Cover the nuts with boiling water, stir well, seal the bucket and allow the water to cool.

Let the nuts soak for three to four days.

Place the tigernuts in a large saucepan along with the liquid they were soaked in.

Pour boiling water over the tigers. Don’t add anything to the water at all. After 24 hours, change the water, wash the tigers in a colander, then put them in a pan, bring the water to a boil, and then simmer the nuts for 30 minutes. Drain the water and use them as soon as possible.
