Planner Obsession: Simply Yours Day Planner Review
If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for the next best thing when it comes to planning. Whether it’s for my business, my blog, my kids, or my personal life, a new planner always piques my interest. The ladies at Bailey Craft Planners were kind enough to send me a Simply Yours daily planner to test drive. And what a smooth ride it was!
I first heard about the Simply Yours daily planner from another blogger. She raved about how well constructed it was – top of my list of must-have planner attributes. I’ve had my share of planners where after a few months the binding busts or the covers too easily peel off and damage. My planner is my best friend. I take it with me everywhere (“it traveled with me to Hong Kong” everywhere).
When my planner arrived at my front door I was so excited!
I’ve examined the covers and binding inside and out and they look pretty sturdy. The corners of the covers are reinforced with metal so they don’t dent easily – nice! The binding is hard core…it doesn’t flex.
The first inside can be personalized – so cute 🙂
And then we come to the planner’s meat and potatoes. The beauty is that you can start the planner in any month – you are not tied to the traditional January-December calendar. I started mine in April and it will run through March 2017. Here are some of the insides:
Now you might be thinking that my planner pages pale in comparison to all the washi tape and sticker planner lovers out there. I love the whole washi movement with the colorful patterns and stuff, but I have ZERO time to get involved – and I know that when I do get started it will be like my scrapbooking phase where I love every embellishment , any paper and everything needed to have Cricut machine with cartridges. It wasn’t normal.
I love my markers—Le Pen and Pilot’s erasable Frixion—and I like that I can write with just about any marker and it won’t bleed on the back of the page. The markers give me just the right amount of color I need on the pages – and they stay neat and clean.
