disable trunk opening by key fob CLA MY-2020

Hello everyone,

At the moment I’m not familiar with the coding on Mercs (only BMW :-0 )

A colleague of mine wants to disable opening the trunk lid with his key fob because sometimes the trunk opens when he has his key in his pocket. Very annoying.

I have some Merc software (DAS, Xentry, Vediamo) with a pass-through interface. Is it possible to code this “feature”? If yes how?

Appreciate your help.

By the way: It’s about a CLA my2020

Is it posible to disable the boot opening button on the CLK remote?

I have a 53 reg CLK 500 with keyless entry etc and would love to find a way to disable the button on the remote that opens the trunk as I’ve come out twice now to find the trunk open! So far I’ve been once to work and once at home (both times the car is just outside, close enough to be within reach) and I’ve been lucky it was sunny and nobody stole anything, but I don’t believe in mine opportunities in the future. Ideally I’d like to make it so you have to hold down the button which my old Audi had and worked fine but if not disable it all together as I’m fine using the button on the trunk itself. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve searched everywhere and can only find information on how to open it when the battery dies. Thanks
