Ring of Brodgar
Attributes, alongside Abilities determine how well a character can perform various tasks, like crafting, foraging and combat. Attributes are permanently raised by eating to gain Food Event Points (FEPs) or completing Credos. See the FEP Table for a list of all foods and their FEPs. They also can be temporarily raised, or lowered, by wearing certain pieces of Equipment i.e., clothing, jewelry. (See also Equipment Table), Wounds, or drinking Elixirs. When raised the attributes value appears green next to the actual/base number, displayed in white. As stated, certain clothing, or wounds even, can temporarily lower an attribute from its base (up-to a minimum value of 1). Whenever it is lowered lower than its base it will appear red aside of the base number.
Strength
Your Hearthling’s raw physical strength, used most often in combat, destruction, and mining.
Affects damage inflicted by melee weapons or unarmed attacks.
Affects Mining Ability as S t r e n g t h ∗ a v g T o o l {\displaystyle {\sqrt {Strength*avgTool}}}
Affects your ability to destroy objects, by (Adventuring -> Destroy) or using a Battering Ram. Stone axe adds 1 damage, a Pickaxe adds 2 damage, and a Sledgehammer adds 4. Your damage is calculated by sqrt(Strength).
In conjunction with Smithing, softcaps the quality of objects crafted with Metal Working and Steelmaking.
Affects movement speed while carrying objects.

Having higher agility than your opponent decreases your attack cooldowns in close combat, and increases the opponents attack cooldowns by the same amount.

We’ve been developing, and here’s what’s new.
New Implementations

Floating point coordinates. With tonight’s patch we will, at long last, be converting the live server map from integer to floating point coordinates. This may have all manner of consequences know and unknown, in terms of object placements and movement interactions, and whatnot, so report any new and unexpected behaviors. It feels good to finally push this, at least. All clients need to be updated, and custom clients need to merge these changes.
Added “Windmill”. A Windmill is a large house in which you can build a “Milling Machine”. The machine is built separately from the Mill itself, in anticipation of other machineries that we may add in the future. Fill the machine with millable seeds, and watch it turn into glorious flour. There is no quality impact from the machine, and the resulting flour thus has the same qualities as the seeds.
Added “Wall Shelf”. You can craft and hang a wall shelf on a wall, and it then functions as a container.
Re-added “Strongbox”. The strongbox can’t be built on claims without access to them, and also can’t be moved.
You may now place locks on chests, large chests, stone caskets, coffers, and sheds.
There is now an informal weight system which allows us to specify weights on carried objects, and, thus, you may now carry lighter things — pots, and whatnot — at significantly increased speeds. A net result of this is that most things are, quite simply, a lot easier to carry. Carrying speed also increases with character strength.

The majority of the time over the past weeks has been dedicated to a push-out mechanic, by which characters, when colliding, would gracefully slide off objects, rather than clip hard on every little pixel. We had hoped to have it finished, but it isn’t, albeit underway, so we decided to push what other little things we had to at least throw you a bone. Apologies for the delays, but it’s kind of a big deal.

力こそパワー
属性名からわかる通り近接戦闘で戦うときに与えるダメージ量、建築物を破壊するときのスピード、マイニングの時の壁の壊しやすさに影響してくる
物を持ち上げたときに歩く速度は遅くなるけど、STRが大きければ大きいほどこの時の速度はあがる
また金属系のアイテムのソフトキャップにもなる
ちなみにstrengthの読み方は「ストレングス」じゃなくて「ストレンクス」な
戦闘系に直結するから脳筋には必要不可欠な属性

「Travel to your Hearth Fire」を使うと自分のハースファイヤーまでテレポートできるけど、その時に旅の疲れ(Travel Weariness)が溜まる
AGIを上げることによって旅の疲れの上がりやすさを抑えることができる
また戦闘時に相手のAGIより自分のほうが大きければ攻撃のクールダウンが短くなり、その分相手のクールダウンが長くなる
戦闘時の素早い攻撃が可能になるからSTRと並行してこちらも戦闘には必要不可欠

一番重要な要素がStudyのメンタルウェイト上限を増やして高いウェイトのものでも学べるようになるということ
最初はINTが10だからメンタルウェイト上限は10だけ、だからウェイトが5とか8とかのCuriosityは学ぼうとすると他のが学べなくなったりするからLP獲得に時間がかかる
だから最初はこれを上げるために道端に落ちてるブルーベリー片っ端から食いまくって早く頭良くなれ生まれたてのお前は馬鹿だ
その他にもアビリティ(Abilities)のステルス(Stealth)と関連して犯罪を行ったときに残す臭いの量が少なくなったり、石斧(Stone Axe)とかの初歩的な道具のクラフトのソフトキャップにもなるよ
