How is life like a pencil?
Be like a pencil and work hard on your life to achieve success. Never give up if you get stuck up or break you confidence like the lead or get demotivated, but instead look for the people or things around you which act like sharpener or eraser whenever you need.
How does a pencil represent a person?
A pencil stands up straight and true and it is the same for a person. A person can stand up straight and true but only if they have the substance within, the personal fortitude, the personal ethics that allow one to hold their head high, and their back straight.
Why pencil is important in our life?
Pencil is very important. If we dont have any pencils, we cant write, we cant do our homework, we cant draw, we can do any kinds of writing. If you get some mistakes, there is an eraser on the top of the pencil, it can help you to correct it. Please dont play with the pencil, it is not a toy.
What can we learn from pencil?
1. The pencil teaches you that what is inside is more important than what is outside – in other words, that the soul is more important than the body. When we have a pencil we value the graphite at its center much more than the dead wood that surrounds it.

2. If you make a mistake, correct it immediately. Every good pencil has an eraser at the end. If you make a mistake with one end of the pencil, you can immediately erase it with the other end. Learn from the pencil that correcting mistakes is not dishonorable. No, it is actually your duty to correct your mistakes. This should be done as soon as you notice the error. Honestly, correcting our own mistakes isn’t just a duty, it’s an honor.
3. Pause from time to time to sharpen your tools i.e. your mind, body and spirit. Just as a pencil needs sharpening, we need to sharpen ourselves through spiritual practice. Only then can we become single-minded enough to give the Lord our full attention.
4. Don’t be afraid to be yourself. Enjoy learning to make your own contribution in life. Each pencil has its own line for drawing. Those lines become words—specific words—and those words form a unique story—your story. Never be afraid to draw your specific line, to follow your unique professional duty (as directed by your spiritual guide).
What is the moral lesson in the story of the pencil?
Moral of the story
Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfil the purpose to which you were born to accomplish. Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.

This is a simple 18-minute documentary film made in 1967 by a director named S.N.S Sastry for the Films Division of India, a government organization responsible, among other things, for the production of informational documentaries about India. Of all her work, I Am 20 is undoubtedly the most iconic.
The premise of the documentary is that Sastry seeks out young men and women born under the yoke of the British Empire on August 15, 1947, our Independence Day, and asks them questions about how India, a once proud country, is now fractured and Brought to his right at the knees of the Empire, she discussed what they think of the country, their hopes and dreams, ambitions and inspirations.
While the premise itself sounds exciting, nothing prepared me for the interviews I would hear in the documentary itself. “},{“type”:”img”,”id”:”img-uid-1514526601599″,”data”:”5a45df7c14ec8″},{“type”:”txt”,”id”:”rich_1514526603482″, “Data”:”
Sastry is a clever director, even if he’s making a documentary. No doubt frustrated by the lack of wayward 20-year-olds in 1967, Sastry bent the rules a little and went to IIT Bombay, where he interviewed a variety of 20-year-olds, not just those who were born on 08/15/1947.
The most immediate thing that strikes us is not the setting, not the people, but what they have to say. The young 20-year-olds express dissatisfaction with the government, pride in their country’s independence, hope and cynicism for the country’s future. Gazing at interviews of men and women 20, 50 years ago with my mouth open, I was struck by how much had changed since then and made me even sadder that so much had stayed the same.
Young men and women, despite a half-century difference, still seem to have the same level of dissatisfaction with the world and their country, with some 20-year-olds showing a maturity and knowledge well beyond what is expected of their age will, like the only person named in the documentary, T.N. Subramaniam, a soft-spoken young man who behaved like a tenured professor.
“It’s become a fashion to get together and hate the country,” Subramaniam shrewdly notes, before saying things need to change and that he’d like to be a part of it, “It’s an experiment, and I’d love to be a part of it.”

The reason I’m posting this now, at the beginning of the new year, is that I want to say to all of you, all of us actually, all of us 20-somethings who are disillusioned with the country, that this isn’t someone else’s country, it’s our own and it’s up to us to fix it as the days go by.
What I would also like to say is that you should not take on this enormous responsibility, if you wish to leave the country for greener pastures abroad, you are welcome to do so, it is your right. But if you are one of those who want to stay behind and fight, I just want to say that you are not alone. You will never be alone.
So remember, while I don’t blame you for leaving the country, I just want to remind you that India is an ongoing sore that we need to take care of, if only because it is it’s ours, it’s mine, it’s yours. it’s ours, this land, this land, it’s ours, and it’s up to us to keep it as open as possible and share it with other sons and daughters of the earth.
We need to be more tolerant, kind and gentle with people, we need to realize that the hamster wheel we have all been involved in since childhood only encourages cheating on the other person as an overpopulated country causes a constant struggle for resources. We must be clear that while India is your heritage and your shaping, it also belongs to the people around you, with their different beliefs, sexual orientations and aspirations. We should strive to create a truly open and free society, where people like the Humans of Hinduvta administrator need not fear prosecution and face no death threats for the life of his wife and child, where men and women are equal wherever people are free to love whom they want to love.
This is my vision of India and I am ready to fight for it in 2018. I strongly encourage you to check out this documentary, I’ve posted it below. “},{“type”:”youtube”,”id”:”vid-url-1514528750992″,”data”:”fA8h74ZW8Ok”}]

How can I compare myself to a clock?
I can compare myself to a clock because it keeps on moving. No matter how hard and tiring our life is, it keeps on moving. Though sometimes, the clock stops because the battery may lose its energy, so does us. We stop doing some things for a bit because we get tired and don’t have enough energy to sort things out.

I can compare myself to a clock because it keeps moving. No matter how hard our life is, it goes on. And sometimes the clock stops because the battery might run out of energy and I can compare myself to a clock because it keeps moving. No matter how hard and tiring our life is, it goes on. However, sometimes the clock stops because the battery may be losing its energy, and so are we. We stop doing some things for a while because we get tired and don’t have enough energy to put things in order. Once the clock regains its vitality, it will be active and function like us humans again. Life tells us that we will never stop learning, exploring and doing things. Either win back or quit, work or not.

If you attend an interview, you can expect to be asked about your previous experience, skills, and educational background. However, you may also be asked some more unusual questions that can feel stressful if you’re not sure how to answer. These questions are becoming increasingly popular as they can be useful in identifying candidates who have more to offer and can help the best applicants stand out from the crowd.
“What kind of animal would you be?” may seem like an irrelevant question to ask in an interview, but it can give you an opportunity to demonstrate your analytical thinking and what an asset you would be to the company, for which you are interviewing. Here we explain how to flip a question like this and use it to show your interviewer what you have to offer and demonstrate that you can think outside the box.
Make unusual interview questions work for you
For a question like this to work for you, it’s all about preparation. That doesn’t mean you have to rehearse a verbatim answer, but you’ll be far more likely to wow your interviewer once you’ve thought about the more unusual questions and the impression you want to make. Here is our quick guide:
Analyze yourself. You can answer these and similar questions by taking some time beforehand to think about your skills and qualities and how they can benefit your potential employer. Make a list of everything you have to offer and the qualities that make you stand out from the crowd.
Think different. Preparing for an interview doesn’t have to be boring, and you can have fun thinking about the questions you might be asked. Once you have your list of traits, create a mind map of all the ways they could be used in interview answers. For example, list animals that might possess these traits, think about colors associated with specific abilities, or think about experiences you’ve had that demonstrate each strength.
Create an idea pool. It doesn’t always work to practice specific answers to the expected questions, but it can be very useful to have a pool of relevant ideas from which to choose the best answer for the day. When asked, “What animal would you be?” you’re far less likely to panic when you’ve already thought about it and know you have some ideas that will work.
Be precise. As with all interview questions, it’s important to relate the question to the position you are applying for and make your answer relevant to the job. An answer that you would be a Leo because they are strong will not be as relevant to a financial management position as an answer that includes an indication that Leos are strong leaders and independent thinkers who are constantly changing their situation and planning evaluate strategically.
Think of the purpose. When a recruiter asks you a question like this, he or she doesn’t really care about the animal you’ve chosen. Rather, it is an opportunity to understand how you approach these types of questions and how you think spontaneously. When you show that you can use a question like this to your advantage to present yourself well, you’re showing that you’re competent and good at handling pressure before even adding the qualities you reveal in your answer .
So… which animal would you be?
Regardless of the position you are applying for, there are some answers that will work for this question and some that won’t. We’ve identified some animals that have positive traits to build on in your response, and you can use these to develop responses that fit your personality, skills, and the role you’re interviewing for .
Great animals to choose from:
Fox – The fox is a cunning creature, cunning and strategic, but with a touch of dishonesty. This might be a good choice, but be careful about explaining it thoroughly.
Tigers – Tigers are a popular choice as they demonstrate intelligence and quick thinking. Tigers show great independence of thought and may not be the ideal choice if you want to show that you are a team player.
Leo – The lion is a great example of strong leadership that shows determination and dedication to the pack. Try to avoid associations with the way lions take long naps—you don’t want to appear lazy in an interview!
Monkey – Monkeys are intelligent and agile, work well as part of a team, and take an innovative approach to problem solving. This can be useful in positions that rely on good teamwork skills and require you to think outside the box.
Elephant – An elephant is a powerful example of a good leader, engaging with the group with an attentive presence. Elephants may be considered unstoppable and certainly have great memories, but you might want to point out that you are more agile and flexible than an elephant!
Ant – An ant may seem like an odd choice of an animal to represent itself, but it can be a wise response. Ants are hard workers, dedicated to teamwork, often achieving very impressive results despite their small size.
Cockroach – You might not want to associate with a roach, but these are superb survivalists that are highly adaptable and resourceful. You need to explain your choice in detail though, as this answer might raise some eyebrows!
Dolphin – Dolphins are highly intelligent, excellent communicators, and real team players, and these are all traits that will be desirable in many roles. Dolphins are popular with interviewers and applicants alike, and you can tailor these choices to the position you are applying for.
Butterfly – A butterfly is an interesting choice that is always going through stages of development, waiting for the right day to fly. This is a decision full of potential and you can start a discussion about being an individual waiting to thrive.
Gorilla – A gorilla is a strong choice, gentle but powerful, and a good parent and leader. This choice shows great willpower and an independent approach.
Chameleon – A chameleon can be interpreted in many ways as it blends in well and is not conspicuous. This could be seen as clever, but it can also seem sneaky, so think carefully when giving your reasons.
Owl – Owls are considered very wise and good at seeing the big picture. A good applicant would associate strategic planning and precise performance for great results.
Dove – The dove is a peacemaker who is always looking for the non-violent solution and this could be a very good animal to identify with if you are looking for a role in human resources or human resource management.
Animals you might want to avoid (at least for this question) include:
Snake – The snake doesn’t hold many associations as it is traditionally seen as sneaky and dishonest. Most people avoid this connection by choosing another animal.
Whale – Whales can be considered majestic and awe-inspiring, but they also smack of being lumbering and clumsy, so you may want to avoid the comparison.
Sloth – Whether deserved or not, the sloth has a reputation for being lazy and slow, and these are not traits you want to promote in yourself.
Turtle – Turtles can be seen as overly relaxed, unable to strike quickly even when necessary.
Jellyfish – Not the ideal choice for most roles, the jellyfish is said to be beautiful to look at but deadly to the touch, suggesting that you should handle with extreme caution!
In summary:
Fox – Clever, but with a touch of dishonesty
Tiger – Intelligent, roadworthy
Leo – Bossy and lazy, but an incredible fighter, stands above everyone else and likes to assert authority
Elephant – Leader, unstoppable, great memory
Monkey – Intelligent, agile
Ant – Hard worker
Cockroach – usually an uninvited visitor, but an excellent survivor, highly adaptable and resourceful
Dolphin – Very intelligent, everyone loves dolphins
Butterfly – Always in one stage or another of development, waiting for your day to fly by
Gorilla – Gentle but not upsetting, vegetarian, good parents, provoke at your own risk
Chameleon – Blends in well, doesn’t stand out, very sneaky
Owl – Very wise, very good at seeing the big picture, very good at getting what she wants
Jellyfish – Beautiful to look at, but deadly to handle, handle with extreme caution, or pay a heavy price
Dove – A peacemaker, always looking for the non-violent solution
Some of the generally bad animals you might want to avoid (at least for this question) include:
Snake – sneaky and dishonest
Whale – bloated
Sloth – lazy
Turtle – Too relaxed, unable to strike quickly even when necessary

What does a broken pencil symbolize?
What does a broken pencil mean to you? Every day, students get out their pencils to start their school day. The snap of a pencil carries so much meaning – anger, frustration, anxiety. That snap might come from the struggle with homework, learning disabilities, bullying, and separation from their parents.
Inspirational Words of Wisdom
Every day the students get out their pencils to start their school day. Cracking a pencil means so much – anger, frustration, fear. This snapshot could be from struggling with homework, learning difficulties, bullying and being separated from her parents. At this moment it’s just too much.
When students face these common challenges, it’s important that they have support that includes counselors and teachers who can spot the early signs of frustration and bottled negative feelings before things seem too big to handle.
If you’re a student and things are building up, consult a trusted adult. If you are an adult and find that something seems wrong with a student, do not wait for the student to ask for help. Reach out and offer a safe space and support to talk about what might be happening. Show that you care.

Life of a Pencil !!!
Everyone in their life has used pencil. This is the stage when everyone begins to learn to write. But is a pencil enough to learn to write? There are other materials that help too, let’s look at the role of these materials in the life of a pencil.
Sharpener:
When buying a new pencil, start with the most attractive and brightest. And do you start writing right away? No right! You must first sharpen it so that the extra material covering the lead can be removed and display the lead for writing. There is an exception for pencils that do not require an initial point.
As soon as you sharpen the pencil, the user writes very fluently, clearly and beautifully. This sharpener is used not only at the very beginning but throughout. If you keep writing for a while, you will see that the lead wears out and shrinks. To resume, you need to sharpen it again. This process continues again and again.
Eraser:
The role of the eraser is important because it eliminates the mistakes made with the pencil by giving up a part of itself. The eraser makes the work neat and tidy, even when mistakes are made.
Paper:
You need a pencil to write and a sharpener to sharpen, but where do you want to write? Right on a piece of paper. Without paper there is no work for a pencil and if there is no work for a pencil there is no work for an eraser or sharpener.
So at each point, the combination of pencil, eraser, sharpener and paper is a must to write, draw or work.
Life is not less compared to these objects or materials.
A new pencil is nothing, but when you are born into this world everything is new and bright and most attractive. You will be fresh in mind and heart.
As you grow up, you need a pencil sharpener to put you in the right footsteps. This initial sharpening work is done by the parents. They introduce you to the world of new people and thighs and familiarize you with everything. You start throwing up ideas and stuff, removing the bluntness and bringing out the spirit to move forward like a spike when sharpened.
Later, when you go to school, your mind becomes a pencil. You start learning, experiencing and knowing more and more with the pen every now and then. The child’s mind is open to everything and everyone.
There comes the role of the eraser. Just like a regular eraser that erases the mistakes made with the pencil to do better, teachers stop you while making mistakes erases the wrong idea you had and sets you on a better path. Never back down when you make a mistake. This is the point where you will learn the difference between right and wrong.
Then comes the paper. Paper is nothing but your own life. Just as pencil work is saved on paper, the work you do is saved in your life forever. It depends on what part you want to write and keep safe. You can preserve the good deeds by erasing all negativity with the help of certain people or your own mindset.
Life is never like a pen which, once written, cannot be erased, but like a pencil which can be written on again with the help of others, just like an eraser. Yes, it cannot be completely overwritten, but there is a chance it can be modified. There may be some spots left out, but you still have a chance to improve instead of regretting the mistake.
Not all teachers are erasers, there are also some sharpeners to guide you on the path to ultimate success. The only thing here is how consistent you are with the decision.
Some erasers can be your friends or relatives. To be an eraser one must be selfless, just as the eraser erases the mistakes by giving up a part of itself, the human mind should also be selfless to advise someone and expect nothing in return.
A person should be all these three materials. Be like a pencil and work hard on your life to succeed. Never give up when you get stuck or when you lose confidence or get demotivated, instead look for the people or things around you that act like a sharpener or eraser whenever you need it. You can also create specific targets that can act as sharpeners and erasers.
Be like an eraser and guide everyone through their mistakes with appropriate solutions, not just point them out. Be like a sharpener, motivate or encourage them to work consistently so they keep going and never give up.
Never neglect everything that is around you. Everything that happens has a reason. Nothing in this world is without value or purpose. As you begin to take things seriously, these suggested points will enter your heart and mind.

Inspirational Words of Wisdom
Not many people might realize that they have some things in common with a pencil. Well, this comparison might not be for everyone, but it applies to many people.
Great stuff
You see, a pencil can do great things, but it has to be able to hold itself and be used. A person can do great things, but you have to allow them to do whatever they want whenever they can.
If you don’t engage in some worthwhile activity or activities, you won’t do yourself any good because you’ll fade away in spirit.
Not without pain
A pencil will hurt from time to time, but it is necessary for it to become a useful tool. Sometimes the line is weak or the line breaks.
A person will also experience pain from time to time, for it is this pain that reminds them that there will be bad times and good times to appreciate life.
Not everything in life can go without a few bumps and loops, and this allows a person to better appreciate the good times when they come.
Our mistakes
A pencil can correct any mistakes it makes, and a person also has a responsibility to correct what has been done poorly or to make amends when you have done something wrong or hurt someone else.
The most important part
The most important part of a pencil is the inside; it is what it uses. And what’s on the inside of a person is what really counts in the long run, not what you own or own. A person’s value is measured by what they make of their life, the good they spread, the help they provide, and the compassion they have for those around them.
how do you stand
A pencil stands straight and true, and it’s the same for a person. A person can stand tall and true, but only when they have the substance within them, the personal strength, the personal ethics that will allow one to keep their head high and their back straight.
Do more and be more
We could all bear to take on some of the characteristics of a pencil.
We can be more and do more, but only if we are properly prepared. We must be able to endure pain and keep moving forward. We must be able to develop our inner being because that is what makes us valuable and worthwhile. We need to be able to be proud of what we stand for and what we do with the time we have on this earth.
A pencil can be blunt or sharp. A life can be full of doom and gloom, or it can take on the glow and power of a brightly burning candle.
A pencil can be used often or it can sit idle. A person can be active and move forward, or a person can sit and wait until only weakness remains.
And like a pencil, life can find itself encountering obstacles that don’t like being written on, just as a person encounters obstacles that are not easy to overcome.
Is your pencil sharp?
So when you get to that point in life that seems to be against a wall, sharpen your pencil again and get going.
A pencil can be sharpened many, many times, and you too can reshape and refocus it if you need to keep moving forward.
