Last Elements

Last elements cannot be combined with anything else. They are the top of the combination pyramid in this direction. By default, Mark End Elements is enabled under Settings. This means they appear underlined in the workspace or in your alchemical toolbox on the right side of the screen.

Remember that one exception we mentioned with the recycling symbol? If there are recent items in your workspace, pressing the recycle button will only remove those, leaving you with items that can still spark potential new creations. Press the recycle button again to completely empty your workspace.

Start with first order alchemy

Give yourself a leg by first laying out all possible combinations of the basic elements. Jumping straight into Little Alchemy without these basic combinations can lead to some frustrating dead ends.

There are also some valuable lessons to be learned from First Order alchemical creations. Here are all possible combinations with the starting elements:

Two early lessons:

Some things just don’t go together. Fire + Fire simply brings you more fire.

There are several ways to build pressure. Both air + air and earth + earth generate pressure. There are multiple gateways to many creations in Little Alchemy.

Last Elements

Last elements cannot be combined with anything else. They are the top of the combination pyramid in this direction. By default, Mark End Elements is enabled under Settings. This means they appear underlined in the workspace or in your alchemical toolbox on the right side of the screen.

Remember that one exception we mentioned with the recycling symbol? If there are recent items in your workspace, pressing the recycle button will only remove those, leaving you with items that can still spark potential new creations. Press the recycle button again to completely empty your workspace.

How many items are there in Little Alchemy?

560, plus 9 Hidden Gem combos, which we’ll get to in a moment. There’s a separate desktop version available through Pokki with 30 additional combinations, but this alchemist won’t bother with Little Alchemy, which it can’t create on Android or iOS in its alchemical journey.

There is an online guide to Little Alchemy with a table showing each and every combination. What’s the point? Don’t use it. Do not you dare. We won’t tell you where it is. *Hm*

Instead, try the Little Alchemy official hint site, which will show you a random combination to boost your creative thinking.
