Does glitter glue dry faster in the freezer?

Glitter glue does not dry faster in the freezer. Before the glue has a chance to dry, it begins to freeze, breaking the chemical bonds. The humidity and freezing temperatures will ruin the glue and it won’t work properly.

Glitter glue and other adhesives carry freezing temperature warnings on the label. Adhesive products freeze and no longer stick after thawing. In fact, if you live in freezing areas, Art Glitter will not ship glue in temperatures below 32 degrees.

Does glitter glue dry on glass, plastic and fabric?

Glitter glue is water based so it dries easily on paper and fabric. Porous material absorbs the water in the glitter glue and helps it dry faster. Glass and plastic are non-porous so you have to wait a very long time for the glitter glue to dry and then not stick.

If you can wait a day or two for your project to dry, you might be lucky and it will stick. However, it can peel off over time. If you really want glitter glue to stick to glass or plastic, add a primer before adding the glitter glue.
