Use Samsung Secure Folder to hide apps

Create a new secure folder
If you have a Samsung phone, you can create a new secure folder as follows:
Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the small settings cog in the top right. Choose Biometrics and Security. Tap Secure Folder. Sign in to your Samsung account if you already have one. If not, create an account. Then tap Sign In, Continue, or Agree. Enter your account information and tap Sign in or OK. Choose your preferred lock type (pattern, PIN, or password) and tap Next. Enter your blocking method, select Next, enter it again and tap Confirm.
A shortcut to your Safe Folder will now appear on your Home and Apps screens – you can add files and apps there to keep them hidden.
Add apps to a secure folder
How to move apps to a secure folder on a Samsung phone:
Open your secure folder and tap Add Files or the + icon. Select the apps you want to add. To download apps directly to your secure folder, tap Download from Play Store. After selecting the apps you want to hide, tap Add.
Your selected apps will now be hidden in your secure folder. You can also move files to your secure folder. Here’s how:
Open your Secure Folder, tap the three vertical dots and choose Add Files. Select the type of file you want to add (images, documents, etc.). Create a guest account or use your phone’s private mode to hide apps
If you don’t want to install a third-party app hider, you can go the standard Android route with a guest user account. It’s a bit cumbersome because it means you have to switch to the guest account when sharing your phone, so it’s probably not the most secure option. But for parents who want to childproof their phones or keep their kids safe online, it’s a useful solution.
The process varies slightly depending on Android version and phone manufacturer and is not available on all devices, especially newer Android phones. Some phone manufacturers offer their own version of this “borrow my phone” snoop-proofing method.
