What is the most profitable slot machine to play?

What slot machines have the highest payout percentage? The Ugga Bugga slot machine game has the highest payout percentage, at 99.07%. The second highest is Mega Joker by NetEnt, with a 99% RTP. Jackpot 6000 by NetEnt and Uncharted Seas by Thunderkick come in second and third, with RTPs of 98.8% and 98.6%, respectively.

Is it better to stop a slot machine or let it spin?

I told him that it really makes no difference. Nearly all games remain random when you stop the reels yourself. The random numbers that determine your outcome for that spin have already been set before you stop the reels. Game designers call it “illusion of skill.” You feel like you have control of the game.

How do you cheat on slot machines to win?

To cheat at slots using a magnet, you could spin the reels and then use a strong magnet on the outside of the machine to stop them spinning when you saw your winning combination. Cheaters would then remove the magnet and claim the payout.

What are the luckiest slot machines?

Top 10 slot machines with the highest RTP in 2021
  • Ugga Bugga 99.07% RTP – Playtech. This curious offering is unlike other slots. …
  • Mega Joker, 99% RTP – NetEnt. This NetEnt classic is beloved by slots fans. …
  • Jackpot 6000, RTP 98.8% – Netent. …
  • Blood Suckers, 98% RTP – NetEnt. …
  • White Rabbit Megaways, 97.77 RTP – Big Time Gaming.

Should I play Max bet on slot machines?

Most of the time, unfortunately, no – there is no benefit to placing a max bet. On most slot machines, the payout ratio for wins will increase equally with the bet you place. If you wager $1 and win $2, a $10 bet would have won $20, just as a $100 bet would have won $200.

February 7, 2022 Giovanni Angioni

Are you trying to figure out how to get better odds on slots but still don’t know which are the best slots to improve your odds? You are not alone.

This article does not list every slot machine tips under the sun.

Instead of focusing on the general tips and tricks you’ll find in all casino guides on the internet, it focuses on proven ways to improve your chances of winning when choosing the games to play.

I’ll also give you some valuable slots tips about the best progressive slots and how choosing a jackpot game can affect your chances of winning.

In other words, if you’re figuring out how to pick a slot and how to find the best slots to play online, you’re going to love this guide.

Must-Play Free-to-Play Slots in 2022

This casino slots guide will transform the way you play slots. And chances are, that’s exactly what you need – because winning at slots takes time, dedication, and the right attitude. So, are you ready to get started and learn how to improve your chances of winning at slots games?

The best online slots to play

Knowing how to pick a slot machine takes more than just guessing when a slot machine will strike. The best slot to play is the one that offers the right combination of volatility, return to player, limits and casino bonus.

Every time you play real money slots you need to look at the payout percentage (or paytable) and the stakes. The only way to improve your slots chances in the long run is to pick a good slot and only play with money you can afford to lose.

Based on their RTP alone, the top 12 slots to win are:

Of all the tricks to winning at slots, finding the best slots is the one secret that the most seasoned players swear by.

That’s because while you can’t win at slots every time, picking a good slot is the best way to improve your chances of winning and let the casino slot’s RTP do the “hard work” for you.

Many casino strategies tell you to stay away from every popular slot machine. These are, they say, the worst payout percentage games of all on the casino floor.

That is not true.

We looked at over 25 types of slots at the best online casino sites in PA and NJ and found that the payout percentage had very little to do with the games popularity.

In fact, we have found that some of the best slots games are popular with real money players precisely because they are machine games that have been featured numerous times on gambling news websites.

Slot machines with the best odds of winning

Figuring out what is the best type of slots to play and how to improve your chances of winning slots is the dream of anyone who engages in online gambling.

The slots with the best odds are the games with the highest Return to Player (RTP). While you can’t be sure of winning at these slots every time you play, and you can’t tell when these slots are ready to play, these are the ones with the best slot odds.

When you go online to play slots for real money or for free, you need to know how to choose good slots games.

Many beginners play casino games thinking that all slot machines are similar, differing only in graphics, features and bonus rounds.

Obviously this is a mistake.

If you want to know how to get better odds at slots, you need a slot that pays more than the rest. And to know which is an excellent slot machine, you need to take care of the return to player percentage.

What is Return to Player (RTP)?

The Return to Player (or RTP) is a percentage of the total wagered money that a slot machine returns to its players.

The RTP is not the amount of money you get back when betting on real money slots and it doesn’t indicate if you have fewer chances of hitting a bonus round or not.

How to find the RTP of a slot machine

The quickest way is to search for it online. If you use google you can type the following command to show all online gambling sites that mention the RTP of the slot type you want to play:

“[SLOT GAME]+RTP”

Many casino news sites that publish content related to casino games have entire sections dedicated to the RTP percentage of the casino slot games they review, so it’s always easy to find the games’ payout percentage.

You can also find them on PokerNews. Every slots review we publish has a section dedicated to the payout percentage, with easy-to-understand information about the games that have frequent payouts and whether or not the slot is a loose slot.

If this is your first time visiting our website, these related articles will help you play slots online. If you choose a good slot machine to play, you improve your odds.

When you play online slots for real money, you can also review the games themselves. The RTP number is always mentioned somewhere. You can usually find it in the slot’s settings or in the “Help” section.

Slot Tips The RTP is calculated on a scale of 1-100. Most slot machines have an RTP between 92-97%. Always choose an online slot with an RTP of 96% or more. This is the best slots strategy to follow on every game – as a high payout percentage indicates you have a better chance of winning a spin.

Progressive slot machines

When you start playing slots online it can be difficult to resist the temptation to play progressive slots.

The big real money prizes make jackpot slots almost attractive…at least on the surface. But if your odds are important to you and you’re on a budget, choosing a progressive slot might not be the right choice for you.

Progressive slots have the lowest RTPs on average when gambling, so you don’t have much of a chance of winning. What’s more, you always have to bet the maximum to get access to the top jackpot prizes – which means you might end up spending more money than you can afford to lose before you even come close to winning .

The list below shows you eight of the most popular slot games with a progressive jackpot. Compare their RTPs to the non-progressive games above and you’ll see why playing for a jackpot isn’t always the best choice.

How to find “loose” slot machines

Everyone would love to play loose slots with the prospect of winning every time the reels spin. While this may not always be possible, all of the games listed below have an above average RTP which results in higher than usual chances of winning.

What is a “loose” slot? When we talk about loose slots, we don’t mean that these are games where you have a better chance of winning money. Simply put, these are games with an RTP of over 96%.

Need help finding a good slot machine? Check out Himalayas: Roof of the World. This entertaining game from Barcrest is the perfect example of a great combination of slick gameplay and good RTP.

Himalayas: roof of the world

PLAYING GAME

How did I find this slot? I scrolled to the bottom of the slots page at one of my favorite online casinos. Once there, I settled on a slot machine that I had never seen before.

Not all games make it to the front pages of online casinos – especially those that feature a combination of volatility and RTP that plays in players’ favor and that come from underdog developers. And Himalayas: Roof of the World comes from Barcrest, a provider that doesn’t often get the spotlight.

Also, Himalayas: Roof of the World offers good odds on slots!. The game has an RTP of 97.75%, which is above average.

Determine the volatility of slot machines

Another critical factor to consider when looking to pick a slot with better odds is the volatility of the game.

Many gaming and gambling news sites refer to the volatility of games as their “variance”. Here at PokerNews we like to call it the “level of risk”.

Slot game volatility measures the risk involved in playing a particular slot for real money. One of my favorite tips for playing slots is to think of it as a “risk factor” in the game you’re about to play. This is because volatility determines how you win at slots.

Low Volatility Slots: Your chances of winning on these slots are high and it is easier to hit winning combinations when you spin the reels. However, you should know that low volatility slots offer smaller wins – therefore your winning combinations may not be worth as much as you would like.

Your chances of winning on these slots are high and it is easier to hit winning combinations when you spin the reels. However, you should know that low volatility slots offer smaller wins – therefore your winning combinations may not be worth as much as you would like. High Volatility Slots: The odds of winning on these games are lower, but the wins pay more. With the right bankroll, slots playing tips, and strategy, these games can be a lot more rewarding.

Both options are very popular online as people play both types. Any useful casino guide will give you plenty of choice to find the right online slot game for you – with welcome bonus codes to try them for free before you invest your money in them.

Choose the slots time that feels right for you. But remember:

To play high volatility slots you need to be patient, have enough money to invest in a long online gaming session and have read enough casino blog posts to know all the secrets of playing slots optimally.

If you don’t tick all the boxes, low volatility slots might be a better option for you.

High volatility slots are also a bit more risky. You never know how much time and money you’ll have to invest to hit a lucky spin and celebrate another day of slots money-making.

How to determine the volatility of a slot machine

Casino sites don’t make game variance as accessible as RTP numbers – and that’s partly because they don’t want to help you improve your odds of winning.

An easy way to select games with the right variance is to use Google operators and let the world’s largest search engine do the work for you.

Here is an example:

You’ve seen some progressive slots with big jackpots, and the Mega Moolah game caught your eye. You’re intrigued by the seven-figure big win, but you don’t know anything about the variance of the game.

The most effective way to find the information you need is:

Open google.com. Type “Mega Moolah variance” into the search bar. Analyze the search results

Alternatively, you can explore the games and try to find out their variance yourself. If you play the same slot long enough, you should be able to see how often the game pays out and what kind of wins you get.

If achievements are rare but significant, you are in a high volatility game. If you win often but the wins are nerve wracking and small, you’ve just found a low volatility game.

A casino bonus like a match deposit bonus or free spins is an excellent way to discover the volatility of a game while playing. These options will help you learn more about the games and give you useful information that might help you understand how to win at slots over the long term.

A popular high volatility slot: King of Atlantis

PLAYING GAME

King of Atlantis is a high volatility slot from IGT. The game is played on five reels and 40 paylines.

Symbols in this game include sea shells, golden rings, jeweled crowns, mermaids, dolphins and the almighty god of the sea – Poseidon.

This high volatility slot doesn’t have many bonus games or features (even if you bet the max). The only “special feature” you get is a round of eight free spins, activated when a trident symbol lands next to Poseidon.

A popular low volatility slot: Hotline

PLAY hotline

Hotline is one of NetEnt’s most popular slots.

To beat the slot you’ll need to travel back in time to the 80’s, wear clothes you wouldn’t be proud of today and use your skills to solve a police case. This Hame is based on the cult TV series Miami Vice and when you hit the slot you have to help the two detectives to catch a jewelry thief.

As this slot’s paytable suggests, Hotline is a low volatility game where wins are frequent but small. If that’s what you’re looking for, choose this slot machine and enjoy the adventure!

Try Hotline Now at this online casino.

Don’t go with the obvious option

No matter how impressive an online casino is, you need to do some research before you start spinning reels if you want any chance of winning at slots.

All casino sites (like all poker sites, let’s face it) want your credit card and money. They offer free spins or deposit bonus codes to get you onto their platform and then let you play as much as possible. In other words, they want your money.

If you can afford to play slots for real money, great. As long as the site you want to play at is a legit and regulated online casino.

Regulators like the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC) and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) are working hard to eliminate rogue operators from the online gambling industry.

Your licensing systems are your best allies. All measures in place are there to help you play slots games on sites that use verified random number generators and pay winnings to their players.

An important factor to consider when trying to figure out how to choose a slot is to check if an online casino is licensed by the UKGC and/or the MGA. Regardless of the casino bonus they offer you or the insanely fixed maximum number of free spins they promise.

You should never play online poker or select slots at unlicensed casino sites.

The list of legal casinos varies from country to country or state to state as is the case in the United States. What’s available online in Michigan may not be playable online in California – and legal NJ casino sites are all different from those in Pennsylvania.

On this page you will find a complete list of all online casinos licensed in your country.

Bet higher

Many players try to land their winnings on penny slots, the cheapest slot games in online gambling. If you’re one of them, pay attention to the next slot tips – especially if you think you’ve struck gold the moment you’ve discovered a penny progressive jackpot slot machine.

The strategy on how to improve your chances of winning at penny slots is behind bets larger than $0.01 as these bets usually do not unlock bonus rounds. And if you want to qualify for that jackpot you’re so drawn to, you’ll probably need to place bets on every payline, making your total bet amount to well over a penny.

Conclusion: Any collection of slots tips or casino strategies will tell you that you cannot win a progressive jackpot with a minimum bet. And that’s right.

Top wins are always associated with the maximum bets. When you play slots you can’t become a multi-millionaire with just 0.01. In slots, like video poker, the higher the stake – the more you can win. And at the same time, the smaller the stake, the smaller the winnings.

So, yes: your stake determines how much you win on slots.

Slot machine payouts are proportional to what you bet in the game. If your slot strategy is to play small bets, don’t change it. Just don’t expect to make unreasonably large wins.

As you now understand, betting more money helps you win more at online slots… but it also jeopardizes your slots strategy and risks losing your entire bankroll much faster.

Because of this, higher denomination slots are also more risky than lower denomination slots. People play them the same way and follow the same slot tips…but the big wins only happen on the high denomination slots where you can also risk losing a lot of money.

Always keep this in mind, especially if you enjoy playing slots with progressive jackpots. Jackpot slots can be expensive. With many games, you only have access to the top payouts if you bet the maximum – and that is why proper slots and bankroll strategy are essential to have a chance of winning at slots.

Risk is always a major factor in gambling. And it is always up to you to decide how much you want to risk while playing.

Never gamble with more money than you can afford to lose, and never underestimate the risks of gambling addiction – even when playing fun slots games for free. And if you feel like things are getting out of hand, seek professional help.

An expensive slot to play with max bets: Space Wars

PLAYING GAME

Space Wars is an online slot by NetEnt. This online game is the web version of a classic popular slot that you will find in almost all live casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

When playing Space Wars for real money you can choose between 0.4 (minimum bet) and 20 (maximum bet) per spin. The currency depends on your location.

This game doesn’t have a progressive jackpot, so you don’t really have to bet the maximum every time you spin. Start with smaller bets and move up. You will see the difference in the payouts.

Space Wars is a fast-paced video slot with five reels, four rows and 40 paylines. The payout rate is 96.8%.

Trust other players

This is one of those slot tips that you shouldn’t apply to many other casino games. While it may apply to video poker, you should not follow it if you play online poker, online blackjack, or live dealer games in general

When it comes to playing slots at a live casino, you can trust your fellow players and see how people play.

Use the information available on casino blogs and casino sites to your advantage. Browse forums, spend some time on Reddit, and read what players from Las Vegas and Atlantic City are saying about each game.

You can also join Facebook groups and ask for help there. In other words, use your internet connection before the casino takes advantage of you.

A classic slot that people play and love: Gonzo’s Quest

PLAYING GAME

Gonzo’s Quest was released in 2010 and it still hasn’t lost its place as one of the best online slots. That’s quite an achievement, I would say.

This popular slot features five reels, 20 paylines and an adventurer (Gonzalo ‘Gonzo’ Pizzarro) searching for the lost city of gold.

Players love this little guy and follow his adventures. Gonzo’s Quest is one of the top rated slots of all time by players, casinos and casino critics alike.

Should You Play Branded Slots?

Branded slots are a lot of fun. When you choose a branded slot, play your favorite heroes and spin the reels while feeling a part of the movies, TV series and shows you love.

While these games are great to play, branded slots are also the “bait” that many online casinos use to attract beginners who don’t know how to pick a good slot.

Remember the “not making the obvious choice” point? If you are a huge Game of Thrones fan, how likely is it that you would go straight for the Game of Thrones slots when you see them on the list?

Most likely.

You don’t have to be a psychologist, consumed marketer or casino operator to realize that. Luckily, you don’t have to be a hardcore player to know how to pick a winning slot either.

The developers paid a pretty penny to get the rights to launch slots with popular brands and franchises. So they don’t let you go down with the bets. And those games won’t be the easiest to win either.

While the casino and developer have invested heavily in the names you see on screen, you are the one who can make the investment worthwhile. Or not.

Take advantage of free spins

Finding a good casino bonus is essential to playing slots online – especially if you want to get a little edge. The most common types of bonuses include free spins, extra money that matches your deposit and special offers for returning players.

Most slots bonuses only allow you to play a certain selection of slots for free. All information about which games are part of each offer is included in the Terms and Conditions.

The following five sites are the ones offering the best free bonuses for playing online slots this month:

Don’t forget the wagering requirements!

How can you win at slots with free spins when hundreds of hidden conditions have to be met before you can withdraw your winnings?

Wagering requirements can spoil the fun of playing slots with free spins. There’s no arguing. But there are still free spins bonuses that can be worthwhile.

These are the wager free bonus offers.

A limited number of online casinos give you no deposit free spins upon registration (yes, no deposit required to play). And that without any conditions.

There is no win cap, you can cash out anything you want, whenever you want and there are no wagering requirements. How good is that?

Free Spins Slot: Pyramid Quest For Immortality

PLAYING GAME

Travel the world with slots… and use your free spins welcome bonus as your ticket!

The Pyramid: Quest for Immortality slot features five reels, 720 paylines and an RTP of 96.4%. This game takes you to ancient Egypt and makes you explore the hidden and mystical world of the pharaohs, gods… and of course the pyramids.

Is it better to stop a slot machine?

A lot could be said about the way people play slot machines.

While the lazy type lets their bankroll dwindle while the Auto Play feature does the hard work for them, for the most superstitious it’s all about feathery touches or heavy hits on the spin button.

And – what about the “clever ones”? Those who swear that winning at slots is all about stopping the reels at the right time with the second press of the spin button?

These are the easiest to spot.

They focus on their game like a laser, and their rapid fire of button presses is one of the most repetitive and well-timed moves in the entire casino.

This does not change with online slots either. Although these gamers tend to use up their keyboard’s space bar and their mouse’s left button much faster than any other gamer in the world.

Why do they do that?

These players believe that if you can stop the reels fast enough, you can control the outcome of your spin and decide what combination appears on the screen.

In theory it makes sense.

You press the spin button, see the reels move around the screen, quickly press the spin button again to stop the reel dance once you see a winning combination about to appear.

So is it better to stop a slot machine with a second push of the spin button?

You should not stop a slot machine. Although this may have been a difficult but profitable trick to win on very old slot machines, let me get this straight:

Pausing the reels will not help you take home more cash.

In fact, it could have the opposite effect and lead to bigger losses. When you pause a slot yourself, you decrease the Time of Spin (TOS), which makes the game play faster.

Imagine:

A slot takes about 10 seconds (on average) to complete a spin from start to finish. This is the “Terms of Use”.

If you stop the slot machine, you can reduce the TOS to three seconds.

Depending on the terms of use, a 30 minute session can range from a minimum of 180 spins to a maximum of 600 spins.

How to improve your chances of winning at slot machines

The best way to improve your chances of winning slots is to ask the right questions and look for the right numbers. There are no easy hacks, slots tips or tricks to win at slots.

If you want better odds of winning at slot machines, you must:

Choose the slot machines with high payouts. Choose the slots with the right volatility. Choose the slot machine with the highest return to player licensed online casino site

While this may not be enough to beat slots and pick the winning slot every time you play, it will help you win more often and – more importantly – enjoy playing slots a lot more!

What triggers a jackpot on a slot machine?

Slot machines contain random number generators that can generate thousands of numbers per second, each of which is associated with a different combination of symbols. Whether you win or lose is determined by the random number generated in the exact instant you activate each play—if it matches a payline, you win.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Slot machines generally have three or more “reels”, each of which has a row of symbols. While physical slots can have 20 or more symbols per reel, digital technology allows them to do much more – some have 256 virtual symbols – with millions of possible combinations. The combinations of symbols that pay out when you wager on them are called “paylines”.

Slot machines contain random number generators that can generate thousands of numbers per second, each associated with a different combination of symbols. Winning or losing is determined by the random number generated at the precise moment you activate each game – if it matches a payline, you win. Because each spin is independent, random, and independent of previous or future spins, it is impossible to predict what will happen on each game.

How can you tell when a slot machine is going to hit?

No one looking at the slot machine can predict the number it will choose next. This is why a slot machine can never be said to be “due” to hit a jackpot. It is also why those systems you find on the Internet will never work.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Telling when a machine is “vulnerable” is the holy grail of the slot world

By Frank Legato

It’s one of the most frequently asked questions among slot players: which machines will be hit? Or how do I know when a machine is due? Or which machines are the best to play at the moment?

Not only are these among the most frequently asked questions in letters to this and other gaming magazines; They’re questions asked at slot machines and floor managers in casinos across the country, “Where are the hot machines?”

Despite all that has been written about how the modern slot machine works, the notion still prevails among players that these questions can be answered – that the attendants can give you a hot tip on a machine that’s about to hit; that some outward signs visible on a slot machine may show that a machine is close to a jackpot.

This notion is supported by the plethora of “slot system” junk available on the internet and elsewhere that offers “visual cues” as to when a game is “about to hit”.

The Internet “systems” are all scams, and the notion that machines are “due” is misguided. This is because a slot machine’s computer is constantly selecting new outcomes – outcomes that have nothing to do with what the machine was doing three spins ago, four hours ago, in the past week, or in the past year.

It all boils down to our old friend: the random number generator. Basically, a slot machine’s computer contains a digital duplication of physical reels. Prior to the early 1980’s, the probability of hitting jackpots and their probability on each give spin depended on how many symbols and spaces – known as “stops” – were on each physical reel. The old electromechanical slots had 22 stops on each reel. By logging the symbols that landed on each reel, it was possible to perform calculations that would give you the probability of a jackpot on any given spin.

However, that changed with the computerization of the process. For casinos, the problem with physical stops was that the odds of hitting the highest jackpot could only be as great as the number of stops on each reel would allow. The use of a random number generator allows for “virtual” reels – a computer simulation of reels containing as many symbols as the programmer desires. Numbers in the program represent each stop on each reel. If the programmer wants a low-paying or non-paying symbol — say, a space — to appear more often, it will be duplicated in the program so the random number generator will pick it more often.

So instead of 22 stops per reel, you might have 60 stops, hundreds of stops – as many as the programmer wants while staying within the odds limits set by the state. Because of this, odds can no longer be calculated using a formula involving the number of symbols on physical reels. The 22 symbols visible to the player no longer represent the slot machine probabilities. They indicate the symbols that can lead to combinations, but the player cannot know how many numbers these symbols correspond to. The more of these the computer suspects to be on a reel, the more likely it will be selected by the RNG.

The all important RNG

The random number generator in a slot machine is exactly what the name suggests – it is a software program that generates random numbers from the list of numbers entered to represent each reel stop. The RNG generates more than a hundred sets of numbers every second, continuously, even when the slot machine is idle. Because of this, every outcome on a slot machine is independent of every other outcome. The random generation of numbers is continuous and no one sitting at a machine can predict which of the numbers the RNG has generated at the moment you press the spin button.

When you hit the spin button, the computer takes a snapshot of the numbers generated by the RNG at that moment and translates them into a reel outcome. Just before you press the button, the RNG will generate a completely different set of numbers; a moment later, another sentence. No one looking at the slot machine can predict what number they will pick next.

Because of this, a slot can never be said to be “due” to hit a jackpot. This is also the reason why the systems you find on the internet will never work.

One system being circulated around the internet is that you can look for “patterns” on the reels of a traditional-style slot machine to get clues as to when the next spin is going to be a jackpot, and adjust your bet accordingly . Another actually asks the player to watch out for wobbles on the reels of a traditional slot machine. Wager a single coin until you see the reels wiggle and then bet the maximum because the wiggle means there is a jackpot coming up.

These gimmicks are all nonsense. No “pattern” made up of symbols in the payout window – for example an “X” made up of bar symbols – indicates what’s coming next. And “wobbly” reels can mean the slot is old and in need of repair, but nothing else. The physical reels are only there to do what the computer tells them to do. They are display mechanisms. They do the same thing as a video screen – tell the player the result that the computer’s RNG came up with.

Tips from companions

Many players still feel that a slots attendant or other ground person who is in one place all day can tell them which machines are “hot” – in other words, which machines will pay out. You toss the employee a tip to identify a hot machine.

It’s a waste of money. Even if a particular machine has paid off all day, that’s no indication that it’ll pay off tonight as well. Slot machine cycles are unpredictable.

The only thing a staff member on the floor can give you is historical information. The only place this historical information can be useful on a slot machine floor is in a progressive bank – one that has been in the same place for a long time. The useful historical information that a member of staff can give you here is how much the progressive jackpot has reached on this game. If it’s significantly higher, other players familiar with the link will play that bank of slots more than normal – the phenomenon of “jackpot fever”. Jackpot Fever pushes more coins through the game. With more changes for one of these machines to generate the winning combination, it is more likely to hit.

More likely, but not guaranteed. And that’s the main part of my message: Even if a progressive course is higher than it’s ever been, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s definitely going to strike any time soon. It could go higher and higher – and wait for your bankroll to run out.

What is the best day of the week to go to casino?

If you are looking to play alongside the crowd, the best days to go to a casino are Saturday and Sunday as well as any national holidays. You can do the opposite by going on weekdays or off-season periods to experience a less crowded gambling floor.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

We explain what are the best days to go to the casino and how you can increase your chances of winning during your visit to the local casino.

Wondering what is the luckiest day to visit the local casino? Players who enjoy their visit to the casino are usually the ones who have considered several factors before embarking on a trip. Certain factors allow you to get the most out of your bankroll, time and enjoyment from your visit. Others who think they should go to Las Vegas or Atlantic City when they are incredibly lucky tend to have an unsatisfactory experience. We break with superstition by discussing the reasons why certain days are the best for you to visit the casino.

Much like shopping at a supermarket or mall during a sale, you can get great value by visiting a casino if they have special offers or promotions on a particular day. These promotions can be as simple as a Multiplier Monday, increasing the points on your VIP or Rewards card with every bet. These points usually give you free spins and other offers.

Promotions

Much like shopping at a supermarket or mall during a sale, you can get great value by visiting a casino if they have special offers or promotions on a particular day. These promotions can be as simple as a Multiplier Monday, increasing the points on your VIP or Rewards card with every bet. These points usually give you free spins and other offers.

Aside from casino offers, you should also look out for hotel room or restaurant promotions if the gambling hub is outside of your city or state. Take advantage of 25% to 50% off rooms in the low season, making July and August the best time to go to a casino. Any savings you make on your lodging, dining and entertainment can be credited to your casino or poker room budget.

crowds

Having a large group of guests on the casino floor may affect or detract from your experience. Crowds can be an advantage if your goal involves a higher progressive jackpot on popular slots. Local progressive slots can only increase their massive slots jackpot prize by customers inside the casino. With a large audience, these progressives can reach their highest level in the evening.

Note that you don’t have to be lucky enough to get the top possible prize on a progressive slot. These slots often have smaller or smaller jackpot payouts that also increase as more people play them. Smaller jackpot payouts are easier to come by than large ones.

Card counting is another reason you might want to play when the casino is crowded. While card counting is legal and allowed in certain establishments, gambling centers like Las Vegas frown on the practice. Playing with a large number of guests at the blackjack table can help you avoid receiving unwanted attention from security or pit bosses.

On the other hand, crowds can be a nuisance to other players. When the card tables are full, it can take a long time for the dealer to get your turn. While everyone can play at a roulette or craps table at the same time, it’s still annoying as you have bodies squeezing just to see the results.

Crowds are also a nuisance when you want to play your favorite slots. Slots that are exclusive to certain casinos or based on popular TV shows are usually not available when there is a lot of foot traffic on the gaming floor.

If you want to play alongside the crowd, Saturday and Sunday and all national holidays are the best days to go to a casino. You can do the opposite, going on weekdays or off-season to experience a less crowded playing space.

What are the best days to go to the casino and win?

extra money

It pays to bring plenty of cash to your casino visit. You want to have more than enough to play the games you want while having enough cash to enjoy other amenities of the casino or the city itself.

Ideally, you want to use money that isn’t part of your disposable income. There are many sources for your extra money, e.g. B. paying back the money you borrowed to someone you know or selling your old stuff. If you get a big tax refund or a big performance bonus from work in one day, that’s the best day to win at a casino.

How much extra cash is enough for your visit to a casino? One method is to consider the games you play and the cost of playing them for an hour. If you want to fully enjoy the slots or tables throughout your visit, remember to bring just enough cash for the visit. On the other hand, if you intend to get rich on your trip, don’t worry about taking too much money with you.

Casino Events

To get the most out of your visit to major gambling centers, you should do so during major events. Places like Las Vegas are the setting for incredible sporting events like boxing matches. These games are not just mere fights, but title defenses between popular champions and worthy challengers. One of the best examples is George Foreman and Michael Moorer in 1994, where the old world heavyweight champion proved his worth on the MGM Grand Ring.

Concerts, stand-up comedy, musicals and other shows should also be considered when planning a visit to a casino. You have the likes of Chaka Khan, Rod Stewart and AC/DC taking over the stadium with their incredible tunes. Take the opportunity to catch regular shows that take place nearby every day, such as the Blue Man Group.

It pays to plan and reserve tickets or a seat for a casino event as early as possible. Casino directories and travel sites are your friends when it comes to getting notified of important events in specific gambling centers.

leisure

One of the best times to play slots, blackjack and other casino games is when you have a lot of free time. All the money and happiness in the world would mean nothing if you couldn’t spend it.

Free time can come in different ways for different people, e.g. B. Long weekends with public holidays like Presidents Day, which occurs on the third Monday in February. In the EU you have St. Patrick’s Day or the Spring Bank Holiday which gives you three full days to visit any casino center. Keep crowds in mind when visiting casinos in your area during the major holidays, as other patrons are likely to be spending their free time on the gaming floor.

Paid vacation time is the best kind of time off you can get when planning your visit to a casino. Companies require you to use them every year before replacing them with new ones. Paid vacations allow you to choose the time to visit gambling centers. If you want to mingle with the crowds during the holidays or enjoy the casino alone during the off-season, the choice is yours.

I plan to go to the casino.

Don’t let superstition decide when you should take a fun trip to your favorite casino. Simple and practical reasons such as crowd, budget and free time ensure that you enjoy your visit to any of the major gambling centers.

Can you manipulate a slot machine?

Every device or tool used to manipulate mechanical reels no longer work with all slot machines in major casinos since every game is digital. There are no physical points in modern slot machines that allow a cheater to control the results or get free spins.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Slot machines are fascinating scammers and hackers all over the world. Many of them have smart but effective slot cheating tools and devices.

Scammers have used a wide range of tools and devices to steal money from slots and slot machines. These devices are designed to manipulate certain aspects of a slot machine such as B. its RNG algorithm. In this article we look at the cheating devices used in a casino and if they can still be used today.

⚠️ This article and our website do not condone or encourage any form of fraud. This is fun content about methods and tools that have been used to hack and manipulate slot machines over the years. DO NOT CHEAT. JE.

Used for cheating devices on slot machines

Before we talk about scammers’ devices, it’s worth understanding which parts of a slot machine these tools are aimed at. Let’s start with old slot machines that use mechanical reels to generate the game’s outcomes. One of the classic cheating methods is to control the reels until the winning combination stops within the payline.

Another method of hacking old and modern slot machines is the mechanism of taking coins or money. On older machines, scammers find ways to get free spins by triggering the coin slot mechanism without paying anything.

As new machines accept bills only, while coin-only machines are being phased out, criminals are finding other ways to exploit these machines. Scammers can use a sticker on an invoice to get a huge number of spins for a very cheap price.

Regarding modern slot machines, scammers have found a method to control the source code of digital slot machines. Access to the inner workings of a game that allows anyone to get combinations that bring big payouts. An alternative method is to determine how a slot machine’s RNG works. Figuring out the algorithm allows cheaters to spin the reels when the chances of a big cash prize are high. Cheat codes are combinations used to force a slot game to pay out.

Lists of slot cheating devices

Now that you are familiar with a slot machine’s weak spots, here are the devices that scammers use to target these spots.

computer chip

To explain this device we need to talk about Dennis Nikrasch. He was a popular hacker who found an opportunity to crack the slot machine source code by buying a used slot machine. Dennis disassembled the machine and found the chip that generates the outcome of a game.

Dennis has developed a modified chip that he uses to manipulate active slots in a casino. With the help of his companions and a modified chip, Dennis was able to steal a total of $3.7 million in one evening. Dennis and his team could have escaped cleanly had it not been for a major argument among the members. This argument resulted in one of his team charging Dennis with the cheating.

lightstick

Invented by Tommy Glenn Carmichael, a notorious hacker who has been rigging slot machines for nearly 40 years, the Light Wand targets a slot machine’s coin payout mechanism. With its shape and lightbulb, Carmichael uses the wand to cover the optical sensor in the coin slot.

To pull off this cheating technique, Carmichael only needs a small win for the machine to release its coin. Slot machines usually have a sensor to detect how much they are paying out to ensure the player receives the correct amount of money. By using the light wand, Carmichael is able to prevent the machine from knowing how much she spent her coins. This method allows Tommy to empty a machine with only a small win.

PRNG cracker app

A slot PRNG system passes a seed or key to a complex algorithmic formula, which generates the game’s outcome on every spin. To achieve semi-natural randomness for each outcome, the seed usually comes from some real-world aspect like the system clock of a server running the game.

With a PRNG cracker app installed on a phone, scammers can determine at what point a slot uses a seed that has a high-paying outcome. Your phone will alert you by vibrating when you want them to spin the reels. Criminals can easily gain an unfair advantage using this method since they don’t need to install a modified chip or do anything suspicious on the slot machine.

piano string

This scam requires an insider who can open a mechanical slot and attach an extended piano wire to the reel mechanism. When an accomplice is placed on the playing surface, it plays a rigged slot. This customer can stop the reels in a position that can give them a huge payout by pulling the piano string.

While the method was easy to achieve if a cheater has the right connection, there is a high risk of being spotted as it requires the player to pull the piano cable. A group of criminals playing a wired piano arcade machine immediately caught the attention of security after receiving a massive payout.

magnet

Another popular and low-tech way of manipulating a slot is to use a magnet. Cheaters levitate the magnet onto the mechanical reels and stop them when high value symbols land on the payline.

This method does not require a player to break open a slot machine, and a criminal can use any powerful magnet at their disposal. What makes this an unpopular cheating device is the act of holding a magnet to the slot, which can result in anyone drawing unwanted attention from security.

Fake Coin

As a money laundering tool, criminals use fake coins to play slot machines and turn the winnings into legitimate cash. Louis “The Coin” Colavecchio is one of the notorious criminals who used this device to steal casinos.

What has made Colavecchio famous is the impeccable design of its counterfeit coins and tokens. Supervisors and even experts will find it difficult to identify Colavecchio’s coin with the real one when placed side by side. Experts even need a microscope to find the smallest flaw

Bill Validator Sticker

Scammers didn’t have to dabble in counterfeiting bills to hack a slot machine, which a bill validator sticker does. This tool is applied to a small paper bill like $1. When cheaters insert a ticket with a sticker into a slot machine, the validator will identify the ticket as a $100 bill and not a smaller one.

This method allows criminals to trick a slot machine into giving them a large number of credits without raising suspicion.

List of slot cheating devices

Can cheat devices still work?

Any device or tool used to manipulate mechanical reels will no longer work with all slot machines in major casinos since every game is digital. In modern slot machines there are no physical points that allow a cheater to control the results or get free spins.

Slot machines around the 90’s converted their coin slot to bill validators. These machines also changed their way of paying customers with coins, printing out their winnings on paper tickets. This transition will make fraud devices such as counterfeit coins or glow sticks obsolete.

Of all the changes, the upgrade in casino surveillance and security measures made it harder for criminals to use cheating devices. Staff are on the lookout for suspicious behavior from their guests, including unusual slot machine handling. As part of their surveillance network, an AI program monitors all casino activity to prevent criminal behavior and catch all cheaters.

The regulatory authorities have also become stricter with their security requirements among software providers. This includes the use of SHA-3 hashing algorithms, which prevent any party from tampering with the slot’s ability to produce outcomes. In addition, every employee of a regulatory agency is screened before being hired and must have their work checked by another staff member. This personnel limitation is intended to prevent another Ronald D. Harris from using his position for personal gain like an employee.

Slots Hacking Tools: Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a little information about cheat devices in the form of a question and answer format to take away.

What are slot cheating devices? Slot hacking devices are tools used to manipulate various parts of a slot machine. There are devices to control the mechanical reels that allow cheaters to get whatever symbols they want to land on the payline. What Cheating Devices Work With Digital Slots? For digital slots, devices like the PRNG cracker app are great, which can tell a hacker when to spin the reels when there is a favorable outcome. How does a scammer use a computer chip to hack a slot machine? A modified chip needs to be installed on the circuit board of a target slot machine. This method usually requires an insider to open a slot cabinet to install the chip on the slot. Once installed, an accomplice uses the chip-provided exploit to generate high-paying results. What are bill validator stickers? These stickers are applied to low-denomination bills, turning them into high-paying bills when inserted into a slot machine. Are these cheating devices still used in modern casinos? Over the years, casinos have found ways to prevent these cheating devices from being used on their slot machines, such as phasing out mechanical slot machines. Upgrading their surveillance and security surveillance system also allowed casinos to stop criminals from using new tools on their slot machines.

How much money should you put in a slot machine?

Having a goal in mind can help you find the right slots money amount to bring with you. If you are looking to get a large payout, it pays to bring as much disposable cash as possible. For a casual experience, you just need to set aside about 10% to 25% of your travel budget to enjoy any slot games.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Deciding on the money you should bring to play casino slots depends on your goal, the RTP and volatility of the slots, and your bets per hour cost.

Have you experienced a time when you ran out of money while visiting a casino and were never satisfied with the slots you played? Are you constantly procrastinating on playing online slots or slot machines because you are not sure if you just don’t have enough bankroll? In this article we will help you know how much you should bring to a casino and how to get the most out of your slots money.

Factors that determine your slots bankroll

A good rule of thumb for how much money you are going to spend on slots is to consider three factors.

Cost of bets per hour

Think about the slots you want to spend the most time playing and how much money was left after playing them for a long period of time. Did you burn $100 in less than an hour or did you get enough spins for more than two hours?

If you haven’t played slot games before, consider playing any free online slot of a game that fascinates you for two hours. Make a note of how much credit you’ve spent during that time and increase it by half that amount, which is the ideal slot money to spend on your favorite game. For brick-and-mortar casinos, your best source of information is long-time regular customers who can tell you how much it costs to play physical slots.

Slot volatility and RTP

With a focus on casino slots in Las Vegas or online slots, it pays to know the volatility and RTP rate of a game. Volatility indicates the risk associated with the game where low volatility slots tend to give a lot of wings with fewer payouts, while high volatility slots offer low wins and high payouts. Another value to consider is a slot machine’s RTP, which represents the advantage players have over the house.

Expect to lose a significant amount of your slots money in a short period of time if you plan to play high volatility slots with a low RTP. On the other hand, high RTP, low volatility slots allow you to stretch your total bankroll for a long time.

player goal

What is your goal when you visit a casino? Do you double your starting bankroll? Want to kill time before a meeting or event begins? Do you just want to enjoy your favorite slot regardless of how much time you’ve spent on it?

Having a goal in mind can help you find the right amount of slots money to bring with you. If you’re looking for a big payout, it pays to bring as much available cash as you can. For a casual experience, you only need to allocate around 10% to 25% of your travel budget to enjoy slot games.

How much money should I bring to play slots?

Maximize your slots money

Once you’ve set your budget, it comes down to how you can get the most out of your slots money. Here are some of the strategies that will help you enjoy your casino experience to the fullest.

Avoid borrowing money to gamble

Chances are very high that you will lose your bankroll after playing for a certain amount of time. You don’t want to double the frustration of your loss by having to see those losses on your credit card statement.

It’s a good idea to set aside cash for your slot machine money when you visit a casino. When it comes to online casino slots, use a debit card or a prepaid card instead of your credit card.

Set aside half of your winnings

Received a big payout from a physical or online no download slots game? Consider putting half of that win aside and keep playing. Players often don’t think that big wins are just more ammo to get more.

Unfortunately, slots are unlikely to be generous even after the reels have been spun multiple times. By taking home at least half of your winnings, you can still enjoy the fruits of that lucky spin.

Take advantage of free slot machines

If your goal is just to kill time or play your favorite game as much as possible, free online slots are the way to go. You can find them on almost every online gambling site, as well as review sites.

While free games don’t have the same thrills as real money slots, they offer just enough distraction to get you through a long wait or help you save on your winnings.

Look for deposit bonuses and free spins

Keep an eye out for online slots bonuses or physical casino bonuses. These promotions are usually bonus cash based on your deposit amount or free spins on qualifying slots. Physical casinos may have slot tournaments that offer incredible cash prizes.

By taking advantage of the available promotions you can stretch your slots money when playing at any online or physical casino.

Set your loss and win limits

One of the most common quotes you’ll hear from players is “I should have quit when I was ahead”. Wouldn’t it be frustrating to have doubled your initial slot money only to lose it again after several spins?

It pays to limit your losses and winnings before entering the casino so you don’t come home with regrets.

Don’t chase your losses

If after several spins you have used up your entire play money budget, avoid trying to win it back by using part of your travel fund or by borrowing money. Losing more money chasing your losses will only make you more frustrated.

Always remember that your play money budget is for entertainment only and not for making money.

Knowing your target bankroll, volatility and RTP as well as your primary goal can help you determine how much slot money you should set aside. Using our methods of maximizing your budget can also help you have a positive slots experience.

What casinos don’t want you to know about slots?

15 Secrets Casinos Don’t Want You To Know
  • Slots Are Placed Strategically.
  • Many Slots Are Programmed To Pay Less Than Others.
  • Some Slots Hook You With Smaller But More Frequent Wins.
  • Slots Don’t Get Hot Or Cold.
  • Casinos Avoid Windows & Clocks To Trick Your Perception Of Time.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Casinos have several well-kept secrets that are hidden in plain sight, which is why the house often always wins. Let’s uncover a few.

Gambling and casino operators have several well-kept casino secrets that are hidden from view, which is why the house often always wins. Below are the most exciting secrets that casinos don’t want you to know.

1. Slots are strategically placed

In every casino, all slots are placed with winnings in mind. There is almost no establishment that places a random selection of slots on their floor.

Managers and casino owners go through their casino floor plans and focus on the areas with the most traffic. High traffic areas are ideal locations for premium slots, often located near the entrance or in locations connected to other parts of the casino such as the casino floor. B. in-house shopping centers or hotels.

When we say premium slots, these games get the most wagers from casino guests. Slots, which you see further down the line, are ignored by most people or get less bets than the average bets within a company. You can be sure that the best slot machines in casinos are the ignored cabinets.

2. Many slot machines are programmed to pay out less than others

New players will probably get confused how they get more wins for every 100 of their spins in a slot machine, but get less wins in a game. This is due to the variance rate of the game. The variance measures the risk/reward ratio for each game.

Medium RTP high variance slots are what you want for higher payouts. In return for the high risk and fewer wins, these types of slots allow you to double or quadruple your initial bankroll after several spins.

3. Some slots will enchant you with smaller but more frequent wins

If you get more winning spins on a certain game, you are probably playing a slot with a high RTP. Return to Player (RTP) is a statistical measure of how much return a slot machine can offer. Pay attention to how much you get from this type of game as these slots tend to give a small payout for every win.

High RTP slots will keep you playing long enough to gradually lose a large chunk of your bankroll to the house. On the other hand, with this type of slots you have full control over your losses.

4. Slot machines don’t get hot or cold

There are no hot or cold slots that increase or decrease your payout odds under certain conditions. You will also never find a slots cheat code that will increase your chances of winning. Your chances of winning are always the same in the evening and in the morning or after a casino employee has serviced a machine.

Unfortunately, digital slot machines do not have a mechanism that changes their payout percentage. All slots use a gaming PRNG algorithm to determine the outcomes or symbols that land on the reels for each spin. That slot machines have a winning or losing streak is perhaps the most widely believed misconception and legend.

5. Casinos avoid windows and clocks to trick your sense of time

Enter any casino around the world. You will find that you cannot see outside or tell the time. If you stare at your phone for a long time, chances are security will politely ask you to put your device away.

Casinos remove any reminder that you spend hours playing on their gaming floor. If you keep playing, you will likely lose your bankroll to the house. Windows are distractions, and distractions waste valuable casino revenue.

6. Game developers start using funny animations even if you lose as a thinking trick

Digital casino RNG games tend to have flashy animations and sounds every time you play a round. It makes sense that you’ll get euphoric visuals and audio from every win, including big ones.

However, pay attention to the animation and the sound when you lose. Notice how they make you feel like you’re just a few symbols away from a big payout, or that one scatter symbol is missing to trigger the bonus feature. These animations are designed to make you feel so miserable that you keep spinning the reels until you get the endorphin-rich audio and visual of a big payout.

7. Huge jackpots are often played across multiple casinos

The major progressive slots, which can easily exceed the $1 million mark, are linked across various casinos across the country. Progressive jackpots come from a small portion of a player’s bet. The more people play a certain title, the bigger its jackpot can get. The reason why the top paying casinos in Las Vegas often have jackpot prizes worth $1 million is because of their progressive slots that are linked together.

As a way for popular progressive slots to build up their massive jackpot amount, a small fraction of player wagers are taken by every slot across the country and beyond. This is how games like Mega Moolah can reach jackpot wins in excess of $10 million.

8. Blackjack, Craps & Roulette have the best odds

Of all the games in the gambling arena, blackjack, craps and roulette have the lowest house edge ranging from 0.5% to 2.70% in order. These stats show that playing these games will give you a high payout more than 97% of the time.

It is important to note that the high house edge requires players to use basic blackjack strategy and make the right bets in craps. In roulette, the house has an advantage when you are playing 0 and 00 at a table. Play at a roulette table with only one 0-spot to increase your odds against the house.

List of secrets casinos don’t want you to know

9. Both land-based and online casinos can legally ban you if you win too much too often

Casinos pay attention to high payouts. If you win a certain amount, which is usually between $10,000 and $50,000, casino security will take notice of you. Players who keep winning and growing their bankroll to incredible heights are visited by casino staff. If you are, you’ll likely receive a polite warning that they can’t afford you and be asked to leave the arcade.

It is important to note that casinos can legally ban you for playing on their property. However, you will not be banned or have your winnings denied if you hit a massive payout in a game.

10. Online casinos tease you with amazing bonuses because they know you lose more than you win

Offers that double your deposits or give you free spins are designed to get you spending money on their games. Casino bonuses give the impression that you have an incredibly large bankroll. Unfortunately, any bonus you receive must be wagered before you can withdraw it and claim it as your own money.

Once a player has used all of their bonuses, they will wager their deposited funds and try to match the same amount they had before when they received their bonus. After spending their money they will use the next promo to get more bonuses and probably repeat the same cycle of spending their deposited money.

11. Casinos love to make players believe they have a real chance of winning when they really don’t

There are betting systems like the Martingale system that are designed to make players appear as if they have a better edge over the house. However, these betting systems have been debunked to offer little to no benefit to players. This includes card counting at 6 to 8 shoe blackjack tables or even a card shuffling machine (CSM).

It pays to think like a pro and keep it simple by applying basic strategy to different games like blackjack. Betting systems, card counting and other “smart” strategies are only there to make the casino more money than the players who use them.

12. A few players don’t even stop for a bathroom break

When slot machines pay out or when a person is going through a serious winning streak, certain players have less time to think about emptying their bladder in a civilized manner. If you think this is far fetched, you have yet to experience the life of a casino staff or security guard.

One of the most common stories of dealers and pit bosses is players wearing adult diapers just to play as long as possible. Additionally, horror stories of gamers committing the act from where they’re sitting aren’t as rare as you’d like to believe.

13. Faster dealers are preferred at night

If you’ve been playing at casinos for a long time, you’ll probably find that the fastest and most experienced dealers are on the night shift. These dealers can go through more than 50 hands in an hour, allowing the tables to accept as many bets as possible.

According to our “insiders”, faster card tables are ideal at night when more guests visit a casino. Players are also pressured to make decisions with the limited time, which tends to lead to poor decisions.

14. Most casino chips contain an RFID chip

Well-known casinos use radio frequency identification (RFID) chips for various purposes, including security. Each embedded RFID chip allows casinos to track their chip’s movements. All stolen Bellagio Casino chips will be deactivated to render them unusable. Thanks to RFID technology, the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas thwarted a $1.5 million theft in 2010. Additionally, RFID tags make chip counterfeiting virtually impossible by providing casinos with the ability to authenticate their chips.

Casino management can also tag important guests at their facility through RFID chips. Staff can spot suspicious betting patterns and frequent wins among players using the chips. In addition, management may find high-rollers or big spenders among its clients. Casino staff can offer these high rollers various incentives to keep playing, such as: B. Free meals and accommodation.

It is important to note that RFID chips are only used in higher denomination chips, including active RFID tags that broadcast their signal to a base station. The use of RFID technology on expensive chips also makes it easier for employees to track a significant portion of their money. Some massive theft schemes and scams have been foiled thanks to RFID casino chips.

15. Visual and sound effects are all here to keep you awake and focused on the game

Notice how most players are completely alert and glued to the screen of a casino RNG game despite the noise and lights around them. All this is thanks to the animations, the music and the sound effects of each game.

By staying on your toes all the time, you’re probably spending more than you intend on slots, video poker, or keno machines. Because of this, guests who have used up most of their bankrolls will stop for the day and leave their seats.

Almost every secret in this list demonstrates how casinos can make their profit margins while protecting their bottom line from potential theft. Knowing these secrets is also a way to know how to beat the house.

Can you tell if a slot machine is going to hit?

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Casino games bring endless hours of fun to players. They also bring lucrative payouts that can make you very, very rich as long as you choose the right games. Of course, by the right games we mean games with a low house edge and a high return-to-player (RTP) percentage, as these two factors play an important role in the payouts.

It is important to remember that every casino game has a unique house edge. Your chances of winning depend to a large extent on this number and therefore you should not underestimate it. Another important factor to consider is the RTP, which is used to show the predicted return percentage over the long term. As you can imagine, the higher the RTP, the better. With this in mind, it is generally believed that skill-based games offer the highest odds of winning, as in such games you can influence the outcome to some degree. If you want to know which skill-based casino games come with high returns and ROI with favorable odds, keep reading the lines below.

1. Blackjack

Blackjack is a famous card game known for its low house edge. The game is played by many as it requires many skills that allow players to influence the outcome of each hand. In blackjack, the house edge depends on the number of decks used. Traditional blackjack has a house edge of around 1%, but this can be reduced with proper strategy.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that different variations of blackjack offer different house edges. We recommend playing games like Blackjack Switch or Spanish 21 as these offer incredibly low house edges: the former has a house edge of just 0.17% and the latter a house edge of 0.38%.

2. Video Poker

Many mistakenly believe that video poker is a game of chance since it is played on machines that look exactly like slot machines. Actually, the game has nothing to do with slots, because the outcome of each hand can be influenced with a suitable strategy. Keep in mind that different video poker machines often have an individual house edge, so you might want to check which machines have the lowest house edge.

Just like blackjack, video poker has variations, some more profitable than others. 9/6 games are believed to be the cheapest; these are played on fully-fledged machines. Why are 9/6 games called that? Well, because of the way winnings are paid out. For example, the house pays 9 to 1 for a full house and 6 to 1 for a flush.

To be honest, video poker machines have something in common with slots: the use of RNGs. Thanks to RNGs, your chances of making a certain combination are always the same.

3. Roulette

Playing roulette is very easy due to the simplicity of the roulette wheel. To play the game all you have to do is choose where you want to place a bet on the roulette table and wait for the dealer to spin the wheel.

Roulette is primarily considered a game of chance as it is impossible to influence the outcome of any spin. However, if you study multiple betting systems, you will be able to make wiser decisions. In addition, you can win at roulette without a strategy; All you have to do is use the outside bets.

In addition, you should know that different types of roulette have a specific house edge. For example, American Roulette, which has an additional zero leg, has a house edge of 5.26%. On the other hand, European and French roulette have a house edge of just 2.70%.

What is the easiest game to win money in a casino?

Blackjack

Blackjack has the best odds of winning, with a house edge of just 1 percent in most casinos, Bean said. Plus, you are playing against only the dealer, not hooded poker champions. “Blackjack is one of our easiest games to play,” Bean said.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Many people will be visiting a casino this summer, whether it’s on a trip to Vegas, on a cruise ship, or just at a local casino during a staycation.

But before you go, you might want to know which games give you the best odds of winning.

So we went behind the scenes at two casinos and spoke to the game managers to find out which games give you an edge.

Table games your best bet

Jay Bean, a floor manager at Caesar, agreed to sit down with us and talk about the games with the best odds.

He said many people don’t realize that table games have much better odds than slots. Intimidated by thoughts of card sharks taking their money, with images of an intense Texas Hold ‘Em tournament in their minds, they stick to the safer games: the slots.

But they’re doing themselves a disservice, he said.

Bean’s advice? After spending some time at the slots, move on to the blackjack table and start just watching.

1. Blackjack

Blackjack has the best odds, with a house edge of just 1 percent at most casinos, Bean said.

Also, you only play against the dealer, not against hidden poker champions.

“Blackjack is one of our easiest games to play,” Bean said. “You’re just looking for a number that beats the dealer’s without going over 21.”

If you’re a beginner, Bean said, sit down during a less busy time, like mid-afternoon, and the dealer will walk you through the game.

But the same isn’t true for poker: You should practice the game with your friends at home first, Bean said, until you’re comfortable with it. Bean said beginners are best off walking past the poker tables where, yes, the competition can be fierce.

2. Craps

So he suggests moving from the blackjack table to craps, the game with the second best odds, also close to 50-50.

The craps table can be a little intimidating for beginners with all the boxes on the table, admitted Bean. But it really isn’t difficult, and it has one of your best odds of winning. In the end, you actually only bet on one roll of the dice.

For more information on craps, visit:

http://wizardofodds.com/games/craps/

3. Roulette

Bean said your next stop should be the roulette wheel. It’s easy and pays off pretty well.

“So you bet on your favorite numbers,” Bean said. “The dealer spins and if your number comes up, you win.”

If you only bet on red or black, you have an almost 50/50 chance of walking away as a winner. If it lands red when you go red, you double your bet, Bean explained.

While it might seem that simply picking a color gives you even odds, there’s a catch that gives the house its edge: the extra green 0 and 00 position on the wheel. It’s on all American roulette -wheels.

Or, if you’re lucky, play just one number. It’s hard to win, but if you do, it pays 36 to 1.

Worst Odds

your worst chances? The casinos understandably didn’t want to talk about bad odds games.

So we turned to Forbes Magazine, which in a report on the best casino bets said that two popular games – the Wheel of Fortune and the ever-popular slots – have the lowest odds of winning with a house edge of 10 percent or more.

The experts agree

Professor of analytics Michael Magazine has crunched the numbers and agrees that blackjack is the best way to walk away with money in your pocket. He said if you take a little time to learn the game, you’ll have the best chance of winning.

“In every single hand you win between 44 and 48 percent,” he said, noting that no other casino game offers you such good odds.

But the magazine cautioned that he doesn’t encourage gambling because he said even the best-odds games still favor the house.

“Play it long enough and you will lose. In the long run, the house doesn’t lose,” the magazine said.

If you love the slot machines….

If you really enjoy playing slots, here’s some good information from the state casino reports we’ve researched.

When it comes to slot machines, the more money you wager per bet, the better your chances of winning. If you put the maximum in a penny machine, which is usually around 50 cents, you have a much better chance than if you put in 2 cents.

Additionally, penny slots have the lowest odds, with $1 and $5 slots paying much better.

Always gamble responsibly and don’t waste your money.

What is the most profitable game in a casino?

Slots. Slots are, by far, the most profitable online casino game from the perspective of the casino.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Top 10 most profitable online casino games

From Space Coast Daily // August 26, 2021

As the old saying goes, the house always wins. But what about the players? Are there games that benefit the player more than the house? Which games have the highest payouts? Much of this depends on the type of game, but also on the odds of success. With that in mind and without further ado, here are the top 10 most profitable online casino games.

1. Live Poker

Live poker is profitable because it is the only casino game that depends the most on the player’s skill. Otherwise, anyone could make a living playing poker professionally and even become multi-millionaires that way.

However, a mistake in judgment and strategy can cause you to lose a winning hand. Remember that gambling is always very emotional. Because of this, your ability to stay on top, whether you win or lose, depends on your ability to control yourself.

2. Blackjack

In blackjack, the dealer only has a 1% edge, but you, the player, start out with a 42.22% chance of winning. This makes blackjack one of the most profitable online casino games, but this creates a different kind of problem. Namely, it makes people more likely to risk everything knowing they have a decent chance of winning. Worse, it makes them more willing to make a bigger investment and look forward to a better payout.

However, if you know how to stick to a budget and know for sure that you can handle these scenarios, you probably shouldn’t worry too much about blackjack.

3. Slot machines

Slots are by far the most profitable online casino game from a casino perspective. Many people accuse slots of being rigged without even knowing how slots work. The odds of playing slots depend on the programming and the algorithm doesn’t care about individual players.

Based on programming, statistics and mathematics, winning a slot machine is guaranteed. The machine doesn’t have to play any dirty tricks, which means your chances are more or less secured. There are also different types of slot machines in online casinos where you can try your luck.

4. French Roulette

While there are many different forms of roulette, French roulette is definitely the most profitable form. The house edge can range from 1.35% to 5.26%, which is much less than the majority of players would assume. The reason why French roulette is so profitable is that it is a game where you can increase your profitability and minimize your risks by using different betting strategies.

The most common strategies of this type are Fibonacci, Martingale, Reverse Martingale, etc. All of these strategies are relatively consistent when used, but still do not guarantee success.

5. Craps

Because it is a dice-based game, many players accuse craps of being unprofitable. However, according to various polls and research, the house edge here is only 1%. One of the biggest advantages of this game is the fact that you can use smaller amounts strategically. As with any other luck-based game, the longer you play, the greater the chance of a payout. Sure, luck is a big factor, but when played right, this game can be really profitable.

6. Video Poker

Keep in mind that the house edge in video poker is usually pretty low, ranging from 0% to 5%. This is what makes it so attractive and potentially profitable for the player. The amount you can win mainly depends on the game you have chosen. The great thing about video poker is that it’s versatile and profitable. It is a perfect recipe for online gambling.

7. Baccarat

What sets baccarat apart from all the other games discussed on this list is the fact that it caters primarily to high-stakes players. That makes it quite risky, but with the right strategy and the power of self-control, it can also be quite profitable. The house edge is usually between 1.06% and 1.24%, which is significantly lower than some other games. However, this does not mean that success is guaranteed. It’s still a game of chance, so don’t bet more than you’re willing to lose.

8. Powerball

Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games available to players around the world. Keep in mind that the odds of winning the top prize are pretty slim, but considering the number of players, any potential payout would be astronomical. All of these investments contribute to the prize pool quite drastically.

9. Bingo

While not necessarily something you would consider a traditional casino game, bingo is definitely profitable for players and the casino. It’s a 5×5 matrix where you have to be the first to form a linear matrix. The winning pool is usually quite impressive and the initial investment is not that big, that’s what makes it so profitable.

10. Lottery games

The best thing about the lottery is that it offers lower rewards, making the individual player feel like the odds are high. Luckily, you don’t have to win the grand prize to cash in. There are many lower rewards that will help anger Libra. Well, on the whole, it’s important to understand that the totals paid tend to add up quickly here.

Wrap up

At the end of the day, two things that affect the game’s profitability are its popularity and the odds of winning. Sure, some games make it more enticing for players to place bigger bets; that makes them more or less profitable. However, compared to the number of games played each day, the stats are fairly consistent regardless of the size of each bet. Still, you now at least have an idea of what you’re dealing with.

What is the Best Payout Slot Machine to Play?

Casinos make money by building an advantage right into the rules of the game. This is reflected in the payout percentage and applies to all online casino games, not just slots. But like I said, that’s just an average. In a single session, there is always the potential for a big jackpot or, alternatively, a cold losing streak. That’s one of the reasons people love slot machines. They give you the opportunity to skyrocket the payout percentage with a big win.

It is easy to see that a higher payout percentage favors the player. That’s why it’s really important that you research and focus on the slots with the highest payout percentages.

Simply put, the payout percentage is the average amount of money returned to a player in the form of winnings compared to the amount the player wagered. The keyword to remember is average. The payout percentage cannot guarantee how much you will win in one session or even 100, but the more spins you take, the better the chances that your results will be closer to the machine’s payout percentage.

Play Slots With Record Breaking Payout Percentages As a savvy player, you know you need to find the slots with the best odds. It’s okay to play for entertainment and that’s usually a priority for slots players, but it’s also more fun when you have the best odds of winning and knowing you’re getting the best value for your money. In the next section we explain how to find the best games and how to give yourself the best chance of hitting a big jackpot. Or, if you want to jump right into the action, browse our comprehensive online slots reviews for a shortcut to the very best games the internet has to offer. How to Find Slots Payout Percentage Online and offline games work on the same basic principles when it comes to slot payouts. Remember that knowing the numbers is just as important whether you are playing online or in a brick and mortar casino. Online Slots If you’re looking for online casinos that actually pay out, a closer look at the payout percentages is a good place to start. You’re probably wondering where to look to find the stats. At online casinos it is usually pretty easy. The payout percentage is sometimes published on the rules or information page for the game itself, or as a list on either the online casino or the game developer’s website. If you’re having trouble figuring out where the slot’s payout percentage is listed, try a quick Google search for the game’s name and either “payout percentage” or “return to player”. If that doesn’t work, a good last resort is to contact the casino directly using their live chat or customer support tools. In general, online casinos offer better payout percentages compared to brick-and-mortar casinos. This is because they have less overhead and an unlimited number of people can play the same game at the same time. It’s common to see slots with payout percentages in the high 90’s, which is much harder to find in real life. Popular Play for Free Play for Real More Slots Play Slots at Land-Based Casinos When it comes to payout percentages, it all comes down to how slots are programmed. To complicate matters, casinos and game developers do not always publish numbers for specific machines. However, there are ways players can find out which machines have cheaper payouts. Fortunately, other people have already done most of the hard work for you. There are tons of great forums and resources for bettors online and the best place to start is with a quick Google search to find the numbers for the game you’re looking for. The geographic location can also tell you something about the payouts. In the US, casinos must meet a minimum payout percentage set by the gaming authorities in that region. It varies by state, but is typically 80% or more. It’s also true that even within the same game, payouts vary depending on how much you bet. Usually, the more you wager, the cheaper the payout percentage. Why You Can’t Cheat a Slot Payouts are random – In land-based casinos, many players spend their time predicting slot payout patterns. The truth is, when the machine is working properly, the odds are even on every single spin. The same goes for online slots. Enhanced Security – Both online slots and slot machines payouts are controlled by computers equipped with very high levels of security. It basically makes them impossible to hack. Casinos spend a lot of time and money protecting their games so that they pay out fairly. And where their security stops, law enforcement takes over. Criminal Charges – Most jurisdictions have specific laws in place that make it illegal to cheat or steal from casinos. The history of gambling is littered with tales of cheaters getting caught and losing everything. These charges carry large fines and, in some cases, significant prison terms.

Return-to-Player (RTP) Explained Another name for the payout percentage is RTP. This stands for “Return to Player” and just as the name suggests, it is the average amount returned to the player in the form of winnings compared to the amount the player wagered. It is represented as a percentage, with 100 being an even money game with no casino advantage. Let’s look at an example: Your favorite slot machine has an RTP of 95%.

For a year you play your favorite slot machine every weekend and wager a total of $1,000.

On average, this machine should set you back $950 in winnings. The most important thing to remember is that the RTP is a statistical average. The larger the sample size of spins on a particular slot, the closer the actual results are to the RTP. Even though the RTP cannot guarantee results, choosing machines with a higher RTP is always a smart move. The more you want to play, the more important it is to find a game with a great RTP.

The House Edge Explained When you hear bettors talking about the “house edge” they are actually referring to the same thing as RTP and payout percentage. The house edge is the casino’s statistical advantage built right into the rules of the game. The house has an advantage on almost every bet in the casino, but the magnitude of this advantage varies dramatically between games or even between different bets within the same game. The house edge is represented as the average percentage of your bet that the casino keeps. For example, a game with a payout percentage of 95% has a house edge of 5%. Casino Game House Edge Craps (Odds Bet) 0% Baccarat (Betting on the Banker) 1.06% Craps (Pass Line Bet) 1.41% Blackjack (Single Deck) 1.5% Pai Gow Poker 1.3% Roulette ( European wheel/single 0) 2.7%

Variance in Slots Whenever players discuss payout percentages in slots, the topic of variance usually follows. Also known as volatility or payout frequency, variance refers to how often a slot pays out jackpots and the size of the wins. Slot variance can be broken down into three types: Low variance slot games – these games often land wins, but the amounts are usually small token jackpots.

– These games often land wins, but the amounts are usually small token jackpots. Medium variance slot games – on these slot games players can expect to hit wins fairly frequently, with a combination of small token wins and larger payouts.

– On these slot games, players can expect to hit wins fairly frequently, with a combination of small token wins and larger payouts. High variance slot games – Players can experience long win droughts on these slot games, but when they cash out, the wins are huge. Casinos and slot machines don’t typically feature a game’s volatility on the paytable. However, players can find this information online or through free slot games themselves. Simply spin the reels 100 times in a free game and note what wins you land. If you trigged the paylines a lot, but the amounts were mostly no more than double the original bet, then the game is a low variance slot. If the opposite happens then it is a high variance slot. Generally, low variance slot games can be found on penny slots and small jackpot games such as; B.Quick hit. Most progressive jackpot slots like Mega Moolah are high variance, which is not surprising considering the massive jackpots they offer.

Loosest Slot Machines What is a loose slot machine? When people call slot machines “loose” and “tight,” they’re referring to the payout percentage. A looser machine will payout more frequently and at a higher percentage, while a tighter machine will have a lower RTP and payout less frequently. The looser the slots are, the better it is for the player. Because of this, you will often see casino billboards saying “The Loosest Slots in Town!” In addition to the RTP, another important statistic is the so-called “hit frequency”. This number is also a percentage and refers to how likely each spin is to result in a winning outcome for the player. It says nothing about how much the player wins, just how often the player wins money on a spin compared to losing. On average, a game with a 20% hit rate will result in a winning combination 1 in 5 times. How To Find Loose Slots If you are looking for the loosest slots, the best answer is the internet. Online casinos can offer the highest RTP because they have much lower overhead than land based casinos. When it comes to slots at a land-based casino, players have developed a few theories on how to find the loosest games. Some players believe that the loosest slot machines are always positioned in the most visible areas of the casino, as the house wants new customers to see winning people and be inspired to get in on the action. It is also believed that machines are loose near cash redemption machines as the casino wants players to cash out money to see people win and be lured back to the games. The same theory is to avoid slots near lines like the buffet and shows. The casino knows that people here are just killing time while they wait and won’t play for very long.

Slots Payouts by State As we mentioned earlier, casinos and game developers are not required to publish the payout percentages for specific games, but they do publish some valuable information about slots. First, most states set a minimum and maximum payout percentage that casinos must adhere to. Second, they publish average payout percentages that include all of the casino’s slots. Using these numbers we can get an overview of which states have the loosest slots and the highest RTP. Nevada It should come as no surprise that Nevada has the highest average RTP percentage, with the Boulder Strip being the absolute highest at 95.8%. The Las Vegas Strip is significantly lower at 93.6%, but if you head into downtown Vegas, that number jumps back up to 95.6%. Florida The state of Florida requires casinos to have a payout percentage of at least 85%, and casinos are also required to publish averages that include all of their slot machines. Depending on the area, the average values range from 90.91% to 93.55%. Illinois casinos in Illinois average between 89.18% and 92.45% depending on the area. Indiana Average payout percentages are reported by casinos in Indiana and range from 89.83% to 91.61% depending on the property. Iowa In Iowa, slots are even tighter with payout percentages starting at 89% and going up to 92% depending on the casino. Atlantic City Compared to Nevada, New Jersey has pretty tight slots. They range from 90.5% to 91.7% depending on the casino. Oklahoma Casinos in Oklahoma are not required to post information about their payout percentages, and the state has no minimum payout percentage that casinos must meet. For these reasons, Oklahoma is believed to be one of the narrower slots regions. California Like Oklahoma, California does not have a minimum payout percentage and does not require casinos to publish information about payout percentages. Some estimates put the average payout percentage in California at just 85%.

Discover the thrill of progressive jackpots Another reason so many people love slots is the chance to win a truly life-changing jackpot. Everyone knows it’s a long road, but players love to dream of what they would do with millions of dollars if they got lucky and made it big. However, in terms of RTP and payout percentage, there is always a trade-off with games that offer big jackpots. Progressive jackpots work by taking a small portion of each bet and adding it to a prize pool that keeps growing until someone wins it. It’s not uncommon for these jackpots to reach millions of dollars. The greatest of all time? A $39 million result at the Excalibur in Las Vegas. If you’re interested in the biggest prizes online, visit our progressive slots jackpots page for a comprehensive list. It’s true that the odds of winning a huge jackpot are slim, maybe even similar to a live lottery, but there’s a big difference between the lottery and slots. Slots allow you to land many smaller wins in addition to a chance at the jackpot. The truth is that people play the lottery their entire lives and never win a dime, making slots a much wiser bet.

Does Stopping the Slot Reels Early Change Your Result?

Does stopping the slot reels early change your score?

Posted by John Grochowski on Monday March 5, 2012

It’s a fairly common feature on modern video slots that once you press the button to spin the reels, you can press it again to stop them. You don’t have to wait for them to stop on their own.

That led to a question from a reader who usually plays table games.

“I try my hand at slots, usually when my wife and I play together,” he wrote. “Does stopping the reels themselves also stop the random number generator?”

I told him it really doesn’t make a difference. Almost all games remain random if you stop the reels yourself. The random numbers that determine your outcome for this spin have already been determined before you stop the reels. Game designers call this the “Illusion of Skill”. You feel like you are in control of the game. Your timing when the reels stop makes no real difference.

There are a few games in IGT’s Reel Edge series that require real skill, including Blood Life and Triple Red White and Blue. In these, touch each reel to stop them individually and you can

affect the result. In theory, a player who was really good at stopping the reels on the right symbols could get an edge. In practice, the reels spin extremely fast and the symbols are mostly blurry.

In a Blood Life test, I decided the green 7s were noticeable enough that I might be able to pick them out. And I got all three 7s to stop in the slot window – but not on the same payline. I have my doubts that anyone could play well enough to gain an advantage.

With other video slots, however, you will get whatever the random number generator says, with or without an early stop.

12 Sneaky Ways To Cheat At Slots

Slots are among the most lucrative games on the casino floor for both players and the house – and cheaters.

With such huge payouts available, it’s no wonder that slot machines have always been a game of cat and mouse between scammers and the house since their invention.

Let’s take a look at some of the cheeky tricks used by slots scammers over the years. However, we do not recommend ever trying them for yourself!

1. Cheat code

Gambling authorities are there to ensure that the gambling industry operates correctly and fairly.

Engineers design slot machines to be monitored and audited while still providing quality gameplay. But what happens when an engineer decides to manipulate the codes for his own benefit?

Notorious slots cheat Ronald Dale Harris – aka the Nevada Gaming Commission engineer – did just that. He sure knew how to rig a slot machine!

For years he cheated machines by knowing the source codes. It wasn’t until his partner had a big win at the casino – $100,000 on a keno game in 1995 – that the fraud was discovered.

2. Shaved Coins

This shaved coin scam doesn’t really exist today, but it’s still interesting to know about.

As technology advanced, slot machines began using a light sensor to register payments. On a large number of machines, the optical sensor worked separately from the physical comparator.

Basically, this meant that if a scraped coin was sent down at the same time as an item that matched the shape and size of the required stake coin, the scraped coin would be returned while the other item landed in the machine and the game began.

3. Counterfeit Coins

Another method of slot machine cheating that has been used throughout history has been counterfeit coins.

Counterfeit coins were used by fraudster Louis “The Coin” Colavecchio to defraud casinos for years until his arrest in 1998.

He was released in 2006 and quickly started cheating again. It was a matter of months before he was unsurprisingly sussed again.

4. Magnet

We are often asked how to cheat a slot machine with a magnet.

Let’s get one thing straight: It’s actually not possible to cheat modern slot machines with a magnet as they are all programmed by computer software and not magnetic.

However, with the older machines, when they were still made of metal, you could cheat with a magnet.

To cheat on slots with a magnet, you could spin the reels and then use a powerful magnet on the outside of the machine to stop them from spinning when you see your winning combination.

Scammers would then remove the magnet and request the payout.

This wasn’t the most subtle of cheats, but if done well, people could easily win big bucks!

5. Yo-yo

This slots cheat was all about the tech.

A string is attached to the coin, the coin is sent into the machine until it triggers the start of the game, and then the player uses the string to bring the coin back up.

Nowadays, thanks to the advancement of technology, this technique is pretty much obsolete.

However, it is a true classic and if it had worked you would have seen a big win.

6. Lightstick

Image: Chronicle.augusta.com

Tommy Glenn Carmichael is one of the most notorious slot cheats in gambling history. He is in charge of the Light Wand.

Magicians like David Copperfield, Dynamo, and David Blaine may have the ability to create the illusion that something is happening, but Carmichael used his light wand to make jackpot wins magically appear out of nowhere.

The light wand would effectively blind the optical sensor on slot machines so it couldn’t tell how many coins were deposited into the machine, meaning it wouldn’t know when to cash out or how much.

This meant Carmichael could rig a slot machine to his advantage, turning small wins into massive payouts.

7. Piano Wire

This is an oldie but a tidbit in the world of slots cheats.

A group of men worked together at Caesars Boardwalk Regency Casino in Atlantic City in 1982. A man opened up the target slot machine and attached 20-inch lengths of piano wire to the whirring guts of the game.

The wires could then be used to block the clock that measured wheel spins, allowing the group to manipulate the spins.

They hit the $50,000 jackpot but unfortunately their entire scam was filmed and the winning player was arrested before leaving the premises.

8. Top-Bottom Connection

Image: poptower.com

This is one of the most sophisticated methods of cheating on slot machines and was popular with cheats in the 1970s and 1980s.

They used a special tool that was divided into two parts. A top (a metal rod with the end bent in the shape of a “q”) and a bottom (a long wire).

By passing the bottom through the coin chute and the top through the coin slot, the scammers were able to lock up the machine and force the game to release any coins stored in it.

Big wins galore!

9. Monkey Paw

It’s that man Carmichael again. He was an absolute genius when it came to cheating.

He was the creator of the “Monkey’s Paw”. After testing new methods on a video poker machine, he finally built the right contraption. It was amazingly easy.

He took a guitar string and attached it to a bent metal rod. He stuck it into the machine’s vent and swung it around until he pressed the coin hopper release switch.

Cue the avalanche of coins.

10. Bank note validator

A simple but very effective slots cheat.

This is a small device that is wrapped around a bill to fool the slot machine into accepting a $100 bill when in reality it only accepts a modest $1 bill.

11. Replacement of computer chips

Dennis Nikrasch changed the game of cheating on slot machines with this idea.

He bought a slot machine and fiddled with it in his garage trying to figure out what was wrong.

He found that the computer chips in the machines could be reprogrammed to be manipulated to pay out jackpots on tap.

Nikrasch ordered a batch of these chips, hired a team of scammers, acquired a wad of slot machine keys, and began a fraud reign that bled casinos dry for years.

And he did it all by simply swapping the independent chips for his manipulated chips.

12. Software Errors

Image: businesscomputingworld.co.uk

Software errors have been manipulated by cheats for decades.

By playing a certain pattern of bets and games, players could confuse the machine and trigger an error that pays out the jackpot.

Many slots cheats have benefited from it over the years, but now many jackpot winners are also being denied their winnings as a result.

The most famous incident happened in 2015 when 90-year-old Illinois grandmother Pauline McKee won $41 million playing a Miss Kitty slot machine at the Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo.

She first tried to sue the casino in 2012, but her last appeal was dismissed three years later. Unfortunately historical cases are the reason why the casino wins this case.
