The last time it stopped working, the mechanic told me it was full of water and dirt.
I hope if I find it myself I can sort it. 2009 Berlingo 1.6 HDi xtr.

You hid the horn pretty well, didn’t you?
It lives behind the front bumper, on the passenger side, behind the plastic under the inner fender cover. On the early models this was accomplished by removing the cover, not sure on yours.

I spun in circles
Used the images here
Checked the fuse
Loosened, moved around the mass point and tightened again
Access to the horn through the N/S wheel arch
13 mm ratchet ring to screw onto the bolt
WD40 and have reset the connections several times
Tried the horn direct to battery (worked fine)
My son ended up having to hold the horn button on the steering wheel WHILE I disconnected and reconnected the horn – it beeped.
If the plug is pushed all the way home it will fail, if almost all the way it’s ok. I put a piece of plastic in the connector and then pressed firmly (but didn’t click) and wrapped in electrical tape
Seems to be working fine now
Hope this can help others
Nick

That is a single tone horn, the one you have should be a dual tone horn, but being a euro built unit it may only have a high tone. I like to install the loudest horns I can fit most of the time. In terms of connector, you just need to be sure if your connector uses a single connector where the body is the ground, or a dual connector that has power and ground on the horn. Both are easy to test, with the single clamp you hold the holder to the earth clamp of the battery and then touch the single clamp with a jumper wire. On the two terminals you use two wires to bring battery power to them. Another test is to use a test light instead of the horn. Press the horn button, the light should come on.
