a master of art is one who has been mastered by art itself”. This is Frederick Lenz, ladies and gentlemen. Let’s address that fact right now. Learning to drag clicks is a little easier, but mastering it is tricky.

In this article, we’ll cover everything from the basics of drag-clicking to more advanced aspects like drag-clicking with or without tape. So when you’re ready to show your Minecraft and Roblox friends what you’re made of, then we come to the drag-click tutorial.

What is drag clicking?

Ok, let’s start with the simple stuff and work our way up. Drag-click with or without tape is really what the name suggests, it literally drags your fingers across the surface of mouse buttons. This creates friction between your fingers and the mouse buttons. By the way, we have the best mouse click to drag guide, so get it and keep improving it.

When you start dragging, gravity pulls the switch down. As your fingers continue to slide across the keys, the switch keeps pressing and bouncing right back up. This will make your game register multiple clicks instead of just one.

I wouldn’t blame you if you don’t get it right on the first try. Believe me, I had problems when I found out about Drag Click too.

So as soon as your mouse registers multiple clicks at once, your CPS (clicks per second) increases. The more CPS you have, the more often and faster you will trade in the game. It doesn’t matter if you’re building, farming XP, or engaging in PVP in Minecraft, you’ll drop rocks faster, collect items faster, attack faster, and the list goes on.

Fun Fact: The world record for most clicks per second (CPS) is 614.1. Do you think you can beat it?

How do I draw click?

Learning how to click any mouse requires a lot of patience. It’s not something you can master in a matter of hours or days. Knowing how your mouse buttons work and adjusting your technique accordingly is crucial. Now let’s get to that.

1. Clean your mouse surface

After intense gaming sessions, your mouse surface becomes soiled with sweat and dirt. Whether you use the mouse for work or play, no one escapes the curse of dirt.

So, first things first, cleaning your mouse surface is necessary to create enough friction between it and your fingers. This results in a smoother finger glide and helps you drag the click easily.

The materials you will need to clean your mouse are:

Microfiber cloth Alcohol wipes Small toothbrush (soft)

Now gently swipe the surface of your mouse, starting from the top of the buttons down to the base. Rub the alcohol swab thoroughly until the entire surface of the mouse is covered with isopropyl alcohol.

For the next part, rub the toothbrush across the mouse surface, removing any stains or dirt. The dirt usually collects above the buttons so make sure you get it too. After brushing, repeat the first step and clean the mouse surface again with an alcohol swab.

Finally, clean your mouse with an antimicrobial cloth. Make sure the mouse is completely dry and shows no signs of dirt. And that’s it, you’re ready to move on to the next step of the drag-click tutorial.

2. Hand positioning and movement

The Hand Motion Now that you’ve thoroughly cleaned your mouse, it’s time to get a comfortable grip on it. Grip the mouse as usual with your thumb on the side and the rest of your fingers on top. Place your index finger on the base of your mouse button, barely touching it.

After placing your hand on the mouse, move your fingers up along the base of your mouse button. Keep the power light and the movement smooth and steady. If you’re doing it right, you should hear multiple clicks at once, almost like a “grinding” sound.

3. Check your drag clicks

Getting tactile feedback is good enough to know you’ve successfully learned how to draw clicks. However, if you want to go a step further and verify that your PC is registering the drag clicks, you can use an online tool.

You can click counters from any of the websites online, like rapidtables or clickspeeder. These tools show the number of clicks you pressed in a single instance. So when you click the mouse you will see the number of clicks the PC has registered, also known as your CPS.

Quick Tip: To learn more about the best mouse to drag-while-click, read our guide right here (link to the best mouse-clicks-to-drag article).

Advantages of the drag click?

IMPRESSIVE! We’ve come a long way in a short time, haven’t we? From knowing what the heck dragging clicks is to learning how to do it. Quite a journey I would say.

But it’s not complete if you don’t know what the purpose of learning this newfound skill was. Where can you use drag-click? or what is the purpose of dragging click? Well, let’s take a look at some of the benefits you get from click drag.

Well, if you play Minecraft or even an FPS shooter competitively, you might be able to benefit from a higher CPS. More clicks on an instance means more damage you can deal, so overall DPS can potentially go up.

Let’s say an average player can do 6.5 to 8 clicks per second. Drag and click allows you to easily win games by spending 30+ CPS and doing more damage. The number 30 can even be raised to a higher level with practice, making you unstoppable.

Another example of using drag-click would be FPS games where you put your gun in single fire mode. After seeing an opponent, you can dish out more bullets and have impressive recoil control. However, to get this perfectly right, you might need a little more practice clicking the mouse, as your aim could suffer if you get it wrong.

So my advice is to keep practicing and try this technique in different games. Who knows, you might find it great in games you least expect.

PST! If you like FPS shooters, you will definitely love this guide on how to increase FPS in CS:GO.

Disadvantages of drag-clicking

Performing drag clicks can be fun and give you a competitive edge, but it also has some downsides that you might want to consider.

First, it greatly reduces the lifespan of your mouse switches. That’s because you’re taxing your mouse switches every time you do this. This can result in a much shorter lifespan for your mouse switches, and you may need to have spare switches on hand just in case. However, you can also combat this problem by opting for newer mice with optical switches as they have a much longer lifespan.

Second, let’s just say it’s a practice frowned upon on some Minecraft PVP servers. When servers detect a user with high CPS, they usually think it’s an auto-clicker and issue warnings or even ban the user entirely. Some notable server names are Hypixel, SaicoPVP, Mineplex, etc.

How to improve your drag clicks

Learning the perfect drag-click takes a lot of practice and cleaning up your mouse. However, you can speed up this learning curve a bit by putting some tape on the mouse buttons.

Yes, it’s a relatively underrated method, but it works great for many users. By putting tape on the mouse buttons, you can greatly increase the friction. Plus, you don’t have to worry about cleaning up after each gaming session for optimal performance.

Here are some of the mouse tape recommendations for drag-on-click:

Electrical Tape: If you are looking for an affordable tape option that is readily available around your home, electrical tape is the way to go. It’s primarily used to cover electrical wires, but is also great for increasing friction and giving you higher CPS. You should try it and see how it goes for you. Razer Tape: This second option is a bit pricey. When you hear the Razer name, you know it’s not a cheap solution, albeit a bad one. Razer features a textured tape that will significantly increase your CPS rate by at least 2-3 clicks and also give you excellent mouse grip. If you’re willing to settle for a relatively cheaper option, there are several non-branded grips available online. Silicone Grip Tape: Combining the inexpensive nature of electrical tape and the great performance of Razer Tape, we get the silicone grip tape. It works flawlessly with almost any mouse and gives an instant CPS boost. It’s really a no-brainer if you want a cheaper solution.

Tap or click the item you want to move.

Move it to the desired location

Click or tap again when you’re ready to share the item in its new location

We hope this guide has helped you understand the technique. It can be risky and tricky, but it’s worth it in the long run.

summary

Draw responsibly. That’s all I’ll say. Sure, it gives you a lot of power in games and speaking from personal experience, it’s really fun. If you think your mouse isn’t really giving you much CPS, try griptape. However, you should also keep the disadvantages in mind and try to use this technique only when you need it. Apart from that, go crazy and have a great time, player.

There is nothing more frustrating than getting into Genshin Impact, but randomly during the session your FPS will drop and your game will start lagging. You’re probably wondering what’s going on behind the scenes with your system or network and if there’s anything you can do about it. Here we are there for you. In this tutorial we are going to show you how to reduce lag and increase FPS in Genshin Impact.

How to reduce lag in Genshin Impact

Here are the top 3 reasons why you experience high ping and consequently lag when playing Genshin Impact:

Internet service provider (ISP) quality.

Internet connection speed

Insufficient bandwidth

Try these fixes to reduce lag spikes:

1. Install all Windows updates

Before diving into the major tweaks, it’s very important to make sure you’re running the latest version of Windows 10. It’s fast, free, and easy to download and install. The latest version of Windows 10 offers many exclusive new optimizations for most games.

To check what version of Windows you’re using:

1) In the search box, type winver. Then click on the winver command in the results.

2) Now you can know what version of Windows is running. Windows 10 version 20H2 has come out. So if you’re running the latest version, follow the instructions below to install Windows updates.

To install Windows updates:

1) In the search box, type check for updates. Click Check for updates to results.

2) Click the Check for Updates tab. If updates are available, it will be downloaded and installed automatically. Just wait for the process to complete and you should be prompted to restart your computer.

If this didn’t help you fix the lag issue, don’t worry. There are other fixes you can try.

2. Use a wired connection

For gaming purposes, a wired connection is preferable to a wireless connection to the Internet. Wireless connections are the most prone to interference and not as consistent as wired connections. More importantly, they increase latency. Therefore, use a wired connection whenever possible.

However, if you can’t decide on a wired connection, check out the next solution below.

3. Update your network adapter driver

Reports show that lag spikes are common in Genshin Impact. However, some players reported that updating drivers can fix the problem in no time. So be sure to check if driver updates are available.

You can update your network adapter driver manually by going to the manufacturer’s official website to download and install the correct network driver for your system.

OR

With Driver Easy you can do this automatically. It will automatically detect your system and find the right driver for it. You don’t need to know exactly what system your computer is running or risk downloading and installing the wrong driver.

1) Download and install Driver Easy.

2) Run Driver Easy and click Scan Now button. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problematic drivers.

3) Click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of any drivers that are missing or outdated on your system.

This requires the Pro version, which comes with full support and a 30-day money-back guarantee. You will be prompted to upgrade when you click Upgrade All. If you don’t want to upgrade to the Pro version, you can also use the FREE version to update your drivers. All you have to do is download and install them manually one by one.

The Pro version of Driver Easy offers full technical support. If you need assistance, please contact the Driver Easy support team at [email protected]. comes with full technical support. If you need help, please contact

After updating your drivers, restart your computer and launch your game to check if the problem is resolved. If not, continue with the fixes below.

4. Change your DNS settings

Sometimes, your ISP-provided DNS server might be slow or not properly configured for caching, which can effectively slow down your connection. Changing the server to a popular server can save you troubleshooting time.

Here we recommend using Google DNS:

1) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time to open the Run dialog box.

2) Type control and then press Enter on your keyboard to open the Control Panel.

3) Click Network and Internet. (Note: Make sure you view the Control Panel by Category.)

3) Click Network and Sharing Center.

4) Click on your connections, whether it’s Ethernet, WiFi or others.

5) Click Properties.

6) Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP /IPv4) > Properties.

7) Click Use the following DNS server addresses:

For Preferred DNS server, enter 8.8.8.8

For the alternate DNS server, enter 8.8.4.4

Check the box next to Validate settings on exit, then click OK.

After changing your DNS server, open Genshin Impact and see if it’s less laggy. If that didn’t work, move on to the next fix below.

5. Close bandwidth-hogging applications

The bandwidth requirements for gaming are not as important as other features like connections and network efficiency. However, you must ensure that you have enough bandwidth for your needs. Insufficient bandwidth affects the time it takes to send and send data back, causing lag during your gameplay.

Therefore, if your computer has background tasks that require a lot of bandwidth, be sure to close them before opening Genshin Impact.

That’s how it’s done:

1) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key + R at the same time to open the Run dialog box.

2) Type taskmgr and press Enter.

3) On the Processes tab, click Network to sort the processes by network usage.

4) Find processes using network and turn them off by right clicking on them and clicking End task.

Additionally, you can navigate to the Startup tab and disable these processes on startup.

When everything is ready, open Genshin Impact and it should run more smoothly.

How to increase FPS in Genshin Impact

You can improve the performance of your game by tweaking the settings:

1. Set the priority to high

Even if your computer can run Genshin Impact, if you need a little more FPS, you’ll need to set the game’s priority to high.

To get better gaming performance, you should check for graphics driver updates. They include bug fixes and new features, making them more compatible with a new application.

There are mainly two ways you can update your graphics driver: manually and automatically.

Option 1: Manually update your graphics driver

5. Disable Windows 10 gaming features

Gaming mode is a feature in Windows 10 that focuses system resources on gaming when enabled. It should make gaming a much better experience, but it seems the opposite is true. And if you have background recording enabled on your system, it can make your game lag and even your FPS suffer. To get rid of framerate drops, you need to disable the background recording feature and turn off game mode.

That’s how it’s done:

1) Press the Windows logo key and I on your keyboard to open Settings.

2) Click Play.

3) In the left pane, select Game bar and uncheck Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcasts with Game bar.

4) Select Captures in the left pane. In the Background recording section, uncheck Record in the background while I’m playing a game.

5) Select the game mode in the left sidebar. Then turn off Game Mode.

After applying these changes, play your game to see if the problem persists. If that didn’t work, try the next solution below.

6. Disable hardware acceleration

By default, hardware acceleration is enabled in Chrome and Discord. This feature uses your computer’s GPU to handle graphics-intensive tasks. But it can cause your computer’s battery to drain much faster. To get the best possible gaming experience, consider disabling hardware acceleration, which might also give you a noticeable FPS boost.

How to disable hardware acceleration in Chrome and Discord:

In Chrome

1) Click on the three lines in the upper right corner and then select Settings.

2) Scroll all the way down and click Advanced.

3) Scroll down to the System section and uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available. Then click Reboot.

In discord

1) Open the Discord app. Click Settings (the gear icon next to your avatar).

2) Navigate to Appearance in the left pane. On this tab, scroll down to the ADVANCED section and turn off the Hardware acceleration option.

After disabling hardware acceleration, open Genshin Impact and you should be able to see a significant framerate boost.

Hopefully the above methods can help you reduce lag and boost FPS in Genshin Impact. If you have any suggestions or questions, please feel free to drop us a message in the comment section below.

Is Genshin Impact the best RPG?

Genshin Impact

People are already calling this the best RPG for Android and iOS. Once you play the game, you’ll realise that they’re saying it for a good reason. This game features an open world that can be explored, with each area having its own nuances.

nene’s anime c&d games : How to Create a Click and Drag game!

The best RPG for Android and iOS offers players the ultimate freedom. RPGs not only allow you to create your character and customize it to your liking. While this is an integral part of the game, the freedom and player choices at your disposal make or break the game. There’s no point in a game that only gives you the ability to customize your character and then gives you few options for story progression.

When RPGs became famous, they were viewed as huge games that took hours and hours to complete. Now they are seen as the staple of a good game. Even shooting, action, and sports games have taken an RPG-like direction. Additionally, if you look at games like Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft has taken a whole new approach with the franchise. Basically what we’re saying here is this: RPGs are the future of gaming. The level of personalization that RPGs offer us is impeccable. Most gaming genres could follow this roadmap in the future.

With that said, let’s take a look at our picks for the best RPG for Android and iOS.

The Banner Saga

Most of you may have never heard of The Banner Saga. Even when the game was released on PC, most people were unaware of it. However, due to the excellent story and gameplay, the game eventually took off and was ported to smartphones. The Banner Saga has an immersive, compelling survival story. It forces you to face moral dilemmas and difficult decisions for you and your clanmates.

In addition, you will be highly challenged by turn-based battles. The game is possibly a more subdued RPG that doesn’t wear anything flashy. Nonetheless, the quality of The Banner Saga speaks for itself and makes it one of the best RPGs for Android and iOS.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Fans of the Star Wars franchise, unite! This game is a classic game for PC and consoles. Also, you have to play the game since it is now available on mobile phones. The story takes place approximately 4,000 years before the events of the Star Wars films. So there’s new (old) lore to help you better explore and understand the universe of the franchise. Like the better RPGs, you have branching storylines driven by your actions and dialogue. This of course leads to more freedom and replayability. Didn’t like the game on the first playthrough? Play it again with different choices!

Stardew Valley

We couldn’t just list the best RPG for Android and iOS without including Stardew Valley. Such was the impact of this game that it spawned several imitators and homages on the game board. In addition, it is an RPG that allows you to take a step back and evaluate how you play the game. You are tasked with reclaiming a farm that you collected from your family inheritance. From barren land to sprawling farmland, it’s your job to make the farm profitable. It sounds simple and often boring, but trust us when we say this – it’s not.

The gameplay is simple but elegant and intricate. You might not get the best graphics in the game, but it does bring you elements of nostalgia from the old days of gaming. In addition to farming, you could also visit the neighboring towns and form a community. This is a slower paced game for those who want something healthier.

Another Eden

It’s really Japanese RPG (JRPG) time, isn’t it? Here we have another JRPG in the form of Another Eden. If you’ve played Final Fantasy VII, you should feel right at home writing it. That’s because Masato Kato is the author of both games and is known for inventing wonderful stories. With Another Eden, you’ll get a rewarding turn-based combat system, a huge cast of characters to collect, and stunning graphics that will leave you breathless. In addition, the scope of the game is so great that it has over 60 soundtracks specially composed for the game. Overall, this game has an atmosphere that you can’t afford to miss.

Into the Darkness: Narakan

Into The Dark: Narakan will surprise you with the aesthetics. It has a retro yet minimalist vibe that works exceptionally well in an unprecedented way. In addition, the game is an excellent RPG experience. It follows the usual trope of a protagonist suffering from amnesia and having to unlock his memories as he progresses through the story. You must search for a child and find your connection to him as you make your way through a beast-infested forest. The game’s turn-based combat has been revamped and will make you work. Each weapon has a specific attack pattern that you must remember and use when the opportunity arises. Aside from the RPG mechanics, the weapon selection also brings a puzzle element to the game.

This game is quite unique and might not be for everyone. However, it’s still one of the best role-playing games for Android and iOS today. Well, you might as well try!

Additionally, the game is set in a futuristic sci-fi world that replaces the usual medieval fare with neon lights and dystopian designs. It may take a while to get used to the gameplay, but the beautiful graphics and compelling story will keep you hooked.

Conclusion

So those were our picks for the best role-playing game for Android and iOS. If you haven’t played any of these here, you’ve got days and weeks of playing to complete these titles. Whether you love indie games or have a penchant for JRPGs, you’ll find something to interest you here.

What defines a role playing game?

A role-playing game (RPG) is a game in which each participant assumes the role of a character, generally in a fantasy or science fiction setting, that can interact within the game’s imaginary world.

A role-playing game (RPG) is a game in which each participant takes on the role of a character, generally in a fantasy or science fiction setting that can interact with the imaginary world of the game.

Games like Dungeons and Dragons, Battletech, and Star Wars were all popular examples of the early online role-playing game genre.

The online environments known as MUD and MOO contained software for playing and developing role-playing games in text-based environments, often using ASCII maps and menus.

MUDs and MOOS have evolved into Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMPORGs), in which users play a version of a game that involves accessing a persistent world online through the game’s user interface.

Ultima Online and Neverwinter Nights were popular early on in the development of MMPORGs. Everquest’s greatly improved graphics engine attracted even more players. World of Warcraft, an extremely popular MMPORG developed by Blizzard software, now has over 6 million subscribers. Millions of players are also involved in other games, particularly in South Korea, where these games have proved particularly popular, due in part to the country’s high penetration of broadband.

RPG also stands for Report Program Generator.

Genshin Impact

Video game 2020

Video game 2020

Genshin Impact[b] is an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android in 2020 and for PlayStation 5 in 2021. The game will also be released on Nintendo Switch. The game features an anime-style open-world environment and an action-based combat system with elemental magic and character switching. The game is free to play and monetized through gacha gameplay mechanics where players can get new characters and weapons. The base game is regularly expanded through patches, using the game-as-a-service model.

Genshin Impact takes place in the fantasy world of Teyvat, home to seven different nations, each tied to a different element and ruled by a different god. The story follows the traveler who traveled through countless worlds with his twin siblings before being separated in Teyvat. The Traveler travels with her companion Paimon in search of the lost sibling and becomes embroiled in the affairs of Teyvat’s nations.

Development on Genshin Impact began in 2017. The game received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the game’s combat mechanics and open-world immersion, but criticizing its simplified endgame and monetization model. It grossed more than $3 billion in its first year of release, the highest grossing revenue ever for a video game, and has grossed more than $4 billion as of March 2022.

playing style

The player can freely explore an open world map. Here, Aether, the male traveler, is seen gliding, but the player can switch to other party members.

Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game that allows the player to control one of four interchangeable characters in a party.[2] Characters can be quickly switched between characters during combat, allowing the player to use several different combinations of abilities and attacks.[3] Character strengths can be improved in a number of ways, such as: B. by increasing a character’s level and improving artifacts and weapons that the character equips.[4] In addition to exploration, the player can try different challenges for rewards. Scattered across Teyvat are bosses and challenges that reward highly valuable resources, such as Stormterror and the Electro Hypostasis, but their assertion consumes a currency called resin that slowly regenerates over time.[5] Completing these challenges grants the player progress toward increasing their adventure rank, which in turn unlocks new quests and challenges, and increases world level.[6] The world level is a measure of how strong the enemies within the world are and how rare the rewards are for defeating them.[7]

The player can control their character and perform actions such as running, climbing, swimming and gliding, limited by stamina.[8][3] Some characters possess abilities that can change the environment, such as B. Freezing water to create an ice path that can help the player traverse terrain.[3] There are many teleportation nodes around the world that players can teleport to as a form of fast travel. Among them are landmarks known as Statues of the Seven, which can heal and revive characters and provide benefits such as: B. increasing the stamina of the players. Items like food and ore can be obtained from the open world, while enemies and treasure chests drop other types of resources that can be used to improve a character’s strength. Players can obtain food by hunting animals, gathering fruits and vegetables, or purchasing it from a shop. In addition, there are special battle instances called domains, which also reward materials that increase character and weapon power.[10] Ingredients that can be cooked into meals that regenerate characters’ health or improve various stats.[11] Players can also obtain ore, which can be refined and then used to craft weapons or improve their strength.[12][13]

An elemental reaction between the two elements, Pyro and Electro, results in “Overloaded”, which creates an explosion.

Each character has two unique combat skills: an elemental skill and an elemental explosion. The elemental ability can be used at any time except on cooldown immediately after use.[14] In contrast, the Elemental Burst has an energy cost that requires the user to accumulate enough elemental energy by defeating enemies or inflicting elemental status effects.[15] Characters control one of seven natural elements: Cryo, Dendro,[c] Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, and Geo; corresponding respectively to Ice, Plants, Fire, Water, Wind, Electricity, and Rock.[16] These elements can interact in different ways; For example, if a Hydro attack hits a target, the enemy will be inflicted with the Wet status effect, and if hit by a Cryo attack, it will inflict Cryo.[16] These two status effects combine to create the Frozen status effect, which temporarily prevents the target from performing any actions or until the player deals enough physical damage to the enemy.[16] Switching between characters during combat and casting these abilities allow these elemental interactions to take place.[17] Certain elemental abilities may be required to solve puzzles in the overworld.[3]

A multiplayer mode is available in the form of co-op. Up to 4 players can play together in the overworld and join domains.[18] Player matching can be done either by requesting to connect to another player.[18] If the player wants to vacate a domain with other players, they are automatically matched with others who want to tackle the same goal.[19] The game features cross-platform play, allowing players to play together on any platform.[20]

By completing quests to advance the story, the player can initially unlock four additional playable characters,[21] and additional characters can be obtained through gacha mechanics and in-game events.[22][23][24] Several premium in-game currencies, obtainable through in-app purchases and playing the game, can be used to obtain characters and weapons through the gacha system.[25] A pity system guarantees that the player will receive rare items after a set number of draws.[26]

story

Attitude

Set in the world of Teyvat, Genshin Impact consists of the seven major nations of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan and Snezhnaya; each nation is ruled by a different god.[27] The mysterious floating island of Celestia is said to be the home of gods and mortals who have risen to divinity through great exploits.[28] Beneath the earth lie the ruins of the nation of Khaenri’ah, destroyed by gods 500 years before the events of the game.[29][30] Unlike the seven great nations, Khaenri’ah was not ruled by a god. The player character, the Traveler (male or female, depending on the player’s choice), is separated from his twin and trapped in Teyvat. They are accompanied by a companion, Paimon, as they journey through Teyvat in search of their lost sibling. Although players can choose the name they wish to be addressed by, the Traveler’s Sibling refers to the Traveler as either Aether or Lumine if the Traveler is male or female.

Each nation is associated with and worships one of the Seven, a group of gods known as the “Archon” who preside over each of the seven nations. Each member of The Seven is associated with one of the game’s elements and is also reflected in their nation’s aspect. Barbatos, Rex Lapis, Raiden Shogun, and Tsaritsa are the Archons of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Snezhnaya, respectively.[31] However, the god who is the archon can change over time as archons die.[32] Certain individuals chosen by the Archons are granted a vision – magical gems that bestow upon their bearers the ability to command an element and the potential to ascend to godhood and dwell in Celestia.[33][34]

Mondstadt, the city of liberty, worships the Anemo Archon Barbatos and is situated on an island in the middle of a lake.[35] The city is protected by the Knights of Favonius, who are tasked with protecting Mondstadt and its citizens.[36] In the southwest, Liyue worships the Geo Archon Rex Lapis (aka Morax) and is the largest market port in Teyvat. The port city is ruled by the Liyue Qixing, a group of business leaders and ancient guardians known as the Adepti, a class of magical beings that includes Rex Lapis himself. Across the sea to the southeast lies the isolated island nation of Inazuma, overseen by the authoritarian regime of the Raiden Shogun (aka Baal) and three government agencies that collectively form the Tri-Commission:[39] the Tenryou Commission, Kanjou Commission and Yashiro Commission; oversight of military and executive affairs,[40] finance and foreign affairs[41] or ceremonial affairs[42].

Snezhnaya, ruled by the cryo-archon known as Tsaritsa, dispatches diplomats named Fatui who maintain a friendly demeanor while secretly employing more devious methods.[43] The Fatui are also led by the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, individuals bestowed exceptional powers and executive powers by the Tsaritsa.[44] Besides the Fatui, another major antagonistic faction in the game is the Abyss Order, a legion of monsters that declare themselves enemies of all humanity and the nations of Teyvat. They are led by the “Prince” or the “Princess”, the lost twin of the Traveler.[45][46][47]

plot

A pair of twins traveling through different worlds arrive in Teyvat but attempt to leave after finding the nation of Khaenri’ah under a catastrophic siege. However, they are separated by a god who takes one twin and seals the other. Referred to as the “Traveller”, the sealed twin awakens five hundred years later and meets Paimon, and the two embark on a journey to find the missing twin.

The duo first arrive in the city of Mondstadt, which has been attacked by a dragon named Stormterror. They meet up with Venti, a local bard who wants to calm Stormterror, who is actually Dvalin, one of Mondstadt’s ancient protectors. Venti retrieves a stolen sacred lyre from the Fatui and attempts to calm Dvalin with the lyre, but the dragon is manipulated by the Abyss Order into attacking him. The encounter also reveals that Venti is the Anemo-Archon Barbatos, and they pursue Dvalin, freeing him from the influence of the Abyss Order. After resolving the crisis, Venti is ambushed by Fatui Harbinger La Signora, who steals his Gnosis, the symbol of an Archon’s power.

Venti advises the Traveler to travel to Liyue next to meet Rex Lapis, the Geo-Archon, at a ceremony. However, at the ceremony, Rex Lapis is apparently killed and his body hidden. To avoid suspicion, the traveler gets help from undertaker Zhongli and Fatui Harbinger Childe; The latter manipulates the traveler to sow a conflict between the Qixing, the organization of trading leaders who manage Liyue Port, and the Adepti, ancient guardians who defend Liyue. Childe discovers the location of Rex Lapis’ body, but is unable to find the Gnosis, believing that Rex Lapis is still alive. To lure out the Archon, Childe resurrects an ancient god, but the combined forces of the Traveller, the Qixing, and the Adepti defeat him, and the groups agree to lead Liyue into a new age. Afterwards, the traveler discovers that Zhongli is Rex Lapis, who gives his gnosis to Signora as part of a discreet contract with the Tsaritsa, the cryo-archon and leader of the Fatui. Zhongli states that he faked his death so that he could step down from his role as archon, and that their defense of Liyue proved they did not need his protection.[48]

The Traveler then returns to Mondstadt and meets a man named Dainsleif who is after the Abyss Order. Together, they investigate her plan to create an artificial god to overthrow Celestia, but when they try to thwart it, they are confronted by the Traveler’s sibling. They reveal themselves to be the leaders of the Abyss Order, made up of the people of Khaenri’ah cursed to become monsters, and reveal that Dainsleif was a guard of Khaenri’ah cursed to, through the world to wander.[49] Dainsleif chases after her sibling, but the Traveler is unable to follow.

In search of a path to Inazuma, the traveler learns about the Vision Hunt Decree, which is being enforced to confiscate the visions of the people of Inazuma and start a civil war. When the Traveler arrives in the nation, he agrees to help the Resistance Army abolish it. They learn that the Fatui manipulated the Shogun into signing it and in response they raid a Fatui facility, but are defeated by Fatui Harbinger Scaramouche. They are rescued by the Shrine Maiden Yae Miko, who tells them that the “Raiden Shogun” is actually a puppet created by Egg to rule Inazuma while she retreats into her mind. The Traveler confronts Signora in the Shogun’s palace and challenges her to a duel and emerges victorious. Signora is executed by the Raiden Shogun, and the Traveler defeats Miko Ei with the help of Yae, who reverses the decree and ends the war. Miko reveals that Ei’s Gnosis was entrusted to her and that she left it to Scaramouche to spare the Traveler.[53]

The Traveler reunites with Dainsleif, who couldn’t find his twin. Seeing a vision of their siblings trying to restore Khaenri’ah, they are torn between helping their siblings and defeating the Abyss Order. Dainsleif explains that the traveler must choose before departure.

development

Genshin Impact began development back in late January 2017 with an initial team of 120 employees, which grew to 400 by the end of the year and reached 700 by February 2021.[54][55] miHoYo revealed the game at E3 2019 in June 2019.[56][57] The game was developed with the Unity engine.[58] The game had a development and marketing budget of around $100 million, making it one of the most expensive video games in development.[59] Closed beta testing was held between the announcement and launch, allowing invited players to explore and interact with the open world.[60][61] The game includes voice-overs in four languages and 13 different languages for text.[62][63][64][d]

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is highly regarded by the development team and cited as one of the main inspirations for Genshin Impact.[65] The development aimed to make the game different and more fun than other MMORPGs in terms of its quest and combat systems, as well as its random events and exploration mode. The game was developed cross-platform as the development of the game for PC and console allowed the developers to increase the graphical fidelity for the game e.g. B. rendering realistic shadows. The overall artistic vision of the game is intended to combine the anime art style with other key elements from real-life cultures.[67] For example, Liyue was first conceived as a reinterpretation of Chinese culture from a fantasy perspective and combined with reference material from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain to create the region.[67]

music

Yu-Peng Chen of HOYO-MiX composed the game’s original score, which has been performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. The approach to creating the soundtrack is to immerse players in the game and provide emotional and beautiful melodies.[71] Based on a foundation of Western music, the score has also added regional and cultural influences depending on the region.[72] For example, at Mondstadt, Chen used woodwind instruments to reflect Mondstadt’s association with wind and freedom.[71] In contrast, the combat themes use polyphony and other compositional techniques, as well as imitating orchestrion elements of composers such as Beethoven. Several soundtrack albums featuring music about characters and regions of the game have been released regularly.[73][74][75][76][77] For his work on the soundtrack, Chen was recognized as an Outstanding Artist – Newcomer/Breakthrough at the 2020 Annual Game Music Awards.[71] In an interview published in April 2021, Chen expressed interest in releasing the soundtracks on CD and holding concerts in the future.[71] The first concert took place virtually on October 3, 2021, entitled “Melodies of an Endless Journey” and consisted of several bands and an orchestra performing various soundtracks from the game.[78][79][80][81] On February 4, 2022, a second virtual concert titled “Reflections of Spring” was held, in which the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra performed soundtracks from the Liyue region.[82][83]

The September 28 global release was announced on August 17 for PC and mobile platforms, and on August 28 it was announced that the PlayStation 4 version would be released on the same date. The game was made available on PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility on November 11.[86][1] On April 28, 2021, the PlayStation 5 version of the game was released with improved graphics, improved load times and DualSense controller support.[87][88][89] The game will be released on Nintendo Switch, although no release window has been announced. In May 2022, the development team confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version is still under development.[91]

Before its release, the game had over 10 million registrations, more than half of them outside of China.[92][93] According to some, the game was the largest international release of a Chinese video game.[59][94] Ahead of the release, the game won the Tokyo Game Show Media Awards 2020 public poll, taking first place among 14 other games.[95]

Shortly after the game’s launch, miHoYo announced a schedule for content updates over the following months.[96] These content updates are scheduled to be implemented into the game every six weeks.[96] Additional patches in the future will add more events and new areas of Teyvat.[97][1][98] As a long-term project, much of the game has yet to be completed. At release, only two of the game’s seven main regions were released, and miHoYo anticipates that it will take several years for the game’s story to be completed.[99] In a February 2021 presentation, miHoYo President Cai Haoyu estimated that ongoing development of the game would cost $200 million per year.[55] Prior to the game’s release, miHoYo released a manga detailing the background of its characters and the fictional world of Teyvat, and other future plans include a series of comics, toys, and a possible movie.

controversies

When the game was first unveiled at the ChinaJoy convention in 2019, it was initially met with criticism that claimed the game had similarities to Breath of the Wild.[102] Zelda fans at the convention made explicit gestures towards the Sony booth, with one person destroying their PlayStation 4 console in protest.

Shortly after release, players discovered that the game’s kernel-based anti-cheat system would remain active after the game was closed or uninstalled,[105] raising concerns that the game had spyware installed.[106] Some Japanese players using iOS devices also observed that the game read the content of the players’ clipboards upon launch.[107] miHoYo announced that both issues were the result of coding errors and have been addressed and fixed.[108]

On October 6, 2020, journalist and Twitch streamer Kazuma Hashimoto posted a video on the social media site Twitter showing how controversial Chinese political terms like “Hong Kong” and “Taiwan” are censored in in-game chat.[ 109] Since the game’s developer, miHoYo, is based in China, they are subject to China’s censorship policy, which includes compliance with a relatively large list of banned words that cannot be used in-game or via chat.[109] Other terms unrelated to Chinese politics are also banned, such as “Putin,” “Hitler,” and “Stalin.”[110] Outside of the purely political choice of words, harmless terms such as “enemies” and “words” were also censored.[111]

In November 2020, the game faced controversy during the release of one character, Zhongli, as its gameplay and kit were considered so bad that it was considered an insult to Chinese gamers. miHoYo initially responded to the controversy surrounding the character, saying that he was working as intended and shouldn’t be a concern.[112] Later, miHoYo apologized and promised to improve the character’s equipment through beta testing for version 1.3.

In March 2021, fast-food company KFC announced a collaborative event in China where customers who showed up and shouted the phrase “Meet in another world, enjoy delicious food!” offered exclusive pins and in-game items . with the employees of the restaurant.[114] As a result, KFC stores in Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou were overrun with fans. Despite the best efforts by the authorities to comply with COVID-19 regulations, the action had to be stopped.[115]

In April 2021, some called for the game to be boycotted over allegations of bigotry in game content.[116][117] Some other users pointed out that the only playable dark-skinned characters in the game were described as “exotic” or “scary”.[117] Criticism was also directed at one of the game’s adult characters expressing love for another character who appears to be a child, although this may have been an oversight given that the character in question was found to have used an adult model in earlier stages of development . 116][117]

The game’s first anniversary celebrations in September 2021 have drawn criticism for the company’s handling of the event. Fans of the game criticized the anniversary rewards compared to rewards for community events that favored content creators.[118][119] miHoYo did not post any comment on the rewards, and the game was bombarded with reviews from fans, lowering its overall Google Play Store score to 1.9 from an initial 4.5.[120] miHoYo’s other games, Honkai Impact 3rd and Tears of Themis, received the same rating bomb from fans amid the controversy. The company officially apologized to players in response to the review bombing and responded by offering the paid bundle package to be sold at the upcoming live concert as a free 4-day login gift.[123 ] The company stated, “We have paid close attention to various pieces of feedback related to Genshin Impact’s first anniversary. support all the time. The opinions and feedback from players and fans are really valuable to us and we wish all fans to continue the adventure and make more precious memories in Teyvat.”[124]

security concerns

The game was criticized for initially lacking security features that are ubiquitous on other sites, such as: B. Two-factor authentication. On October 19, 2020, a vulnerable security hole was discovered exposing the phone number associated with a player’s account during password recovery attempt on the miHoYo website, however the issue was not resolved until November 9, 2020.[125] miHoYo has issued notices following security breaches advising players to be careful about sharing account information and to tie their account to their email address and phone number.[126][127] In May 2021, two-factor authentication was added when the player logs in on a new device.[128][129]

Similar to other online games, the game uses an anti-cheat system implemented by a kernel driver. The driver is used to prevent other programs from doing code injection, memory inspection, and other process manipulations. Originally, the anti-cheat driver stayed loaded after the game exited. This issue was fixed shortly after the game was released and will now unload when the game is exited.[130][106]

reception

Genshin Impact received “generally positive reviews” according to review aggregator Metacritic.[132][133] Teyvat’s open world was praised; IGN’s Travis Northup described Teyvat as “a world bursting at the seams with possibility”, and Hardcore Gamer’s Jordan Helm described it as “one big environmental puzzle”. Liyue in particular was singled out by Kotaku’s Sisi Jiang as “one of the most exciting regions I’ve visited in a video game in years,” before further discussing how the region “presents an idealized representation of how Chinese social relations exist in localized pockets”. [139] Game Informer characterized the game as an incredible experience, noting that “[t]he gameplay loop of collecting, upgrading, and customizing is engaging and compelling.” The gameplay execution impressed Pocket Gamer, and Destructoid’s Chris Carter called the combat system “one of the most interesting things” about the game. NPR noted that the game had a wealth of content despite being free to play, and Forbes praised the game as one that feels cohesive and complete. Gene Park of the Washington Post praised the game as revolutionary for the genre and made players “imagine a mobile game world with titles whose Qu ality corresponds to the first-class experiences of the branch”. Polygon also praised the game for setting itself apart from its peers and heralding its arrival as mobile gaming becomes more mainstream, appealing to “an audience outside of the typical mobile gaming demographic” and “new gamers without the hardware to play more conventional and resource-heavy games.” to play RPGs”.[143]

Most of the criticisms of Genshin Impact stem from the game’s endgame aspects, with Kotaku noting that while the game offers a solid experience, it also has “some of the typical bullshit that comes with a zero-dollar price tag”.[144] GameSpot echoed this criticism, noting that the game is “a bit handicapped by the limitations imposed by its free-to-play model”.[8] Paul Tassi of Forbes was critical of the resin system, noting that to get past a certain point you have to spend “an absurd amount of money to bypass the last few time slots [sic] of the game”. PC Gamer said that playing the endgame “becomes a slog” and that the resin system “feels so unnecessary”. The Washington Post warned gamers about how predatory the monetization is, adding that from an aesthetic point of view, such a well-designed game may draw some to play with the game’s gacha system.[24]

awards

Apple recognized Genshin Impact as iPhone Game of the Year in the App Store Best of 2020 and 2021 Apple Design Awards for Visuals and Graphics.[148][149] The game also won Google Play’s “Best Game of 2020” and was nominated for a “Users’ Choice Game” in the “Best of 2020” awards.[150][151] The game won Game of the Year at the 2020 TapTap Game Awards.[152] The game was also nominated for Best RPG and Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2020[153] and Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards[154]. The game was nominated for Best Continuing Game and won Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2021.[155]

Commercial Achievement

On mobile platforms, Genshin Impact recorded 23 million downloads and grossed approximately $60 million within a week of its release.[143][94] Within two weeks, that number rose to over $100 million, recouping the development and marketing budget.[156] Its strong performance continued into October 2020 as the game was the highest grossing game worldwide that month.[157] The largest revenue streams came from China, Japan, South Korea and the United States, with 69 percent of mobile revenue generated outside of China specifically during this period.[158][159] In the United States, its release was the largest mobile role-playing game launch in history.[159]

On mobile platforms, Genshin Impact had grossed over $393 million within two months of release and over $1 billion by the end of March 2021, the third-highest grossing mobile game in that period after Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile, which it makes one of the highest-grossing mobile games of all time and the fastest game to reach this milestone on Google Play and the App Store.[160][161] As of October 2021, the game had grossed $2 billion.[162][163] It became the third highest-grossing mobile game in the world in 2021,[164] grossing $1.9 billion that year.[165] As of December 2021, the game had grossed $3 billion on iOS and Android devices worldwide. The game’s largest mobile market is China with 30% of revenue, followed by Japan with 23% and the United States with 20% of revenue.[166]

Across all platforms (including mobile, console, and computer platforms), the game is estimated to have grossed nearly $3.7 billion in its first year through September 2021, the highest grossing revenue ever for a video game. [169] The mobile version grossed an additional $567 million between January and March 2022,[170] totaling more than $4.267 billion as of March 2022.

MiHoYo is making another open-world game like Genshin Impact, but ‘paranormal’

Chinese developer miHoYo has made all the money in the world with Genshin Impact, an open-world free-to-play gacha game. The Genshin model is something miHoYo is keen to rely on since it’s already in the middle of development for Honkai: Star Rail. This game is another open world RPG game that is currently in closed beta. miHoYo continues that trend, however, as it’s reportedly in the middle of developing its third open-world game.

According to GamesRadar, miHoYo is opening a development house in Montreal to focus on the new game and likely other future projects. Although miHoYo hasn’t announced anything official, we can get a glimpse of what the projects will involve by looking at some of the company’s job listings. A position for a senior designer will create an open world with “urban areas and wilderness” and a “major road system”.

miHoYo will also hire a lead technical artist to create a “destruction system” that will be a core mechanic. Finally, miHoYo is hiring a network programmer, indicating that the game will have online multiplayer like its other games. The developer has been expanding like crazy since the success of Genshin Impact and plans to create “a virtual world for a billion people by 2030”. Fascinating.

All the money in the world

There’s not much more we can guess about the new project. However, it is more than likely that miHoYo will keep the gacha formula alive with its future games. All of miHoYo’s flagship titles wear the Gacha Glove, packed with microtransactions and premium currencies. It’s a formula that skyrocketed miHoYo’s profits, so it would be unexpected if it strayed far from that formula.

Whether you’re a fan of the gacha grind or not, miHoYo will continue to expand and it’s not unlikely that it will have another hit. My wallets are already screaming ahead of Honkai: Star Rail’s future release, and I’m not sure it can hold out much longer.

nene’s anime c&d games : How to Create a Click and Drag game!

How to create a click and drag game!

I know of two ways to make these, but I prefer the first method as it’s more efficient!

Just FYI, these methods are all available on mobile

Method 1:

Collect images of your desired characters. Crop all of these images to the same ratios (I personally crop them 1:1 because it’s easier to get them neatly into a square shape). a GIF editing app to add and save text at the top or bottom of the GIF Go back (either to the same GIF or to a different one) and edit the text to create different labels/results Organize the GIFs together in one post and you’re done!

Additional tips/hints

The following tips mainly apply to mobile users –

To keep things mobile-friendly, mix up the order of the images in each GIF so those who save their results via screenshot/screen get different results instead of all the same character at once.

so those who save their results via screenshot/screen will get different results and not all the same character at once. When setting the speed of the gifs, try setting it somewhere between 10 and 17 fps (I find that any rate below 10 fps is too slow and any rate above 17 fps is too fast. That’s just my preference though, it’s always up to you for you !)

In general, if you need to insert a lot of characters (20 or more) I would set the speed to a higher fps rate, probably 17 fps or even 18. If you have very few characters (3-6 characters) I would do set it to a lower fps rate (at around 10-12 fps) so the gifs don’t blink like crazy

Method 2:

Collect pictures of your characters. Crop them in the desired ratio. Edit each image to add text at the top or bottom. Do this for each image. To set other labels/results, you must repeat step 3. Use a GIF maker app to turn these images into a GIF

Apps I would recommend!

Gif Maker – Video to GIF, GIF Editor

Gif Maker, Gif Editor

These can be found in the Google Play Store, idk via Apple, sorry. You can always try other apps that suit you better!

…and that’s it! I may have missed a few details here or there, but if you have any more questions about this, post them to my inbox! I hope it helps
