Do not apply hot pack directly to skin. Follow all instructions carefully
Proper Use and Directions of ThermalMAX:
1. Insert the reusable heat pack into the adjustable comfort sleeve. Position the heat pack in the comfort wrap so that the top (labeled side) is facing the same direction as the top (labeled side) of the comfort wrap. NEVER PLACE OR USE THE HEAT PACK IN THE MICROWAVE WITHOUT PUTTING IT IN THE COMFORT WRAP.
2. Lay the comfort pack/heat pack flat in the microwave. Do not put other materials in the microwave.
3. Heat in the microwave as follows. Do not exceed the recommended heating time: 900 watts – 2 minutes 1100 watts – 1 minute 45 seconds 1200 watts – 1 minute 30 seconds
4. If the microwave does not have a turntable, rotate the heat pack 180 degrees halfway through the heating time.
5. Allow the comfort pack/heat pack to sit for 30 seconds before removing from the microwave. DO NOT APPLY A HEAT PACK DIRECTLY TO THE SKIN WITHOUT A COMFORT WRAP. ENSURE THAT THE HEAT PACK IS PROPERLY POSITIONED IN THE COMFORT WRAP (TOP UP).
6. Test the comfort pack/heat pack for temperature and comfort level before use. Place the comfort pack/heat pack over the affected area. Always position the rounded side of the red modules towards the affected area.
7. Warming up the product: After 2 hours from the initial heating, the comfort pack/heat pack can be warmed up in 15 second increments until the desired temperature is reached. (Note: Thermal MAX may not last up to 2 hours without following these instructions.) DO NOT MICROWAVE OR USE THE HEAT PACK WITHOUT PLACING IT IN THE COMFORT WRAP.
CAUTION: Always monitor the comfort pack/heat pack in the microwave during heating. If swelling of the comfort pack/heat pack occurs, stop heating immediately and allow swelling to subside before removing. Before removing the comfort pack/heat pack from the microwave, inspect it carefully for any signs of tearing or leakage. If a leak is found, do not use it.
Care and cleaning:
The comfort pack should only be machine or hand washed after the heat pack has cooled and removed.
Always store the heat pack flat in a comfort wrap at room temperature.
IMPORTANT
Do not exceed the recommended heating time. Overheating can cause damage.

Heat pack instructions
Your IMB Heat/Cold Pack provides you with convenient, reusable cold or heat treatment therapy. It remains flexible even in the cold and can be applied to all parts of the body. When used appropriately, especially within the first 72 hours after an injury, the pack will help reduce the severity of symptoms and the time required for healing.
How to use cold
Store in the freezer, remove and wrap in a wrapper. Apply to the affected area. A minimum of two hours in the freezer is required for best results.
Do not apply directly to skin straight from the freezer.
How to use hot

Make sure you boil enough water to completely cover the pack. Remove the water from the stove. Place the pack in the water for about 7 minutes, making sure the pack is completely covered with water. Leave them in the container for 10 minutes, when the pack is taken out from the freezer Remove from the water and wrap in a towel, apply to the affected area
Use microwave
Be careful as microwaves vary in power and you need to find the right amount of time to heat the pack.
Flatten the pack to ensure the gel is evenly distributed. Place pack in microwave oven and set timer for 30 seconds maximum then allow to stand for 30 seconds desired temperature is reached Remove from microwave and wrap in a towel or cloth and apply to desired area
Note: Medium power is recommended for the microwave oven. Do not heat in the microwave above 1400 WATT.
