It should be on the back so you can see what you are doing when pumping up the tires in dusty conditions or at night. I’m sure other buyers found this out as I did when they had to put air in a tire at night. I noticed that they still haven’t fixed this bug on the latest model.

I used it quite often for this task and in less than a year the compressor literally broke. It was also annoying that the compressor slowed down before breaking at a certain pressure and took quite a long time for just one tire. I still rate it as pretty good and pretty handy, but more for a typical homeowner. My use of the compressor would be more than typical I would say.

I read some reviews from other people that theirs didn’t come with charging cables. I think some models don’t come with cables like it says in the manual, it just so happened that the DCP models came with it. Again, the manual states that although the device came charged in the box, it’s still best to charge it before use. I charged mine and it took almost 24 hours for the battery bar icon to stop flashing meaning it was fully charged. One day my sister’s car battery died and I used this device for the first time ever and the battery icon still shows full bars. The next day while I was gardening I pulled out my L1 Compact Bose speaker rated at 200W, plugged it into my CAT Power Station and played my music playlist for 4 hours. When I was done gardening I unplugged my iPhone and the speaker and battery icon is still showing 3 bars, the 3rd bar was flashing so the power station might have a little over half charge left. So far this product is working well for me. The only downside is that the letters in the manual are just too small. Had a headache just reading all this. 🙁

The manual type has a ridiculously small font size of about 5. I had to take photos of pages with my iPhone to expand them so I could read them. The documentation sucks. How to start a car with a battery booster pack
It can be a good idea to have a car battery booster pack in your car. This way you can jump start your battery even if no other car can come to your rescue.
Before you begin, make sure:
The car battery does not look damaged and is not leaking.
They have discarded metal jewelry or watches, and removed loose clothing such as ties or scarves.
Steps to using a car battery booster
1. Check the battery booster
Make sure the pack is fully charged
Place the battery booster pack in a stable place. Do not put it on the engine as it may fall off when the engine is started.
2. Connect the red jumper cable
Connect the red positive (+) jumper cable from the battery pack to the positive (+) post of the car battery.
3. Connect the black jumper cable
Connect the black negative (-) jumper cable to a ground point on your car. Unpainted metal on the engine block or chassis is best.
4. Turn on the package
Once the battery pack is connected, turn on the pack.
5. Try to start the car
Try to start your car by turning the key in the ignition.

6. Run the engine
When the car starts, run the engine for about 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, switch off the boost pack and let the engine run for another 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Power off and disconnect
Turn off the engine.
Remove the cables in the reverse order you installed them (disconnect the black cable first, then the red cable).
8. Restart your car
Try turning the keys in the ignition to see if the car starts again.
What to do after you start your car
If you managed to start your car, the engine needs to be fully charged again.
Charge the engine by driving normally (not in stop-start traffic) for at least 30 minutes. You can also use a portable car battery charger to top up your battery charge.
How often should you change a car battery?
On average, batteries last between 5 and 7 years, but you should only change a car battery if it shows signs of wear.
If the battery is more than 5 years old and seems to be having trouble starting the car, have it checked. Better safe than sorry – it gets worse when there’s a roadside emergency or on a cold morning when you’re already late for work.

How to Jump Start a Car
Drivers ending up with a dead battery is one of the most common breakdown problems. This can easily happen if you leave the lights on or due to “parasitic loading”. Fortunately, there is a way to start a car without having to contact a trained professional. Cars can be started from either another car or a portable battery. Read our article to find out how to do it quickly and safely.
What should be considered before jump-starting a car?
The materials needed to jump start a car are usually another car with a fully charged and working battery and a set of jumper cables. If you have these available, a portable jump starter can also be used.
Avoid using a hybrid or electric vehicle to jump start another car as it can damage the electrical systems.
Do not touch jumper cables together when connected to a live battery. As a best practice, it’s best not to touch them together.
The jumper cables are color coded to correspond to the side of the battery to which they are to be connected. The red wire is for the positive battery post, which is usually red and marked with a (+) symbol. The black wire is for the negative battery terminal and is generally black.

Usually a metal part that is solid and snaps easily is best. Try to start the accident vehicle. It should start within a few tries. If this is not the case, then this could be a sign that there is another problem with the car. It is then advisable to get help from a mobile mechanic or a breakdown service. Once the crashed car has started, let it run for about 5-10 minutes (do not remove the jumper cables yet). Turn off the crashed car and remove the jumper cables in the reverse order that they were attached. So first remove the negative jumper cable, then check whether the engine still starts properly. After that, disconnect any remaining jumper cables.
The procedure for jump starting a car should generally be the same for all makes and models, however there may be differences so it is recommended to check and follow the procedure outlined by the vehicle manufacturer.
Can you jump start an automatic car?
Yes, jump starting an automatic car is identical to the procedure used in a manual car when it comes to tapping power from a working car or portable jump starter. Pushing is more difficult with automatic cars and it depends on the vehicle type if this is possible. Make sure you follow the recommended process for your make and model. It is very important to do this in the recommended way as the battery of both cars involved can be damaged if done wrong.
